Because God's ways are not our ways, they can oftentimes seem somewhat backwards or juxtaposed to logic. The whole premise of the pleasure principle is to avoid discomfort by any means. Howbeit, God's definition of pleasure seems to be derived from discomfort. While no one fully understands why God allows suffering in the lives of His people, when we are yielded to His will, we can rest assured that it's latter end is restoration and reward. Still, the pain that accompanies suffering is very real. We may even have to cry sometimes. Yet, it is during these times that God reminds us of His perspective: "Yet, it was the LORD's good pleasure to bruise (crush) him; subjecting him to suffering." My God! even in the midst of my own pain...
There are lots of them around. They show little enthusiasm for anything they do. They are bored and do not care about anything but themselves. A. These people really do not want to get saved or see other people getting saved and on their way to heaven. B. They want only to be saved from the penalty of what they have done against God. C. They are sure they are going to enter heaven anyway even though they are not serving the Lord, nor preaching, nor teaching or bringing lost souls to the feet of Jesus. D. They do not live by faith, they exist only by what they see and hear. Fast and pray for all lukewarm people. They are lost and need the Lord. Be hot or cold. If you are lukewarm Jesus will not like it nor you or me will enter...
I HEARD THE LORD SAY “THE ENEMY HAS WEARIED MANY AT EVERY SIDE, ATTEMPTED TO WEAR THEM DOWN, BUT NOW MY STRONG ARM IS BRINGING DELIVERANCE AND STRENGTHENING!” by ### Ministries The Lord spoke to me this week that the enemy has been coming against many to bring about a weariness and to "wear them down". I heard those words repeating over and over in my spirit "wear them down". It was like a "grinding down", like adding another weight to the load, it was another hit when they are already wounded and it has become harder and harder for many to keep standing. So many have been in their times with the Lord crying out "God, I can't stand anymore. God where is the reprieve? God where is the release? I feel so empty and like I am barely...
We read things in the Bible, then in another area of the Bible something is stated that seems to override it. Like, we read, "Believe, and you shall be saved, AND YOUR HOUSE." But we also read, "A man's enemies shall be they of his own household." Also, in the last days, "A father shall deliver a son up to persecution, and a son a father." (and others mentioned.) Now if we're all on the same page, why would family members be delivering each other to persecution? Also, if anyone takes the mark of the beast they will lose all chance of salvation, yet this being in the last days it is believed that the unsaved loved ones are delivering the saved loved one to the Antichrist. Doesn't sound like someone whose whole house has been saved, does...
Every morning of my life I bow down before the Lord thanking Him for sending Jesus. Full of grace and mercy toward the lost and those who rejected Him. Without His grace and mercy we would be heading straight to hell. I come to You o Lord, full of mercy and compassion. Save the souls of all prayer warriors, those who write prayers and everyone else. Make them ready to see Jesus coming in the clouds to take us all home to heaven. We are living in the last days and Jesus is at the door. Open our eyes to see the glorious promise Jesus gave to all of us. I am going to prepare a place for you... that where I am, there you may be also. I believe, I trust, I wait for the Lord day and night. I hope everyone else is doing this...
Psalm 67 King James Version (KJV) 67 God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah. 2 That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations. 3 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. 4 O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah. 5 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. 6 Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. 7 God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.
Jesus, my Lord and my Savior. You are so gentle, so kind and good to those who seek Your face early in the morning. Jesus, the name above all names, show us the way in which we should go. Jesus, You are the Way that lead us to heaven. Like a morning star, You shine our path to find our way to glory. Nothing we have brought to this world and nothing we will be able to take to heaven. Everything belongs to You. Give us wisdom to use it for the glory of Thy name. Fill us o Lord with Thy holy presence, so we will be a shining light to those who work in darknes. In Jesus name. Amen
Psalm 61 King James Version (KJV) 61 Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. 2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. 3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. 4 I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah. 5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name. 6 Thou wilt prolong the king's life: and his years as many generations. 7 He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him. 8 So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
Mornings are an incredibly special part of our day, a new day to love God greatly and do better. Morning prayer can make all the difference. It is the most special time of day to pray, because it means that we are making God a priority and giving Him the very first hours of our precious day. Early morning sleep is very pleasant. But the Bible says in Proverbs 24:33-34 33 A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest— 34 and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man. (Spiritual as well as material poverty). At the same time we can find our God through our early morning prayer. Proverbs 8:17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find...
