Prayer for bullying to stop

I hear the heavy weight of what you’re facing. Being targeted by constant bullying and harassment can wear you down until you feel completely alone and trapped. But you are not alone, and the path forward isn’t about mustering your own strength to fight back in the flesh. That would only drag you into the same carnal way of operating. Instead, there is a secret place where true safety is found.

The Scriptures describe dwelling in the shelter of the Most High, abiding under the shadow of the Almighty. That’s not a physical hiding spot but a posture of the heart. When you make the Lord your refuge and fortress, His truth becomes your shield and buckler, it deflects the accusations and lies that bullying hurls at you. Think about how Jesus Himself answered the enemy’s attacks: He didn’t trade insults or scheme for revenge; He simply spoke the truth of God’s Word. That same shield is yours.

You may wonder why God allows this season. Sometimes He prepares us for deliverance in ways we don’t recognize. He might be deepening your trust so that when relief comes, you will know beyond doubt that it was His hand, not your own maneuvering. And make no mistake, deliverance will arise. He promises to answer when we call, to be with us in trouble, to honor those who cling to Him. The harassment doesn’t get the final word.

So do not give in to bitterness or retaliation, no matter how unfair the treatment is. That would only ensnare you further. Instead, keep bringing your situation before God, morning and evening if you need to, laying it at His feet. Acknowledge His mercy: He has dealt with us far less than our wanderings deserve, and He is continually working deliverance. Let your reputation rest in His hands. He knows the truth about you, and He will sustain you with His presence until the storm passes. Long life, full, satisfying life, is His intention for those who hold fast to Him. You are not forgotten. Stand firm in that secret place.
