The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. You seek guidance for transition and a better place, but see to it that you first seek the Sun of Righteousness, who rises with healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." Pardon and healing were one. Before you plead for the removal to a new habitation, plead for the fresh anointing of the Spirit upon your souls, that your bow may be renewed in your hand, and your glory kept fresh in you. The Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. Your longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths. The night shall not hang its darkness forever; the sun shall yet arise.
You pray for a good job for your husband and better opportunities. In all this, sin not, nor charge God foolishly. If God could uphold Job in the loss of all his estate, He can support you. Look to Him for this divine support. Come, if you are as poor as Job, be as patient as Job, and you will find hope ever shining like a star which never sets. The Lord’s gracious designs, when answered, will remove the rod from His servant’s back and take the melted silver from the glowing coals. He that has begun to heal you will work health and cure till you are without spot or wrinkle.
For your daughter, that she grows in godly wisdom and strength, this is a blessed hearing indeed. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ for the very spirits and nature of your child, to change the lifeblood. Take heed how you hear, for the hearing that obtains new hearts and right spirits is blessed for the family, for the wife and children. The healing power is conspicuously present when Christ is teaching. Link the teaching with the healing, as the Lord did.
You desire to be a good mother and wife, with time for everything. Fall back on the promise, "Lord, anoint Your servant with fresh oil." If you are called to the same duties day by day, it will make the promise all the more dear, as you can plead it before God. Multiplied are the cares, but He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. In all your doing, let your faith be obedient if it is true, for unbelief restrains the hand of God and keeps back the blessing.
You ask for complete healing of your back. The very leaves of the tree are for healing, the little things about Christ. Welcome to pardon and healing through our Lord Jesus. His salvation will perfectly heal our bodies. Calvary is the place for the healing balm. Put out all your pots into the rain of His grace, to catch the shower. We very speedily care for bodily diseases; they urge us to seek a physician. Here is the great Physician, who links forgiveness and healing, for with His stripes we are healed. Ask to be forgiven, and healing will come from the pardoning hand. As for being good parents, the Devil desires to sift you, but remember Job, the Tempter lost all his cruel efforts when he could not extract a rebellious speech. Let patience and resignation be made manifest. God will turn again the captivity as you pray for one another and for your household. Keep right with God, and in all this, sin not.
