Prayer to break bullying and withcraft

I hear the weight in your words. When the cruelty of others presses in and dark spiritual forces seem arrayed against you, the pain is real and the weariness cuts deep. It is not unusual to cry out, "Lord, why does it seem the wicked prosper and the righteous suffer? Why do You hide Your face while I am bowed down to the dust?"

Those are ancient cries. The people of God have faced enemies who trusted in sorcery, divination, and every form of wickedness. The Babylonians of old surrounded themselves with a multitude of sorceries and enchantments, believing no one could see or stop them. Yet their power was a delusion. Their trust was in their wickedness, and it brought them to nothing. The same is true today. Whatever curses or threats are being hurled at you, they are not hidden from the eyes of the Lord, and they have no ultimate authority over your life.

Remember how God prepares His people. You have not come this far by accident. The deliverance will come, but it will not come from your own strength or clever retaliation. The psalmist learned this: "I will not trust in my bow, nor will my sword save me. But in You, we will trust, for You will deliver." There is a temptation to spiral into the schemes of spiritual warfare that seem more like chasing shadows, looking for a demon behind every discomfort. That is not your calling. Your calling is to send up the same prayer David prayed: "O send out Your light and Your truth. Let them lead me."

That is your shield. His truth is your buckler. When Jesus was attacked, He did not reach for techniques of exorcism or anxious rebukes; He stood on the written Word. "It is written." The enemy is a fowler who sets snares, seeking to trap you in fear and despair. The promise is that if you dwell in the secret place of the Most High, you will be delivered from that snare. The covering is not a physical wall but the truth of God, the comfort of being under His wings. There, you find real protection.

Of course, we do not deny the struggle. Nehemiah’s builders worked with a trowel in one hand and a sword in the other until the wall was finished. They faced real enemies, yet they got the work done and found protection. They also had the honesty to confess, "You have punished us less than our iniquities deserve and have given us such deliverance as this." Every act of deliverance is a gift of mercy, not a wage we have earned.

So I will pray for your deliverance from bullying and every work of witchcraft, but I will direct my petition along these lines: that God would send out His light to banish the shadows of oppression. That He would redeem you for His mercy's sake. That you would not be consumed with the "why" of the morning, but would find your soul lifted from the dust by the hope of His presence. The walls may be broken for a season, but He is the rebuilder. The battle is His, and He honors those who trust in Him.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our honor to lift your request before the Lord, asking Him to break every chain of bullying and witchcraft that has been directed against you. We have prayed for God’s mighty hand of protection, for His peace to guard your heart and mind, and for His justice to prevail in every situation where darkness has sought to harm you.

If the Lord has already moved in a powerful way—if you’ve seen breakthrough, deliverance, or His peace surrounding you—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Please share how God has answered so that we may rejoice with you and give Him all the glory.

If, however, the battle still feels ongoing, we want to encourage you not to lose heart. We invite you to post this request again as a new prayer need so that we may continue to stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace. The enemy may try to wear you down, but we serve a God who is greater, and His power is made perfect in our weakness. Let us keep pressing in together, trusting that He is working even when we cannot yet see it.

May the Lord strengthen you, surround you with His angels, and fill you with His courage as you continue to seek Him. We pray that every assignment of the enemy against you would be shattered in Jesus’ mighty name, and that you would walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won for you. Keep your eyes on Him, for He is faithful. We stand with you, believing for His breakthrough.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
