Pray for our family

pray for ### and ###. Pray to bring our family back together. After depression, stress and anxiety and a family tragedy. Please pray for ### to come back home and to be a family again. Pray she lets her walls down and to let my love back into her heart and know its true and for us to be a stronger loving couple for our family and kids. Pray for strength and patience to work through things and for us to have the courage to never give up on each other and to always be the best that we can for each other and our family.

We lift this family before the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing the pain of separation and the weight of grief, depression, and anxiety. The desire to be reunited as a family is beautiful and honorable, for Scripture tells us, "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1). We pray that God Himself would rebuild what has been broken, restore what has been lost, and heal what has been wounded.

First, we must address the foundation of this request. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is only in His name that we can come boldly before the throne of grace (John 14:6, Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so, for He is the Prince of Peace and the Great Physician who binds up the brokenhearted (Isaiah 61:1). Salvation comes through no other name, and it is by His power that true restoration is possible.

Now, we turn to the Lord on behalf of this family. Heavenly Father, we ask You to soften hearts that have grown hard, to lift the burdens of depression, stress, and anxiety that have weighed so heavily. We rebuke the spirit of division and despair in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray for to release the walls she has built, not out of pressure or manipulation, but because Your love is drawing her home. Lord, let her feel the depth of true, selfless love, love that is patient, kind, and keeps no record of wrongs (1 Corinthians 13:4-5). May she recognize the sincerity of this love and be willing to rebuild trust, step by step.

We also pray for strength and wisdom for this family. Marriage is a covenant, not just between two people, but before God, and it is meant to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:25). If there has been sin, whether in words, actions, or unfaithfulness, we urge repentance and forgiveness. Confess to one another, pray for one another, that you may be healed (James 5:16). Do not let bitterness take root, for it only leads to destruction (Hebrews 12:15). Instead, choose humility, choose grace, and choose to fight for this marriage, not against one another.

Father, we ask for courage to never give up. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things (1 Corinthians 13:7). When the road is hard, remind this family that You are their strength. When patience wears thin, remind them that Your timing is perfect. When doubt creeps in, remind them that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun (Philippians 1:6). We declare that this family will rise stronger, more united, and more in love with You and with one another.

Lastly, we pray for the children in this family. Lord, shield their hearts from fear and confusion. Let them see their parents’ commitment to You and to one another, so they may grow up in the security of a home built on Your Word. May this family be a testimony of Your redeeming power, a light in a world that so often gives up.

We stand in agreement with this family, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

The ache of a fractured family is heavy, and we feel the weight of that longing in your words. It’s clear you love your wife and children deeply, and the loss of togetherness, compounded by depression, anxiety, and tragedy, has left you exhausted. That kind of strain can make hope feel thin, and we want to simply sit beside you in this, as people who care and pray.

When a marriage is this bruised, the road back together often requires more than a partner’s patient love. Reconciliation is less a single breakthrough and more a slow, deliberate rebuilding of trust and safety, often with the help of others. You asked for strength and patience to work through things, and that’s exactly the kind of steady, long-haul courage that will be needed. While you wait for your wife’s walls to come down, one concrete step you can take right now is to secure support for yourself, someone who can walk with you, not as a fixer but as a steady presence. A pastor or a wise Christian counselor can help you process your own grief, anxiety, and the impact of that family tragedy, giving you a place to be honest and gain perspective. If the depression and stress have lingered, it may also be wise to talk with a doctor, not as a substitute for prayer but alongside it, as these weights can be both spiritual and physical.

For your wife, the pull toward home seldom comes through persuasion alone. Tend to your own heart and let God tend to hers, even as you remain a consistent, safe, and loving person. We won’t pretend that’s easy; it’s not. But you’re not meant to carry it in isolation.

Please know we are praying with you, not just for the outcome you long for but for you right now.

Jesus, you see this husband’s pain and his love for his family. Please meet him in his weariness. Guard him against despair. Grant his wife whatever healing and clarity she needs, and in your time, draw them back together, not just under one roof but into a stronger, loving union for their children. Give them both patience, wisdom, and the courage not to give up. We ask this in your name, trusting you with every step. Amen.

The cry of your heart rises before the throne, and He who counts the stars and heals the broken in spirit has gathered your tears into His bottle. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the very leaves, are for the healing of the nations, and of families, and of wounded hearts. In this dark hour, when depression gnaws and anxiety whispers its bitter fears, wear the flower called heart’s-ease in your buttonhole. Have that little bird in your bosom that sings sweetly of the love of God, for the very anxiety which arises through your difficulty unfits you to meet it. Roll the burden onto broader shoulders than your own.

