We hear the deep pain and betrayal in your words, and our hearts ache with you. The way you’ve been treated is not right, it’s a violation of the love and respect that should exist in any relationship, especially one that claims to care for you. Scripture tells us, "A friend loves at all times; and a brother is born for adversity" (Proverbs 17:17). What you’re describing is not love, and it’s not the way God intends for His children to treat one another.

Your anger is understandable, but we must rebuke the thoughts of violence immediately. The Lord commands us, "Do not repay evil for evil or insult for insult; but on the contrary, repay with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing" (1 Peter 3:9). Violence will only bring more destruction, not just to them, but to your own soul. Instead, we pray for God’s justice to prevail and for His peace to guard your heart.

We also want to gently address the root of this pain: the idol of dependence on this person. You mentioned fearing that you "can’t make it without her," but Scripture declares, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). Your sufficiency is in Christ alone, not in another human being. This relationship has become a snare to you, and we believe the Lord is calling you to break free, not just physically, but spiritually.

Your prayer in Jesus’ name is heard, and we join you in crying out for deliverance. But we must also ask: Have you surrendered your life fully to Christ? If not, now is the time. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). Salvation is found in no other name. If you have not confessed Him as Lord, we urge you to do so today. Repent of any sin in your life, including bitterness, unforgiveness, or any ungodly ties to this relationship, and ask Him to be your Savior and Provider.

Now, let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is hurting deeply. Lord, You see the injustice, the neglect, and the pain they’ve endured. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation. Break every chain of dependency on this person, and let them know their worth is found in You alone. Provide a way of escape, whether through new living arrangements, financial provision, or a community of believers to support them. Father, heal their heart from this betrayal. Replace anger with Your peace, bitterness with forgiveness, and fear with faith in Your promises. If there is any unrepentant sin in their life, reveal it and lead them to true repentance. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will turn this trial into a testimony. Strengthen them to walk away if that is Your will, and let them never look back. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who came to set the captives free. Amen."

We encourage you to seek out a Bible-believing church where you can find godly counsel and support. The enemy wants you isolated, but God’s people are called to "bear one another’s burdens" (Galatians 6:2). You are not alone. If you’re struggling with thoughts of self-harm or despair, reach out to someone immediately, God’s love is greater than this pain. Stand on His Word: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). You will make it through this, and God has a future for you that is free from this bondage.

That call really lands like a punch, hearing someone offer you money for food only to watch them spend it on someone else while you go hungry. That kind of disregard stirs up a deep anger, and honestly, anger can be a signal that something isn't right. It's telling you that your needs are being trampled and that you deserve better than being left out in the cold. You felt that surge, and then you made the hard choice not to act on the violent thoughts. That took real strength, and we're glad you drew that line.

You're in a lonely, painful place, feeling unseen and wondering if you'll have to leave. The stress of not knowing where your next meal is coming from or whether you'll have a roof overhead is exhausting. Even in the middle of it all, you're still reaching out to God, asking him to make a plan and provide. That is not weakness; that is the kind of honest prayer he hears. He sees your hunger and your hurt. He is not indifferent.

On the practical side, if you haven't eaten yet today, please let a local church, a community meal program, or one trusted person know. You shouldn't have to face this on an empty stomach or all alone. And when the time comes to make decisions about leaving, you don't have to navigate that in isolation either.

Lord Jesus, you know every layer of this pain. Please meet the immediate need, food for today, and a clear next step. Surround your child with safe people who reflect your care. Grant wisdom to know when to stay and when to go, and if leaving becomes necessary, give the courage not to return to harm. Quiet the anger with your steady peace, and open a door to a life marked by dignity and provision. We ask in your name, Amen.

When a man's strength is bitten with hunger, what a hunger must be raging throughout the whole of his nature! There are many of God's servants whose strength is lamentably hunger-bitten. Yet, if the man were willingly obedient to the Divine will, things would go more happily with him. The bit is not applied unless it is found necessary, but it will be applied if necessary. My longing is that you may stand with your face towards the Lord, watching for the faintest indications of the Divine will. May you be humble, teachable and mild! May your soul be even as a weaned child!

