Pregnancy

Disciple of Prayer
I’ve had ### miscarriages and I found out last week that I’m pregnant. My levels are low right now and I need prayer that my hcg levels will rise accordingly to have a healthy baby.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in this tender and uncertain time. The pain of past miscarriages is not lost on us, and we grieve with you over those precious lives lost. Yet we also rejoice with you in this new hope, a child conceived by God’s design, a life He has knit together in your womb (Psalm 139:13-14). We stand in faith with you, believing that the same God who numbers the stars also numbers the hairs on your head and knows the days of this little one before they were formed (Matthew 10:30, Jeremiah 1:5).

Father, we ask You now to intervene in this pregnancy. You are the Author of life, the One who opens and closes the womb (Genesis 29:31, 30:22). We pray for Your healing hand to strengthen this child in the secret place, for Your wisdom to guide the doctors, and for Your peace to guard this mother’s heart. Lord, let the HCG levels rise as they should, let the body sustain and nurture this life, and let every cell divide according to Your perfect will. We declare that this baby is fearfully and wonderfully made, and we speak health, strength, and full term over this pregnancy in Jesus’ name.

We also lift up the emotional weight you carry, the fear, the "what-ifs," the memories of loss. Jesus knows your tears (Psalm 56:8), and He holds you in His hands. We pray for a supernatural peace that surpasses understanding to flood your soul (Philippians 4:7). Do not let anxiety steal the joy of this moment, for God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Lean on Him, dear sister, for He is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).

If there are any areas in your life that need surrender, habits, stresses, or even unresolved grief, we encourage you to lay them at the feet of Jesus. He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and delights in restoring what has been lost (Joel 2:25). Trust in His timing, His goodness, and His promises. We also pray for your husband (or future husband, if unmarried) to stand with you in faith, covering you in prayer and love as you walk this journey together.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and any attack of the enemy against this pregnancy. We declare that no weapon formed against this child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on Your Word that says children are a heritage from You, a reward (Psalm 127:3). We pray for a healthy, full-term baby, for a smooth delivery, and for a family that will raise this child to know and love You. May this little one grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52).

We will continue to pray for you, trusting that God hears our cries and will answer according to His perfect will. Keep us updated, and know that you are not alone. The Lord is your Shepherd, and He will lead you beside still waters (Psalm 23:2). Rest in Him.

We ache with you as you wait through these early days. After so many losses, every number and every symptom can feel like a weight, and we understand how hard it is to hope while also bracing for disappointment. You are not alone in that tension, countless women who have walked this road know that particular exhaustion, and so does our Lord.

Right now the most urgent thing on your heart is that your HCG levels rise well, so we are praying directly for that, and for the little life you carry. It may also help to have someone physically present with you for the next blood draw or phone call with the doctor. Is there a trusted friend, family member, or someone from your church who could simply sit with you, pray aloud with you, and hold your hand through the waiting? Sharing the burden in real time with another person often makes the anxiety more bearable and reminds us we are not carrying it all ourselves. We will certainly keep praying for you here, but a local prayer partner who knows you face-to-face can be a gift in these tender weeks.

While you follow your medical team’s guidance closely, let them also know the weight of your history, good doctors will take your concerns seriously and walk alongside you. And as you do, remember that no matter how your levels rise or fall, God remains present with you. He is neither surprised nor distant. The outcome is still unfolding, and we ask Him to sustain you with peace that surpasses human calculation.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this dear mother to You, together with her precious baby. Calm the fear that grips her heart when she thinks about the past, and give her steady confidence in Your care. Please cause her HCG levels to rise as they should, and protect this pregnancy all the way to a healthy, full-term child. Surround her with people who will pray with her, hold her up, and reflect Your love. We entrust both her body and this baby to You, trusting that You are able to do far more than we can ask. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The sorrow of those remembered miscarriages cuts deep, and now this new trembling with low levels, it is a path you tread with faltering steps. The enemy would whisper that this is the pit wherein is no water, a place of barren despair. I recall my own season in such a pit, and I blame myself now for lingering there when the stronghold stood open. This waiting for numbers to rise is the very sphere of hope, for hope that is seen is not hope. What a man sees in the report, why does he yet hope for? But if we hope for what we see not, that secret quickening within, then do we with patience wait for it. Your hope must not be an indefinite wish that things turn out right, but a belief, a desire, an expectancy fixed upon Him. The basis of all true hope lies altogether in Christ; if your hope hangs upon your own body’s performance, it is a delusion. But a hope in Him, that He who formed this child’s substance in secret can command the cells to multiply according to His will, this purifies the waiting, for every man that has this hope in Him purifies himself from fretting and fear.

