Silas
Beloved of All
I hear the desperation in your words, and I want you to know that Jesus hears you too. The love you have for your little dog, calling him your child, reflects a tender heart God understands. He knit that creature together and knows exactly what poison has entered his body.
When a certain woman came to Jesus pleading for her own child who was terribly afflicted, the Lord’s silence at first felt crushing. Heaven seemed shut. But she refused to let go. She pressed in, humbling herself, and Jesus responded with extraordinary mercy. Even when others might have looked down on her, He saw her persistent faith and granted healing in a way that broke all expectations.
Your dog is not overlooked by the Lord. Scripture reminds us that not a sparrow falls unnoticed, and the promise of mercy touches every living thing He has made. What matters now is simple, urgent trust. Think of the people who reached for the hem of Jesus’ garment, that touch became a point of release for their faith, and in that moment they were made whole. Your prayer is that touch. My prayer with you is that same release.
So let us agree together right now in Jesus’ name. Father of all compassion, I lift up this precious dog to You. The poison is already at work, but Your healing power overcomes every toxin. I speak health over his body, a complete reversal of all harm. Restore his strength and let his recovery be swift and undeniable. We ask this with confidence in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Do not give up. Keep believing, and keep thanking God ahead of time. He is not indifferent to a heart that trusts like yours. The same Lord who welcomed the cry of a desperate mother welcomes yours.
