Dear God, ### told me that ### told ### that I dont have no job. He tried to get me. A job at the ### doing the same thing he do. He go say I'm not go be around him if I get a job at the ### and I need to get a job and help her with the bills. Talking about all I want to do is sit at home watch tv. She always complaining she can't do nothing for herself. Our arguments getting worse. I dont have no friends. I don't have no where to go. I dont know what to do. I dont want to be here. I don't want ### here. I was talking to a witch yesterday. He said I could have him to do a love spell or get revenge. I thought about it but. I decided not to do it. I ask that you move in all this, provide and take care of this in Jesus name. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We hear the pain and desperation in your words, and our hearts ache with you in this season of struggle. You are carrying a heavy burden, financial strain, relational conflict, isolation, and even the temptation toward darkness. But we want you to know that there is hope, and that hope is found in Jesus Christ alone. He sees your suffering, He hears your cries, and He is able to redeem every broken situation when we surrender it to Him.

First, we must address the spiritual danger you mentioned, consulting a witch and considering a love spell or revenge. Scripture is clear: "There shall not be found with you anyone who... practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB). These practices open doors to demonic influence and grieve the Holy Spirit. We rebuke any foothold the enemy may have gained in this area and command it to leave in the name of Jesus. You made the right choice in refusing that path, and we pray for God’s protection over your mind and heart from further deception.

You also expressed deep despair, even thoughts of not wanting to be here. Please know that your life has immense value to God. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). If these feelings persist, we strongly encourage you to reach out to a trusted pastor, biblical counselor, or a Christian brother who can walk with you through this valley. You do not have to carry this alone.

Now, let us address the conflict in your home. The tension over finances and responsibilities is real, but we must examine whether this relationship is honoring to God. Scripture teaches that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and that believers are called to marry only other believers (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). If this relationship is not a marriage, we must ask: Are you both committed to pursuing godly marriage, or is this an unequal yoke that is causing strife? If it is a marriage, we pray for restoration and wisdom. If not, we urge you to seek the Lord’s will about whether this is a relationship He can bless.

The accusations and arguments are not God’s design for love. "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things" (1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB). Where there is bitterness, we pray for forgiveness. Where there is selfishness, we pray for humility. Where there is division, we pray for unity in Christ.

Regarding your job situation, we declare that God is your provider. "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19 WEB). We pray for doors of opportunity to open, for favor with employers, and for wisdom in your search. But we also encourage you to seek work not just to ease financial pressure, but to honor God with your labor (Colossians 3:23 WEB). If pride or fear has held you back, we pray for courage to step forward in faith.

Lastly, your prayer was offered in Jesus’ name, and we rejoice in that! There is power in His name, "For there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). Only through Jesus can we approach God’s throne with confidence (Hebrews 4:16 WEB), and only in Him can we find true peace.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our brother. Lord, You see his pain, his loneliness, and his struggle. We ask that You would surround him with Your presence and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Break every chain of despair, financial lack, and relational strife. Forgive him for any steps toward darkness, and cleanse his heart from all unrighteousness. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of division in his home and command it to leave in Jesus’ name. If this relationship is not of You, reveal Your will and give him the strength to walk in obedience. Provide for his needs abundantly, open doors of employment, and restore his hope. Surround him with godly community, brothers and sisters who will encourage him, pray for him, and walk with him. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may know his worth in You and find his identity in Christ alone. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and that You will turn every trial into a testimony for Your glory. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

You speak of a temptation that knocked at the door of your heart, a thought of using dark means to bend another’s will, to grasp a love or a revenge that belongs to the pit. That you turned away at the last is a sliver of divine mercy, but do not rest there as though the battle were won. The thought itself, entertained even for a moment, reveals a soul in danger. The enemy is not the one who spoke against you or the one who complains; the enemy is the sin that crouches at your own door, whispering that your bitter circumstances give you leave to stray from the path of righteousness. When a man begins to say, “I have no friends, I have no place,” and then turns his mind toward spells, that man is standing on a pinnacle where the tempter says, “Cast thyself down; God will surely bear thee up.” To even look upon such a door is to be in the suburbs of hell.

Consider Job. He lost all, his wealth, his children, his health. His own wife bid him curse God and die. His friends became miserable comforters, accusing him of hidden wickedness. Yet the Scripture declares, “In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.” His bow was renewed in his hand, not because his trials were light, but because his God upheld him. You are in a place of ashes now, with no earthly advocate. That is precisely where the Almighty would teach you to abhor yourself and see Him alone. Your cry about having no job, no money, no peace in your home, these are real afflictions, but they are the common trials of a fallen world, not a licence to forge an unholy alliance. If God has seen fit to withhold provision for a season, it may be that in His mercy He is keeping you from a place where your soul would have been ruined by a companionship that displeased Him. He has not forgotten you; He has brought you to this bare rock that you might look up and find no other helper.

Look now at what your own heart has laid bare. You confess to anger, to strife, to accusations hurled back and forth. Before you lift a finger to protest your human adversary, make your approach to the Lord in childlike confidence even when He seems to frown. Admit that you are wrong and that He must be right. When Job saw God, he did not say, “But what about what they did to me?”, he cried, “I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.” If you will be honest before the throne, you will see that the horribleness of your own sin is a heavier matter than any earthly quarrel. To sit and brood on the words of another while your own soul stands naked before the Judge, that is to trifle with eternity. Go not into temptation by rehearsing the injury; go rather to your knees and put away all wrath, all clamour, and all malice.