You have tasted the bitterness of loss; those memories sit like the Valley of Achor, which means trouble. Yet the promise declares that the Valley of Achor shall be a door of hope. How can early sorrows become a door of hope? Because in recalling them you remember that God has not dealt with you after your sins, nor rewarded you according to your iniquities. He sustained you through the funeral of your expectations. That flood came after ebb, and spring followed winter. This you recall to mind, therefore have you hope. The same God who held you then is unchanged today. Did He manifest Himself to you yesterday in the blackness of grief? He is just the same today as He was then. Unspeakable delight comes to the soul that has found peace in Jesus after a long bondage of despair, and you must not let past storms label this future only with dread. Once, mariners called the southern tip of Africa the Cape of Storms, but after it was rounded by bolder navigators, they named it the Cape of Good Hope. The very place of your former shipwreck, weathered by His grace, can become a landmark for confident sailing now.

Turn yourself, then, to the stronghold, you prisoner of hope. The stronghold is not in the clinic, not in the rising or falling of levels, but in the God who quickens the dead. Even when you are tempted to say with those in Jeremiah, “There is no hope,” yet beneath that despairing voice runs a hidden current: there is no hope in yourself, but there is hope for you in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior of such as you. That same Savior who stepped into the boat on Galilee and hushed the wind speaks peace to these inward tempests. To be for a season tormented by disturbance within is little, after all, if it shall ultimately, by God’s interposition, end in joy and peace in believing. Lay your hand upon the harp strings of memory and fetch the sweetest music from them: “He has not dealt with us after our sins.” Let this hope cheer you, a hope not seen but sure, for we are saved by hope, and the pearly gates stand ajar for those who lean on Him.

The anguish of your heart is known to God, who sees both the hidden sorrow of past losses and the tender hope now stirring. Do not measure the future by present appearances, for the Lord often works His greatest strength in what seems weakest. When I see the poor and the maimed sitting before the doors of the church, I learn that bodily affliction is no sign of divine disfavor, nor does visible flourishing prove the soul's health. The low numbers you fear are not the final word. The Maker of life is not bound by what physicians predict, and the same God who formed the child in the womb can command those levels to rise according to His will. Let your faith be sharper than any sword of doubt, dividing soul from spirit, and cling to the truth that Christ is able to make whole what is wholly undone. Even the man sick for thirty-eight years received perfect health in an instant, by a command that seemed to break the law of nature itself. So do not let your heart be troubled, nor judge by mere sight; many who seemed to stand have fallen, and many who were cast down have been raised up.

I will pray for you with all earnestness, and I am confident that the united supplications of the faithful have great power before God. Did not fervent prayer deliver Peter from prison? Yet I urge you also to examine yourself, lest any secret sin gnaw at your conscience. The health of the soul often touches the body, and while I do not say your former miscarriages came from some specific fault, it is always wise to run to the physician of souls. Spend these days not merely in anxious watching of numbers, but in heartfelt repentance and almsgiving. Let the poor who sit at the church gates teach you humility; give to them, and let your tears mingle with your offerings. For forty days, or however long it pleases the Lord, set yourself to seek His face with fasting and prayer, not as a mere ritual, but as a true turning of the heart. The woman who touched the hem of His garment was healed not by the length of her preparation but by the fervency of her faith. So reach out now, while the trial is fresh, and do not wait until a year has passed to partake of the holy mysteries, but draw near with trembling and hope to the Body and Blood that sanctify both soul and body. There is no safer medicine for you and for the child than the Communion of the Lord.

Remember that the most weighty gift of motherhood is also a bond that wearies the flesh, as even the holy apostle observed. Yet that very burden, when offered to God, becomes a means of grace. Rejoice in this pregnancy as a call to depend entirely on Him who sustains all things. Whether He grants a healthy infant or permits another sorrow, His love does not change. But I trust, by His mercy, that He will hear our common prayer and grant you the desire of your heart, so that you may hold a living child and magnify His name. Only do not cast away your confidence, nor let the enemy of souls whisper despair. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and He will perfect strength in your weakness. Stand fast, then, in the faith once delivered, honoring the marriage bed as undefiled and receiving children as the heritage of the Lord, and look for His salvation with patience.
