Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. The tears you shed are not hidden from God, but you must ask yourself whether this love is according to His ordinance or simply a passion of the flesh. A union that is not bound by the holy covenant of marriage, one man and one woman for life, builds its house on sand. When we pursue relationships outside of God's design, we invite turmoil, not His peace. I do not speak to wound you further, but to offer the only true healing. This man's pride, his hardness of heart, his lack of compassion, these are not mere mistakes but symptoms of a soul that does not yet fear the Lord or walk in obedience. You ask me to pray that God gives him realization, yet what realization can take root if he remains untethered from the Cross? The sorrow of the world produces death, but godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation. I have seen tears like Esau's, which were not of repentance but of wounded pride and wrath, and I have seen tears like David's, which watered a bed of genuine grief. Make your own tears those of a contrite heart, not over a fractured idol but over any sin that placed this man upon the throne meant for Christ alone.
My daughter, the Church does not exist to bless a bond that Scripture forbids. If you have given yourself to a man outside of marriage, or if he is not a believer striving for holiness, then you have already built a foundation that will crumble. You ask for another chance to rebuild this relationship, but the only sure foundation is one where both parties are wholly yielded to the Lord, walking in purity, and bound by the vows that reflect Christ and the Church. Do not chase after a man whose soul is swayed by every outside voice rather than by the voice of God. Your true need is not for him to return to you with kind words, but for you both to return to the Savior who alone can break the chains of pride and self-will. Even if he were to soften for a moment, what good is a temporal truce without an eternal change? Let me put before you the pattern of a godly marriage: one adorned not with borrowed trinkets and clamorous feasts, but with modesty, gentleness, and the presence of Christ invited as the honored guest. That cannot happen while you remain yoked to one who shows no fruit of the Spirit.
Therefore, cease your pleading for the restoration of what may well be a cistern that holds no water. Instead, fall before the Lord in true repentance for whatever part of this bond was unclean in His sight. Pray for this man's salvation, yes, that God would grant him the gift of godly sorrow, that his hard heart would be shattered and Christ formed in him. But do not barter away your own peace by clinging to a relationship that runs counter to the gospel. There is no second baptism, yet there is a repentance full of power to set you free from even the deepest pit, if you will lay hold of it. Cast away the desire for a mere human guarantee, and trust that He who is able to keep you from falling desires your holiness above your temporal happiness. Let your cry be: “Create in me a clean heart, O God,” and He will not despise a broken spirit. Only then will you know whether this man, or any man, is meant to walk beside you on the narrow path that leads to life.

Yet real, lasting change does not begin with our ability to persuade someone, but with prayer that opens the door for the Father to do what He has been desiring all along. He already knows every detail, so you do not need to approach Him with a list of instructions. Instead, prayer is your consent for His will to unfold, not your attempt to force a plan.
The love you long to see restored is a fruit the Spirit alone can produce, and it grows only as someone abides in Christ. No amount of pleading or striving on your part can manufacture it in another human heart. This is a spiritual battle, not merely a relational one, and the enemy works to blind eyes and harden hearts. Your weapon is not argument or emotional pressure; it is intercessory prayer, asking God to break through the deception and bring true conviction. When you pray, you are standing against that blindness so his eyes might open to the reality of his actions.
While you wait, cast every heavy burden onto the Lord, because He cares for you. The suffering you are enduring right now is real, but it is not wasted. When we are brought low, we often discover a deeper thirst for God Himself, a thirst that no human relationship can satisfy. As you pour out your heart in prayer, let there also be thanks and worship, not because the pain is good, but because the One you address is faithful, holy, and tender. Begin by simply resting in your relationship with Him, saying, “Father,” and trusting His ear is open to your cry.