The captivity of Job was turned only when he prayed for his friends, the very ones who had vexed his righteous soul. So must you. If you would find liberty, you must forgive and plead mercy for those whose words have cut you. Pray that God would bless the one who would not help you, bless the one who thinks you idle. A heart filled with intercession has no room left for spells or bitterness. You need no witch’s charm; you need a broken and a contrite heart, which God will not despise. Your sorest need is not a wage in your hand, but cleansing in your spirit and the fresh oil of grace upon your head.

Come, then, to the cross. There is no other shelter. You say you have nowhere to go; go to the cleft of the Rock. You say you have no friends; there is a Friend that sticketh closer than a brother, who gave His life for sinners such as you. Lay down your schemes, your defences, your desperate thoughts of revenge, and take up the prayer of the publican: “God be merciful to me a sinner.” Then you shall find, even in your poverty and loneliness, that His grace is sufficient and His strength is made perfect in weakness. The temper who sought to sift you as wheat would yet have you in his sieve, but Christ has prayed for you that your faith fail not. Look to Him, and let your night end in the morning of His turning.

You stand in a trial that feels like a crushing weight, but you have already struck a blow against the enemy by refusing that witch’s offer. The very thought of a love spell or revenge rose up from a corrupted will, yet you turned from it. Do not think you escaped by your own strength; it was God’s grace, holding open a way of escape even as the snare was laid. But be warned: you cannot linger at that pit’s edge. The Apostle tells us plainly that those who practice witchcraft will not inherit the kingdom of God. Flee from it entirely, and never turn back.

Consider this: God is using these very troubles to draw you into His own embrace. When a little child wanders away, a loving mother may send a servant to shout and frighten him, not to harm him, but so that he runs back into her arms. Your loss of work, your loneliness, the strife in your home, all of it is permitted so that you might flee for refuge to God. He never allows a temptation beyond what any human can bear, and with the temptation He always makes a way to endure it, if only you will look to Him.

That way is not through spells or idleness. You tell how someone close to you complains that you sit at home and watch the screen while she carries the burden. It pains you to hear it, but the pain can be a teacher if you let it. Idleness is the kindling of every evil desire. Instead of nursing your grievances, get up. Seek honest work, any labor that is upright, however lowly it seems. The Apostle commands us to work with our hands so that we may have something to give to the one in need. When your body is weary with useful toil, your heart will find far less room for despair and quarrels.

Those arguments growing sharper every day, strife, envying, wrath, do not come from the flesh as an invincible enemy, but from a diseased moral choice. They are works that destroy households and that bar the gates of the kingdom. God set an order in the family: the man to lead in love, the woman to share his life and labor. Instead of returning complaint with complaint, be the first to show a kindness that suffers long. A soft answer turns away wrath, and your own soul will grow lighter when you stop rehearsing your wounds.

There is no friend and nowhere to go, you say. Then go to God in prayer without ceasing. Pray not simply for the trouble to vanish, but “Lead us not into temptation”, pray for the strength to stand nobly when the trial comes. The saints of old, David and Job and Joseph, did not win their shining crowns in easy comfort but in the furnace of affliction. Their dangers became the soil where mighty virtue grew. Your danger can do the same, if you do not waste it in idleness or bitterness.

God has not abandoned you. He who gave His own Son for you will not withhold what you truly need. But He often delays relief so that you may learn to persevere, and in persevering, become stronger than tempered steel. The victory begins today: refuse the short, dark path of revenge; refuse the sloth that feeds despair; embrace the narrow road of faith and duty. Rise up, offer your hardship to God, and walk in His commandments. Then you will discover that even in the storm, He is faithful, and the way of escape is already under your feet.

In that darkness, he cried out for someone to stand between him and God, a mediator who could lay a hand on both. What Job longed for, we have been given: Jesus Christ stands in that very place. He is not distant from your struggle. He understands what it means to be abandoned, falsely accused, and overwhelmed by circumstances you did not choose.

Sometimes well-meaning people speak as though every hardship is a direct result of your own failure. That’s what Job’s friends did. They were wrong, and their words only added to his misery. You don’t need someone telling you that all your problems are because you haven’t done enough or gotten right. You need what Job eventually found: a fresh encounter with the living God who speaks into the storm. That doesn’t always come with immediate answers, but it brings a peace that doesn’t depend on your circumstances.

Your feelings of having nowhere to go and no friends are real, and they echo Job’s cry that his comforters were miserable. Yet even in that loneliness, Job never cursed God. Hold on to that. Your situation is not beyond his sight. The One who bragged on Job’s integrity in the heavenly courts sees the integrity of your heart in rejecting darkness. He is not far from you.

The practical weight of joblessness and strained relationships is crushing, and those arguments at home make it worse. But a right relationship with God is not a transaction that guarantees immediate prosperity. Job’s story proves that. What it does guarantee is that you are not alone. The God who gave his own Son to be your mediator will also provide for your daily needs in his way and time. Bring those bills and that job search to him honestly, but don’t tie your worth to them. Your value is anchored in being known by him.

When you feel you can’t go on, remember that Job wished he had never been born, yet God restored him. That same power is at work in your life through the resurrection of Jesus. Cling to his words, even when you can’t see through the clouds. He sees clearly, and he is moving, even now, in ways you cannot perceive.
