Ven a Mí y te daré descanso a tu alma turbada. Algunos de tus amigos dirían. Lamento que llores la mayoría de las...
Sometimes when we want to do something, the person who can help us is "backed up".You go to a car maintenance/repair shop and they tell you, we're "backed up" we can't fit you in for a few hours.Or we, ourselves, sometimes don't "get to" things because we're "overloaded."So now, when I have prayer requests, usually after giving one prayer request, another problem soon pops up, so I have to plea for that one, too. After that, another, etc. So I notice that, in order of how I requested them, maybe a few months later a request from the past is answered, but I still have the most recent problem. So while most Christians would say, well, it's on Gods time and not ours,{easy for them to say, they're not the one in the problem},I wonder if...
Sometimes Jesus want us all go through pain in the heart, in the mind, in the body and through other peoples actions and words. Do not take it to heart. Just ask the Lord to take it away from you and save the souls of those who are making you feel in pain. Pain should not make us look down on ourselves. It should draw us closer to Jesus. He sends health, peace and joy in our life, but sometimes we have to go through pain and sorrow. Pain should not make us look back to where it started and where will it end. Sometimes Jesus want us go through excruciating pain so we shall call and depend on Him for healing us. It is so difficult for us to see wisdom in the scars we have in our heart and body. But with time and wisdom from...
"Beelzebub they called him" They preached strange doctrines, those leaders of men and teachers of religious law. Perhaps they mislabeled Jesus because they were smelling themselves; or more aptly, smelling the stench of their own sins, smeared on this clean vessel. Whatever the reason, they were wrong. I'm so glad they were wrong! They did not understand that, unlike the postman, who only delivers the mail, but does pay the postage; or the stamp which covers the cost, but can not deliver the package; JESUS came to settle the whole matter. He paid the price in full; accepted the delivery on our behalf; and descended into hell, in person, to "RETURN TO SENDER;" the package of condemnation "in the devil's face!" Why then, would...
Jesus clearly told us. My home is not here. If it were angels would come and defend me. His kingdom is forever and He want us all to be with Him in heaven. Blessed be the name of the Lord for revealing us the truth and nothing but the truth. All the millions of dollars you have will not enter heaven. Not the gold or silver. The only thing it shall enter heaven is the souls we brougth to His feet and the eternal word written down in our hearts.
Will You Drink From His Cup?
God, in all His wisdom, has a purpose for our pain, a reason for our suffering, a path for our struggles, and a gift for our steadfast faithfulness. "Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart and lean not on you own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your path straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6) NIV. This is a cup that we must drink from...the same cup of the Lord's if we are to follow Him. "You don't know what you are asking." Jesus said, "can you drink from the cup that I drink or be baptized with? Jesus said to them, you WILL drink from the cup I drink and be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with..." (Mark 10:38-39) NIV. Jesus is speaking to His disciples and telling them the cost of following Him. They drank...
