Pregnancy

Disciple of Prayer
I’m currently ### weeks pregnant and feeling a little anxious. I’d really appreciate your prayers for the healthy growth and development of the baby growing inside me, and for a safe, healthy pregnancy. Please also pray that God fills my heart with peace and strength. Thank you so much for your prayers.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for the precious life He has entrusted to you. The miracle of life growing within you is a testament to God’s love and creativity, and we rejoice with you in this sacred journey. The anxiety you feel is understandable, but we know that God’s peace, which surpasses all understanding, is available to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let us lift this time of pregnancy to Him together.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of this child and for the privilege of carrying new life. We ask that You watch over this little one, knitting them together in their mother’s womb with health, strength, and vitality. Lord, we pray for every stage of development, may Your hand guide the formation of their body, mind, and spirit. Protect this baby from harm and fill their mother with the assurance of Your presence. We also ask for a safe and healthy pregnancy, free from complications, and for Your strength to sustain her through every moment of this journey.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that seeks to steal her peace. Your Word tells us that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill her heart with Your perfect peace, reminding her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Give her the courage to trust in You completely, knowing that You hold her and her baby in the palm of Your hand.

We also want to encourage you to lean on the Lord daily. Spend time in His Word, meditating on verses that speak of His faithfulness and care. Psalm 139:13-14 reminds us, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." Let this truth sink deep into your heart, God is intricately involved in every detail of this pregnancy, and He is worthy of your trust.

If there are any areas of your life where you feel uncertain or overwhelmed, bring them to the Lord in prayer. He invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Surround yourself with godly community, believers who can uplift you, pray with you, and walk alongside you during this season. Remember, you are not alone; the Lord is with you, and so are we, standing in faith with you.

Finally, we want to gently remind you of the importance of keeping your heart and mind focused on Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Him, we encourage you to consider the gift of salvation He offers. Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose again so that we might have eternal life and a personal relationship with God. If you would like to know more about how to receive this gift, we would be honored to share the good news with you.

Lord, we lift up this precious mother and her baby to You now. May Your peace flood her soul, Your strength uphold her, and Your love surround her. We declare that this pregnancy is covered by Your grace and that Your will be done in every aspect of it. Thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

It’s completely normal to feel anxious during pregnancy, you’re carrying a new life, and all those hopes and unknowns can press in at once. We’re so glad you reached out.

Something we’ve seen often is that just voicing those fears to someone safe can loosen their grip. If you have a close friend, your spouse, or a trusted woman from church you can talk with honestly, that can help more than we might expect. And while we know you’re seeking prayer first, please don’t hesitate to bring every symptom or worry to your doctor or midwife, they’re there for exactly these questions, and that’s part of how God cares for you right now.

As you walk through these months, remember that peace doesn’t usually crash in like a wave; more often, it builds quietly as we take one day at a time, releasing what we can’t control. You don’t have to manufacture calm or pretend the anxiety isn’t there. You just keep bringing it to the Lord, again and again, and trust that He sees both you and this little one.

Lord Jesus, we lift this mother to You. Settle her heart with a quiet confidence that You are knitting this baby together in wisdom and love. Protect them both. Give her medical team keen eyes and good judgment. When anxious thoughts rise, meet her with Your steady presence, and let her sense that she is held securely by You. Grant her restful sleep, gentle days, and small moments of joy that remind her You are near. In Your name we ask this, amen.

Give time to the Lord each day with a prayer and a bit of scripture. The Lord will give you a healthy baby. We can be assured to receive the benefits of God when we pray and make time for the Lord often daily. Its hard sometimes even for me but I slow down and I stop and I sit wirh my bible and my prayerwall and slow myself down. May Lord Yeshua and Fatger God bless the request of the faithful. Who continue in prayer and continue to seek the Lord often. Amen.

The consciousness of our own weakness is a schoolmaster to drive us to the strong for strength. Whenever you feel that you have something to do that is beyond you, stop a moment and breathe a prayer for more strength. The Lord Himself says, "I will strengthen them." God Himself will impart strength to His chosen, and therefore it will be fitly infused and wisely balanced. Even the glory of man's physical strength, whether he knows it or not, belongs to God. He makes the young man vigorous, and the full-grown man mature in strength. All strength of every sort comes from God, since He is the Author of all being. It is He who gives strength to every form of existence.

The very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. You gaze upon the dear one within with ever-increasing anxiety, yet hold your peace, for your thoughts are vain where your understanding is baffled. Cast foreboding fears away. "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You: because he trusts in You." This peace is a present possession and may be enjoyed in the ordinary circumstances of life. Peace, yes, perfect peace! What a heaven lies within! To do the will of Jesus, this is rest.

Our future all unknown? Jesus we know, and He is on the Throne. In Jesus' keeping we are safe, and they. Will not an assured conviction of this truth bathe us in seas of heavenly peace? He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings shall you trust. Stooping down and spreading out her wings, she covers them and they are safe. The warmth of her feathers makes them seem peculiarly happy and at ease. It little matters whether a man has no burden and no strength, or a heavy burden and great strength; probably of the two, we should prefer to have the burden and the strength. The Lord will give strength unto His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.

They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. We must renew our strength, for it is for our honour, comfort, and safety. Daily strength for daily needs. Then shall your peace be as a river, and then shall your strength be restored right speedily. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The anxious thoughts that shadow the soul are like a feverish dream. Why do you let them enfeeble you? The child within you is no mere happening of nature, but a work of the Creator. Did not the Psalmist sing, “Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me”? Trust not the appearances of your fleeting fears, but the hidden hand that weaves bone and sinew in secret.

Remember that each believer has a guardian angel, and your little one already enjoys that care. If a whole host of heaven rejoices over a sinner’s repentance, how much more do they watch over a new life fashioned in the image of God? Commend your child to these invisible companions; their gaze beholds the Father’s face.

As for your body, be neither careless nor coddled. A ship built too delicately founders in calm; so a body given to sloth and luxury invites infirmity. Eat simply, walk gently, and shun the flabbiness that breeds despair. Cheerfulness of spirit is the best medicine, for “a merry heart doeth good like a medicine,” while gloom brings on a hundred ailments. When the morning light streaks the east, lift your voice in thanksgiving: that the Father of mercies has counted you worthy to share in creation’s mystery.

Above all, seek the peace that Christ alone bestows. Not the world’s peace, which is a truce between battles, but the peace that roots itself in the soul like a great tree. When the mother rests in that peace, the child rests with her. So pray often, “Lord, grant me peace,” for where peace is absent, everything is amiss. And if your heart still trembles, remember Gamaliel’s wisdom: if this life is of God, no power on earth or under it can overthrow. He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion.

I will join my prayers to yours, asking the Lord of life to make the hidden parts strong, to bring forth the child in safety, and to fill your house with that peace which is the mother of all good things.
