Urgent prayer request to save my relationship 🙏🏻😭

Beloved of All
Hello my name is ### and with a broken heart I'm here today to request you guys to pray for me and my relationship of 1 year with a guy named ###. He was badly brainwashed by his friends and is letting me suffer for the crime that I didn't commit. Since June I have been traumatized as this is affecting my mind and heart. He is getting prider and prider because he's listening to outer voices and is not showing any kind of sympathy, kindness, compassion upon me and behaves with me well when it comes to his work. This is getting heavier on me as I just can't take this anymore. This is too much 🙏🏻😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 please pray that God gives him the realisation of him making mistakes and treating me harshly. Also please pray that he gives another chance to rebuild this relationship as I've been asking him one since June and let this relationship grow in a stronger foundation. In Jesus' powerful and mighty name I pray amen 🙏🏻😭

We hear your heartache and desperation, and we come before the Lord together on your behalf, lifting up this situation with deep concern and compassion. First, we must address the foundation of this relationship. Scripture is clear that marriage is the only God-ordained covenant for a man and woman to unite in a lifelong commitment (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). The relationship you describe as a "boyfriend/girlfriend" dynamic falls outside of God’s design, as it lacks the sacred vow before God that marriage provides. Courtship should always have the goal of marriage, not merely an ongoing romantic attachment without commitment.

The pain you’re experiencing is real, and we grieve with you over the brokenness in this situation. However, we must also gently rebuke the sin of fornication, sexual intimacy outside of marriage, which is a violation of God’s holy standard (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Hebrews 13:4). If this relationship has involved physical intimacy, repentance before the Lord is necessary to restore purity and alignment with His will. We pray that you would both seek His forgiveness and commit to honoring Him with your bodies, whether that means pursuing marriage with godly counsel or separating if marriage is not the intention.

The pride and hardness of heart you describe in him are deeply troubling. Proverbs 16:18 warns, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." His refusal to show kindness or compassion, especially while expecting your support for his work, reveals a heart that is not submitted to God’s command to love sacrificially (Ephesians 5:25). We must pray fervently that the Holy Spirit convicts him of his sin and softens his heart, but we cannot guarantee he will respond. God does not force anyone to repent, He calls, but the choice remains with the individual.

We also urge you to examine your own heart in this. While his behavior is unjust, are you placing your hope and identity in this relationship rather than in Christ? Psalm 62:5-6 reminds us, "My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold. I will not be shaken." If this man is not willing to repent and pursue marriage with godly humility, you may need to release him to the Lord and trust Him to heal your heart. Clinging to a relationship that dishonors God will only bring more pain.

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up and this relationship before Your throne. Lord, Your Word declares that marriage is honorable and the bed undefiled, but outside of that covenant, intimacy is sin. We ask for Your forgiveness where lines have been crossed, and we pray for repentance and restoration to purity. Father, we rebuke the spirit of pride and hardness in ’s heart. Soften him, Lord, and let Your Holy Spirit convict him of his mistreatment of . Break the influence of ungodly voices in his life and replace them with Your truth.

We pray for ’s heart as well, comfort her in her pain, but also give her the strength to release this relationship if it is not Your will. Guard her from bitterness and help her to trust in You alone. If there is a future for them, let it be built on Your foundation, with repentance, humility, and a commitment to marriage. But if this is not Your plan, give her the courage to walk away and the faith to believe You have something better.

Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We bind every spirit of division, confusion, and unforgiveness, and we loose Your peace, wisdom, and healing in this situation. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to seek wise, biblical counsel from a pastor or mature Christian couple who can help you navigate this with godly wisdom. If this man is unwilling to repent and pursue marriage, you may need to step away for your own spiritual and emotional well-being. Remember, your worth is found in Christ alone, not in this relationship. Trust Him to lead you, even when the path is painful.

We hear the heartbreak in your words, . When someone you love treats you with harshness and indifference, the pain cuts deep, especially when it feels undeserved. The weight you’ve carried since June is real, and we’re sorry you’ve had to walk through it so alone.

