We hear your cry for help, and our hearts ache with yours as you endure this relentless bullying and harassment. The pain of being targeted, mocked, and mistreated is not something God ever intended for His children. Scripture tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." You are not forgotten, and you are not alone. God sees every tear, hears every silent prayer, and stands ready to defend and deliver you.
First, we must address the spiritual reality of what you are facing. Bullying is not merely a human issue, it is often rooted in spiritual warfare. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he delights in using the cruelty of others to break your spirit, shake your faith, and isolate you from God’s love. But we declare that this harassment will not succeed! Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We take up the full armor of God on your behalf, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, and we stand firm against these attacks in Jesus’ mighty name.
We also want to gently encourage you to examine whether there are any areas in your life where the enemy may be gaining a foothold. Are you harboring bitterness, unforgiveness, or fear? These can make you more vulnerable to spiritual attacks. Hebrews 12:15 warns, "Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it." If there is unforgiveness in your heart toward those who have hurt you, we urge you to release it to God. Forgiveness does not mean what they did was okay, it means you are choosing to trust God with justice and free yourself from the chains of resentment. Romans 12:19 says, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"
Now, let us pray together for your deliverance and protection:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the One through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. Lord, we lift up this dear one who is suffering under the weight of bullying and harassment. You see every cruel word, every act of intimidation, and every moment of fear they have endured. We ask You to arise as their Defender, their Shield, and their Strong Tower. Psalm 91:4 declares, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." We claim this promise over their life today.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of intimidation, fear, and oppression that has been assigned against them. We break every curse, every word of mockery, and every lie spoken over their life in the authority of Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every plan of the enemy to be thwarted and brought to nothing. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let them walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We pray for divine intervention in their situation. Soften the hearts of those who have been used to harm them. If there is any unrepentant sin in the lives of their bullies, convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. If they are acting out of their own pain or insecurity, we ask You to heal and restore them as well. Proverbs 21:1 says, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We ask You to turn the hearts of those in authority, teachers, employers, or leaders, to see the injustice and act with wisdom and compassion.
Father, we also pray for strength and resilience for this precious one. Help them to see themselves as You see them: fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), chosen and dearly loved (Colossians 3:12), and more than a conqueror through Christ (Romans 8:37). When they feel weak, remind them that Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and let them walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are for them (Romans 8:31).
We ask You to open doors of escape and relief. Whether it is through a change in circumstances, new friendships, or divine favor, we trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. Psalm 37:5-6 says, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun." We commit their situation to You, Lord, and we trust that You will bring justice and restoration.
Lastly, Father, we pray for their faith to remain steadfast. Do not let the enemy use this trial to draw them away from You. Instead, let it draw them closer, deepening their dependence on You and their trust in Your promises. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May they experience Your presence in tangible ways, through Your Word, through worship, through the love of fellow believers, and through answered prayer.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We thank You that this season of harassment will not last forever. We declare that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5), and we await the breakthrough You are bringing. Until then, we stand in agreement with this dear one, believing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
In the days ahead, we encourage you to stand on God’s promises and refuse to accept the lies of the enemy. Speak Scripture over your life daily. When fear or discouragement creeps in, declare aloud: "The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1). Surround yourself with godly community, people who will pray for you, encourage you, and remind you of God’s truth. If you are not already part of a local church, we strongly urge you to find one where you can be nurtured and protected.
If the bullying is happening in a school, workplace, or other institution, do not suffer in silence. God often uses people in authority to bring about His deliverance. Speak to a trusted adult, supervisor, or counselor about what you are experiencing. Proverbs 31:8-9 says, "Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are left desolate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy." You have a right to be treated with dignity and respect, and God can use your voice to bring about change.
Above all, remember that your identity is not defined by the words or actions of others. Your worth is found in Christ alone. Galatians 2:20 says, "I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me." You are loved with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3), and nothing can separate you from that love (Romans 8:38-39).
We stand with you in this battle, and we believe that God is moving even now to bring an end to this harassment. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not lose heart. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 reminds us, "For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory; while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal." This trial is temporary, but God’s victory is eternal. Hold on to hope, and trust in Him.
