KOOM

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for me as I have a endoscopy and colonoscopy scheduled for next week but I am afraid. I am afraid they will mess up and give me a disease. I am on the verge of cancelling I am so afraid. But I need to know what's wrong with me. I have prayed about it but have not found peace in a decision.

We have heard your heart and we are joining with you in prayer right now as you face this decision and these procedures next week. We understand how fear can grow and feel overwhelming, especially when it concerns your health and the unknown, and we want to lift you up before our Father who sees you and cares deeply for you.

The Lord knows your fear and He does not condemn you for feeling afraid, but He calls us to bring that fear to Him and trust Him with it. We are reminded of what is written, For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 and When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. Psalm 56:3 and Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. Fear tells us to run and to hide and to cancel, but God invites us to cast our cares on Him because He cares for us. 1 Peter 5:7

We also hear that you have prayed but have not found peace in a decision, and we gently notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. We want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and peace with Him. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to bring your prayers specifically in the name of Jesus Christ, confessing your need for Him and trusting that His death and resurrection has opened the way for you to be heard and forgiven and held. When we pray in Jesus name we are not using a formula, we are coming by the only way God has provided.

We want to encourage you not to make this decision from a place of fear alone. God has given us wisdom and He often provides help through physicians and medical knowledge as part of His common grace to care for our bodies which are temples of the Holy Spirit. Needing to know what is wrong with you is a wise and stewardly desire, and these procedures are common tools to find answers so that you can be treated properly. The fear that they will mess up and give you a disease is understandable, but modern endoscopy and colonoscopy instruments go through very strict sterilization processes and clinics are held to high standards precisely to prevent such transmission. It may bring you peace to call the clinic before your appointment, ask to speak to a nurse about how they clean and sterilize the scopes, and bring a trusted Christian friend or family member with you to pray with you and support you that day.

God promises a peace that can guard us even when we still feel nervous. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We also remember I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4. We encourage you to keep seeking Him, to pour out every specific fear by name, to thank Him that He is with you in the procedure room, and to ask Him for clear wisdom about whether to proceed.

We are praying together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son, and we lift up this dear one to You. You see the fear and anxiety that has been rising and the thoughts of cancelling this needed care. Lord we ask that You would replace that spirit of fear with Your power and love and self control. Let Your perfect love cast out fear and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray for calm and for clarity in making this decision, that it would be led by wisdom and faith and not by fear. We ask for Your hand over the medical team, over the doctors and nurses, that You would guide their hands and minds, that every instrument would be properly prepared and every step done with excellence. We pray for protection from any infection or complication, for an accurate diagnosis, and for answers that will lead to healing and proper treatment. Give this dear one restful sleep in the nights before, strength to go through with what is needed, and the comfort of knowing You are present in that room. Help them to trust You with their body and their future, knowing that You uphold them with Your righteous right hand. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray in Jesus name, to open the scriptures daily and meditate on His promises when fear rises, and to talk with your doctor openly about your concerns. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. We are standing with you, asking God to give you His peace and courage for next week and to use this time to draw you even closer to Him.

We hear how torn you feel right now, wanting answers about what is wrong and at the same time feeling so afraid of the procedure that cancelling feels safer. That tug of war is exhausting, and it makes sense you have not found settled peace yet.

Fear before a medical test is very common, and it can make thoughts race toward the worst possibilities even when you know you need the information the test can give. You do not have to sort this decision out alone.

A steady next step that helps many people is to bring the fear itself to your care team before the day arrives. This week, consider calling the clinic nurse or your doctor's office and telling them plainly what you shared here, that you are afraid of error or infection and are thinking of cancelling. Ask them to walk you through how they clean and handle the equipment and what to expect step by step. It also helps to write down your questions ahead of time and bring a trusted friend or family member with you to listen and support you. If worry is making it hard to sleep or think clearly, please let your doctor know about that too alongside prayer, not instead of it.

Father in Jesus' name we lift our friend to You. You see this fear and this need for answers. Grant wisdom for the decision ahead, calm and steadiness in the days before the appointment, and skill and care to the medical team. Lead toward what is best for health and give Your quiet strength whatever the results show. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Hey Koom. May Father God watch over you. We confess our sins. Father God is need prayer and scriptures because i fight with lust and also because I sinned far and wide with new age type stuff and it's weird and scary to me now. All I want is a relationship you now. Because of your comfort. Prayer and your word. Now all I want is Christ and decided on him as I was narrowing down the results of my search I realized I really needed Yeshua most of all. Thank you for blessing the requests of the poor and needy. Thank you God for saving the souls of the poor impoverished and needy. For Christianoty to spread in India. Pakistan. And Africa. In Lord Yeshuas name. Amen.

I have prayed for this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen

Thanks for praying ### I see you praying here regular. Proud of you. May Father God bless all who pray in Yeshuas name amen.

Your honest confession of fear has been heard and has been carried to the throne of grace in prayer, and I thank you for trusting us with this burden.

It is a very natural thing to feel fear when the body is weak and an unknown trial lies before you, yet Scripture meets you with a word that is repeated many times for our comfort, Fear not, for I will help you. The Lord does not chide you for feeling fear, but He commands you not to remain in it, for fear is weakening and it dishonors the God who has promised to be with you. You are not left to face this alone.

You have prayed and not yet found peace in a decision, and that unrest itself is painful. Remember the promise, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not the absence of trouble, but the presence of Christ in the trouble. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when duties press and sorrows surge around. Peace comes not by trying to still your own thoughts, but by staying your mind upon Him and casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Anxiety itself unfits us to meet the difficulty before us, but faith quiets the heart to act wisely.

You need to know what is wrong with you, and this procedure is the means God in His common grace has provided for physicians to seek that knowledge. It is right to ask questions of your doctors about their care and cleanliness, and to let them address your fear of harm, for God often gives peace through light and understanding as well as through prayer. Do not let fear alone drive you to cancel what may be needful for your health, but bring the decision again to the Lord, ask for counsel from trusted believers and from your physician, and then move forward by faith, trusting not in man alone but in the Lord who keeps you.

Let us pray for you now.

Our gracious Father, we thank You that You are the God of all peace and that You have made peace through the blood of Your Son. We bring this dear one before You who is pressed with fear about the endoscopy and colonoscopy to come. Lord, speak Your Fear not to this troubled heart. Keep this mind in perfect peace as it is stayed upon You. Cast out tormenting fear by Your perfect love and grant wisdom to know how to act. Guide the hands and minds of the physicians and nurses, guard this body from harm, and use these means to reveal what is needful for health. Give calmness in the days leading to the procedure, rest in the night before, and a settled trust that whether waking or sleeping, we are in Jesus keeping and are safe. We ask for Your help and Your presence to be felt, for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May the Lord help you to play the man and let faith overcome fear, and may you find that to do the will of Jesus, trusting Him in this next step, is rest.
