Prayers

We hear your cry for deliverance, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have power over the forces of darkness. Your suffering has not gone unnoticed by our Heavenly Father, and we come together to rebuke these demonic attacks and declare freedom over your life.

The Word of God assures us that "the Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8 WEB). Jesus came to set the captives free, and He has given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19 WEB). We take hold of that authority now and command every unclean spirit tormenting you to flee in the name of Jesus Christ! You have no place in this child of God, for "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4 WEB).

We also recognize that spiritual warfare often requires us to examine our lives for any open doors that may have given the enemy access. Have you renounced any sin, ungodly soul ties, or involvement in occult practices? The Bible warns us, "Do not give the devil a foothold" (Ephesians 4:27 WEB). If there is anything in your life that does not align with God’s holiness, we encourage you to repent and turn away from it. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7 WEB), and His grace is sufficient to break every chain.

We pray for you now with urgency and faith:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We lift up our brother/sister who is enduring relentless spiritual attacks. Lord, You are the God who delivers, the One who sets the oppressed free. We ask You to send Your warring angels to encamp around them, to break every chain, and to silence every lying voice of the enemy. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and that the enemy will not have the final say over their life. Strengthen them, Lord, with Your might, and remind them that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37 WEB). Surround them with godly believers who can stand in agreement with them for their deliverance and walk alongside them in faith.

Father, if there are any areas of their life that need repentance or cleansing, reveal them in Your mercy. Lead them to walk in holiness and righteousness, for Your Word says that "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). Let them experience the fullness of Your love and the freedom that comes from living in obedience to You.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that this torment will not last another day, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We praise You for the breakthrough that is coming, and we trust in Your perfect timing. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, beloved. Put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18 WEB), immerse yourself in Scripture, and surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray with you and support you. The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is already a defeated foe. Your deliverance is coming, do not lose heart! "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB). Walk in the authority you have in Christ, and remember that you are deeply loved by the One who laid down His life for you.

We have sat with your words, and we feel the weight you are carrying, a year and seven months is a long, exhausting fight, and it makes sense you feel worn down. When the torment drags on like this, it can feel endless and isolating, as if no one truly understands the relentless pressure.

What we want you to know is that you are not crazy, and you are not alone. Many faithful Christians have walked through seasons of intense spiritual attack and found freedom and peace again. Your cry for prayer is powerful because it points to faith that still trusts Christ, even when every feeling screams otherwise.

One practical step that has helped others in similar battles is to intentionally invite a few mature, trustworthy believers to walk through this with you, people grounded in both Scripture and prayer, who will not treat you like a case study but will love you and pray with you face to face. Together you can quietly and persistently take the authority Christ has given you. Sometimes freedom comes not in a single dramatic moment but as you keep turning from anything that gave the enemy a foothold, renouncing it plainly and then filling that space with Christ, through steady Scripture reading, honest prayer, and worship. That is not a formula, and we are not promising a date, but it is the steady path of weakening darkness by letting Light occupy more and more ground.

Would you also let us gently ask: have you seen a medical doctor for a thorough checkup? Intense spiritual distress can affect the body and mind in ways that sometimes need medical attention too, and ruling out any underlying physical or mental health factors is wise, not a sign of weak faith. There is no shame in caring for the whole person God made.

We are praying. Lord Jesus, You see this beloved one, exhausted and afraid after so many months of torment. We ask for Your strong, quiet peace to settle right now in the deepest part of their spirit. Shut the mouths of every lying voice that says they are abandoned or beyond Your reach. Send them believers who will stand alongside and pray with steadiness and love. Let every chain the enemy has wrapped around them loosen and fall away as they rest in Your finished work and speak Your name. Shield them tonight, and give them just enough courage for tomorrow. In Jesus’ name.

A year and seven months is a long road to walk with the shadow of the enemy falling across your path. I do not wonder that your cry comes up sharp and urgent. You have been sorely pressed, not with vague fears, but with what you know as a torment of mind and spirit. Let me sit beside you just now and speak plainly: you are not forgotten of heaven. The Lord has not given you over to be a prey to the destroyer, even though every feeling cries out that it is so.

Satan has one arrow in his quiver that he keeps for such seasons as yours. He comes to the child of God and whispers, “Your God has cast you off. You are too far gone. You will never smile again in the sunlight of His face.” That dark insinuation is the very poison of hell, and many of the Lord’s Jacobs have limped sorely under its wound. But remember this: it is a lie from the father of lies. Your Shepherd may allow the wolf to howl close, but He has not handed you over to his teeth. The Lord’s ear is not heavy, and His arm is not shortened. He hears the bleat of the lamb even when the storm is loudest.

When you cannot frame a prayer, remember that the Word of God is a well that never runs dry. Dip your bucket there. The promises are not locked up in some far country; they are nigh you, even in your mouth. When you feel like one going down into the pit, cling to that cord: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” That word hung upon Martin Luther’s wall, and it steadied him when bulls and devils raged. Let it be your staff now. The Lord who brought Israel out of Egypt with silver and gold will not leave you to perish in the wilderness. He will bring you forth; He will make the iron gate to swing open, though its hinges be stiff with rust and despair.

You are not wrestling with flesh and blood, and that is why the battle seems so beyond your strength. Yet the victory is not yours to win by your own grit; it is already won by the Captain of your salvation. He has overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil. You are in Him, and in Him you are more than a conqueror. The dark prince has no rightful hold on you. Christ has translated you out of the kingdom of darkness. You may feel the dog of unbelief snapping at your heels, but muzzle him with the truth: “He that is in me is greater than he that is in the world.”

And now I turn your cause over to the One who is mighty to save.

O Lord Jesus, who didst tread the winepress alone and didst meet the prince of darkness in the desert and upon the tree, come near to this sorely tried one. Let not the enemy have the last word over this soul. Silence the accuser with the voice of Thine own blood. Let the sweet dew of Thy Spirit fall upon this parched ground. Turn the shadow of death into the morning, and give the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Keep that which I now commit to Thee against that day. In Thy name, our sure Deliverer, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