Think upon the look that turned Peter’s heart to water and yet bound him forever to his Lord. When first I understood that the Lord looked on me with love in the midst of my sin, it did seem so wonderful. That glance said, “And yet I love you, Peter, I love you still. I cannot give you up.” So it is with your beloved. She has raised walls, but sharper than a sword is a look of love, more fierce than coals of juniper are the flames of love. The immutable love of Christ is that divine hammer which breaks the rock in pieces. Pray that His look would fall upon her, and her heart will be melted from its stony resolve. He who healed the palsied man spoke pardon and healing in one breath: forgiveness begets gratitude, gratitude creates love, and love brings forth holiness. Trust for that double miracle in your home.

Be steadfast in prayer, as Daniel, who with windows open toward Jerusalem knelt thrice daily, for his love to his God was part and parcel of himself. Better to pine with Lazarus than feast with Dives, for the love of God more than compensates for temporary disadvantages. God wants the love of your own heart now, be reconciled to His will in this season, and your peace shall be a quiet sermon to those who watch. Let not your spirit grow bitter; love lamenting is still love abounding, and love abideth constant to its objective, notwithstanding all the provocations which have grieved it. Wear out the devil by patience; show your love by joying in your Lord, for He joys in you. Your little children see your faith, let them see a father who, though bowed, does not break.

He has committed unto us the word of reconciliation, and we know it is so, for we have felt it. The day shall come when this winter is past, and the flowers appear on the earth. Go with courage, never give up on each other, for love never falleth. And when she returns, you shall both love Christ better than ever, having had much forgiven, and break your alabaster boxes together upon His blessed feet. The Sun of Righteousness rise upon you with healing in His wings, and perfect restoration be the portion of your house.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

God is able to restore what grief and anxiety have broken, and I will pray for the healing of your family. I will ask Him to lift the weight of depression and stress, to comfort your children, and to bring peace where tragedy has left confusion. More than a return of feelings, pray for the Lord to break down the wall between each of you and Christ. He came out to us while we were still far off to bring us into the Father's house, and true reconciliation begins there.

I will pray for strength and patience for you, and for courage not to give up on what is right. Persevere in prayer, but not with pressure or bitterness. Even the Canaanite woman received by persevering though she was unworthy. Examine your own part in the breach, repent where you have failed, and pursue peace with all men and holiness.

If she is your wife, then I will ask God to restore your marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and to make it stronger through this trial. But I cannot ask God to bless a return that would mean living together outside marriage or any union He has forbidden. Pray that her heart softens, that your love is proven by faithfulness and patience, and that your home is rebuilt on obedience to Jesus Christ alone. May God guard your children and give you the endurance to wait on Him.

God is not standing far off from what your family is walking through. He sees the depression, the stress, the anxiety, and the grief, and he is not ashamed to draw near. The Scriptures show a Savior who was moved with compassion for people whose suffering had cut them off from others. He touched a man no one would touch and made a way for him to be restored. He healed a woman who had been isolated for years, and he gave her back her place among her people and before God. He did not wait for her to make herself clean. He reached her in her need.

Right now much of this feels like waiting and longing. But do not believe the thought that your marriage is beyond hope or that you have failed too many times. The Lord knows your frame. He remembers that you are dust. His mercy is not built on your ability to hold things together but on his Son. Jesus Christ is the one provision God has made for our sin and for every broken place it leaves behind. So keep bringing your wife, your children, and your own heart to him. Ask him to do what only he can do, to soften what has hardened, to calm what is anxious, to heal what is wounded, and to draw her home not by pressure but by his grace.

Pray also for your own part. Ask for the patience that does not demand its own timetable, for the strength to keep loving without becoming bitter, and for the courage to stay tender toward your wife even while the distance remains. That is not weakness. It is the shape of Christ's love for us. He did not let go of us because we failed. He bore our sin and drew near. Let that be the ground of your hope, not your own performance.

And do not walk through this alone. The Lord joins his people to one another in a bond that can carry what natural family ties cannot. Let other believers pray with you and hold you up when your own strength runs low. God can redeem what feels ruined. He has always been able to bring restoration through what seems unlikely to us. He is still able.

May the Lord give you humility where there has been hurt, gentleness where there has been fear, and steady faith to keep entrusting your family to him. May he open a door for genuine healing and restore your home in his time, so that your marriage becomes a place where your children see faithfulness, forgiveness, and the love of Christ.

Father, you see this husband and this wife. You know every wound, every fear, and every wall. Have mercy on this family. We ask you to bring this wife home, not by force but by the pull of your kindness. Break through what depression and grief and anxiety have built. Let love be received again, and let this couple be made stronger through your grace. Give them patience, give them courage, and give them a renewed commitment to their children and to one another. Do what only you can do, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