It’s not wrong to long for him to see clearly, to hope for a fresh start built on something stronger. But while you focus on that hope, your own heart needs care too. When a relationship leaves you traumatized, your first responsibility is to let God stabilize you, even if the other person never changes. That isn’t giving up; it’s refusing to let another’s pride keep bruising your soul. You are worth far more than being treated harshly day after day.

We’d gently encourage you to find a trusted, spiritually wise person, perhaps a pastor or a mature friend, who can walk with you through this, not just to pray for the relationship, but to help you process the pain and discern healthy next steps. It’s hard to think clearly when you’re emotionally exhausted, and you don’t have to figure this out by yourself.

Right now, give your heart room to breathe. You can keep praying for his heart to soften, God can do that, but also ask for the strength to set whatever boundaries you need to protect your own well-being.

Father, thank you that you are close to the brokenhearted. Wrap in your comfort right now. Give her clarity and wise counsel so she doesn’t have to carry this alone. In your perfect timing, if it be your will, open ’s eyes to the harm he’s caused and lead him toward true humility. But above all, guard her heart and mind, and let her know she is deeply loved by you. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Heavenly Father,

I lift this person before You, knowing that You see every hurt, every tear, and every burden they are carrying. Lord, You are close to the brokenhearted, and I pray that You would surround them with Your love, comfort, and peace during this painful season.

If it is Your will, soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth. Remove any pride, confusion, or outside influences that are keeping him from showing kindness, compassion, and understanding. Give him wisdom to recognize where he has fallen short and the humility to seek forgiveness where it is needed.

Father, if this relationship is according to Your perfect plan, I pray that You would bring healing, restoration, and reconciliation. Help them build a relationship founded on love, honesty, grace, and You. But above all, let Your will be done, and give them both the strength to trust Your timing and Your purpose.

Fill this person’s heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Replace fear, sadness, and anxiety with hope and confidence in Your promises. Remind them that they are deeply loved by You and that You will never leave nor forsake them.

In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen. 🙏❤️

The wound of a broken heart is no light thing; it makes the whole spirit to bleed, and the nights to be long with weeping. Yet it is for such as you that the Savior came, for the Spirit of the Lord was upon Him to bind up the broken-hearted. He whose own heart broke on Calvary for the redemption of sinners knows well the pang of a soul in deepest anguish, and He has stooped to you with the balm of His grace.

You cry out for the man who is deaf to your sorrow, that he might be given a realization of his wrong. There is hope in that, yet I must speak plainly: be not content with a repentance that is born of temporary terror or the pricking of an uneasy conscience, for that is a thing of the flesh, a flower that blooms at night and withers in the sun. True repentance is not a mere wringing of the hands, but a turning of the whole man from darkness to light, a loathing of the sin because it is sin against a holy God, and a cleaving to Christ with a faith that produces a new hatred of evil. It is a broken and a contrite heart that God will not despise, not the sorrow of a wounded pride that lasts only until the affliction is removed.

You have asked for the bones which are broken to be made to rejoice. That is the Lord’s own work, and He often does it through a deeper work of grace. If this man’s heart is to be truly changed, it must be by the Spirit’s conviction; mere pressure from without will only harden. Beware, then, of seeking the restoration of an earthly bond upon any terms save those that glorify the Most High. If the foundation be not laid in a common fear of the Lord and a mutual subjection to His will, the rebuilt structure will be but a broken column still.

I bid you carry your own sorrow to the pierced heart of Jesus. There, and there alone, is the true healing for a wounded spirit. He may be using this season of darkness to draw you closer to Himself, to break the frivolity of your heart, and to teach you that His love is better than all human affections. The Lord is near to them that are of a broken heart, and He saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

Pray, then, not only for the mending of a relationship, but that the God of all grace would grant both of you that repentance which is unto life, wrought by the Spirit through the blood of the cross. And if, in His sovereign mercy, He shall be pleased to make that broken bond to bloom again upon a sure foundation, you shall give Him all the praise. But if He see fit to withhold it, trust Him still, for He doth all things well. The broken heart that lies low at His feet shall never be utterly cast down.