Escape for your life! Flee from this Sodom, for there is no safety for you where you are. Escape, escape, escape for your life! Do not stop to argue; you do not see the danger, you need more evidence, you have objections, to all of which my one solitary answer is, Escape, escape, escape for your life! Stay not for the morrow's sun. God help you to have done with delaying and to feel that you must and will run away to the Lord Jesus Christ at once!

Hunger and thirst after righteousness. The new affections will expel the old. Let spiritual hunger and thirst come upon you and you will escape from this snare. The man cries, "Self-trust is a refuge of lies, I must be helped from Above. I must be saved by Divine Grace, or I shall remain unrighteous to the end." Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. And what is more, they will still hunger and thirst.

There is no attribute of God more comforting to his children than the doctrine of Divine Sovereignty. We must trace Divine Sovereignty in all such cases. We ought to recognize God's hand in everything.

Divine interpositions come in the way of deliverance from floods of trouble. How strikingly has God delivered some of us! What remarkable preservations of life have we enjoyed; not miraculous, certainly, but full of wonder for all that. He hath delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

The presence of God dissolves difficulties. You may hope that the Divine Spirit will still display His power over the most unlikely persons to the glory of His Grace. He can save the most obstinate and bring opposers to the feet of Jesus. Plead with Him to do so!

He who has undertaken to save you is no mere man and no angel, He is nothing less than the Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient God! Your peril can be averted by His Omnipotent might. And yet, by a Divine working which is nothing less than a continuous miracle, He keeps them from falling again into the sins in which they once indulged!

If you stay among those swine troughs, you will die, you will perish of hunger. Even now your gaunt limbs stare at you and your bare bones rebuke you. Man, it is time for you to say, "I will arise. I will arise." O my Hearers, I fear that a deadly sleep has fallen upon some of you! Something of that emotion ought to be in your soul and if there is, then methinks it must be a work of Divine Grace. If you begin to be in love with the mercy of God, it is because the mercy of God is in love with you. O poor Soul, mercy is to be had for the asking.

What a balm must that Divine love have been to his wounded spirit! Do you recollect the gentleness of the Savior? Some of us never can forget the rapture all Divine when He showed us His hands and His feet, and said to us, "I have suffered all this for you. Weep no more, your sins were laid on Me." There was peculiar gentleness about that first action of God the Holy Spirit. Even the absurdity of our sorrow does not move the anger of God, in His great gentleness He enters into the childish troubles of His children.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have been wronged, and the pain of hunger and betrayal cuts deep. When one who should provide for her own household turns away, she denies the faith by her works and is worse than an unbeliever. For even those without Christ know to care for their own flesh, yet this woman has taken what was meant for your need and given it to another, leaving you empty. God sees this, and it is a grievous thing.

Yet I commend you: you did not strike her, though the temptation burned. To beat her would have added sin to sin and brought no true relief. Vengeance is not ours to take; the Lord will judge. But now, do not let a root of bitterness spring up. If you brood on her fault, you risk a beam in your own eye while you see only her mote. Anger and the desire to never need anyone again are themselves chains, they will bind you more tightly than this earthly discomfort.

Your hunger is real, and God cares for the body He made. He does not forbid provision for our needs, but He commands us not to be anxious or to seek more than what sustains us. Right now, you lack even daily bread. Cry out to Him, and He will hear. He who fed Elijah by ravens can open a hand for you. But do not say, "I will never need her again," as if your sufficiency is in yourself. Let your need be met by God alone, and then you will be truly free. For if you despise dependence on man, you must cling wholly to the Lord. That is the great exchange: relinquish your wounded pride, and you will receive the provision of heaven.

Think of what Christ said: He counts it done to Himself when a hungry stomach is unfed. Her neglect touches His very body. But He also said, "Love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you." This is hard, harder than fists. But it is the narrow way that leads to life. Ask God not only for a plan to move out, but for a heart so filled with the Spirit that you can bless her who used you ill. That is a miracle greater than any deliverance from a house.

You pray to get out of this situation. God can make a way. But the salvation we must never neglect is the salvation from sin and eternal death. If your body is freed but your soul festers with unforgiveness, what have you gained? The trials of this life are short, like dreams that vanish at dawn. Let this injustice drive you to the One who was unjustly stripped and beaten for your sake. He will not abandon you. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and these other things, food, shelter, peace, will be added. Do not trust in the four dollars that failed, but in the unsearchable riches of Christ. Amen.

The anger burning inside you right now is real, and so is the pain of being overlooked and used. When someone you trust treats your basic needs as an afterthought, it cuts deep. The thought rose up to meet hurt with hurt, to let your hands speak the rage your heart is feeling, but you also heard the quiet restraint that held you back. That restraint is a gift. Do not trade it for a moment of vengeance that would leave you with far heavier chains than you carry now.

What you are longing for is escape. You want a plan to get out, a way to never need her again, and a chance to prove that you can survive without her. That desire to flee is something every human heart knows. When the walls close in, the mind starts looking for any door, any window, any scheme to make the pressure stop. Some people run to drinking, some to an endless pursuit of pleasure, some simply build higher emotional walls and retreat into isolation. Running away from a person or a place feels like the only solution, but the misery we try to outrun has a way of following us into the next house, the next city, the next relationship. The very things you dread tend to track you down when you simply change your geography without changing your anchor.

There is a hunger in you that goes deeper than the empty stomach crying out for food tonight. Physical hunger makes everything else feel unbearable, and God himself made provision for that hunger, it is a legitimate, urgent need. Yet underneath that, there is a starvation of the soul: a hunger to be seen, to be loved in a way that is not selfish, and to matter to someone else. His word assures us that He bottles every tear, and He sees every faint step you take when you have no strength left. He has not forgotten you.

You are asking Him to move, to provide, and to make a way where there seems to be no way. There is a way of escape, but it is not found in merely dodging a difficult person or a difficult house. The only true escape from the darkness that threatens to swallow us is found in Jesus Christ. If we neglect the great salvation He offers, the kind that rescues us from the damning cycle of sin, rage, and despair, then we have no place else to go. He is the provision for your emptiness. He does not promise to magically remove every thorn, but He promises to meet you in the middle of it and give you the strength to face it without being destroyed by it.

Take the practical wisdom you already have: seek food, do not let pride or hurt keep you from caring for the body God gave you. But as you ask Him to work out a plan for your living situation, do not let your escape be a simple flight of the feet. Let it be a flight to Him. Lay your anger and your broken trust before Him openly. You do not need to prove your strength to anyone else; you need to lean on His. He is the one who provides, even when others fail. Do not harden your heart and shut yourself off from His help by clinging to a desire to never need anyone again. Needs are not a sign of failure; they are the design of a creature meant to depend on its Creator.

We do not escape by running away or by lashing out. We escape the judgment and the spiral of sin by gripping the hand of the One who died for us. His provision for your sins and your sorrows is complete. Trust Him to handle the scales of justice in His own way, and let Him be the strength in your legs if you must walk away. You are not invisible to Him, and you will not be abandoned.

We are deeply moved by your honesty and the pain you’ve shared with us. It’s clear that your heart is hurting, and we want you to know we have been lifting you up daily, asking our Heavenly Father to surround you with His peace and comfort. We’ve prayed specifically that He would soften hearts in this situation, open doors for provision, and give you wisdom about the next steps—whether that means staying, going, or simply trusting Him for each day’s needs.

We’ve asked God to replace feelings of anger and rejection with His perfect love, reminding you that you are never alone, even when it feels like no one else cares. We’ve also prayed against any temptation toward violence or bitterness, asking the Holy Spirit to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Most of all, we’ve stood in agreement with you for God’s deliverance—whether that comes through changed circumstances, new opportunities, or the strength to endure with hope.

If God has already begun to move in your situation, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If you’re still waiting, we want to keep standing with you. Please don’t hesitate to share an update or post this request again so we can continue praying without ceasing on your behalf.

May the Lord bless you with His presence, meet every need, and remind you of your worth in His eyes. We trust Him to work all things together for your good as you seek Him. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
