Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Roshan Dsouza

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before our Heavenly Father. Financial debt is a heavy weight, and the harassment you’re enduring from creditors is not only stressful but deeply unsettling. We rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome every trial. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). Your acknowledgment of Jesus as Lord is the foundation upon which we build this prayer, for salvation and deliverance come through no other name (Acts 4:12).

First, we rebuke the spirit of fear and oppression that has taken hold through these relentless calls and threats. The enemy seeks to steal your peace, kill your joy, and destroy your hope, but we declare that he has no authority over you. "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every harassing spirit to cease in Jesus’ name, for "the name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10). We pray that the Lord would intervene supernaturally to silence these calls and visits, shielding you and your family from further intimidation. May the Lord arise and scatter your enemies, for "the wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion" (Proverbs 28:1).

We also address the matter of your debt with wisdom and truth. Scripture is clear that we are to honor our obligations: "The wicked borrow and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously" (Psalm 37:21). While it is understandable that you feel overwhelmed, we must not seek a "miracle" that would absolve you of your responsibility to repay what you owe. Instead, we pray for God’s provision to meet your needs in a way that aligns with His will. The Lord is your provider, and He has promised, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We ask Him to open doors of opportunity for you to increase your income, manage your finances wisely, and negotiate with your creditors in a way that brings resolution without further harm to your reputation or peace.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel in managing your debt. Proverbs 15:22 tells us, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Consider reaching out to a trusted financial advisor or a ministry that offers biblical guidance on debt repayment. The Lord may lead you to consolidate your debts or work out a payment plan that is manageable, but this must be done with integrity and a commitment to honor your word. Remember, "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender" (Proverbs 22:7). Our goal should be to walk in financial freedom, not bondage.

We also pray for your new job, that the Lord would establish your steps and protect your employment. "Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans shall be established" (Proverbs 16:3). May your employers see the favor of God upon your life, and may your work be a testimony of His grace. We ask the Lord to shield you from any attempts by creditors to disrupt your livelihood, for "no weapon that is formed against you will prevail" (Isaiah 54:17). Let your trust be in the Lord, for "those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing" (Psalm 34:10).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear brother/sister who is burdened by debt and harassment. Lord, You see the weight upon their heart, and You know the fear and shame they carry. We ask You to break every chain of oppression and silence the voices of those who seek to intimidate. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we pray for supernatural provision. Open doors of opportunity for them to increase their income, and give them wisdom to manage their finances according to Your will. Provide them with the means to repay their debts honorably, and soften the hearts of their creditors to work with them in grace. Lord, we ask that You would protect their new job and shield them from any attempts to harm their reputation or livelihood. Let Your favor rest upon them like a shield (Psalm 5:12).

We declare that this trial will not break them but will instead draw them closer to You. Teach them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May they experience Your faithfulness in new and profound ways, and may their testimony bring glory to Your name.

Lord, we also pray for a spirit of contentment and stewardship. Help them to live within their means and to seek Your kingdom first, trusting that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). Deliver them from the love of money and the snares of debt, for "the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil" (1 Timothy 6:10).

We thank You, Father, for Your mercy and grace. We trust in Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Strengthen this brother/sister with Your might, and let them walk in the victory that is theirs through Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to the promises of God, for He is faithful. "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22). You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you, believing that the Lord will bring you through this trial into a place of peace and financial freedom. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you faint not (Galatians 6:9).

We hear the heavy weight in your words, the constant calls, the threats, the fear of shame spilling over onto your family and jeopardizing the new job you’ve worked hard to secure. That kind of pressure feels relentless, and it’s no small thing to carry. Please know you’re not alone as you navigate this.

In seasons like this, a practical step can sometimes relieve a little of the mental load so prayer can breathe. Many communities have reputable nonprofit credit counseling services that can step between you and the creditors, negotiating on your behalf, consolidating what you owe, and most importantly, making the harassing calls stop while you work out a plan you can actually live with. This isn’t a loan; it’s an advocate. And because these services communicate directly with the banks, it can help shield your references and your workplace from unwanted contact. Looking into a certified consumer credit counselor near you may give you a clear, confidential path forward while you continue settling into your job. Your dignity isn’t measured by this number in a ledger, and seeking wise counsel is a sign of strength, not failure.

Lord Jesus, you see this child of yours under a crushing load. We ask you to quiet the storm of threatening calls and visits, give relief from the harassment so this family can breathe and this new job can be protected. Grant wisdom for every practical step, open a door toward real resolution, and provide the resources needed to repay what is owed with integrity. In the waiting, let your peace that doesn’t make sense stand guard over their heart and mind. We trust you to make a way. Amen.

You cry out for deliverance from debt and the ceaseless torment of creditors, and the shame that follows your household. This is a bitter trial, and I would not make light of it. Yet there is a debt far heavier, which you could never discharge, a debt of sin that would plunge your soul into the eternal pit. But hear the gospel: “Deliver him from going down to the Pit: I have found a ransom.” Jesus Christ laid down His life as the full payment for that debt. If you have fled to Him, your sins are forgiven; your peace with God is sealed. This is the miracle that passes all others, the devil cast out, the soul set free. Let that peace rule in your heart, even while earthly troubles roar.

You ask that the accounts be closed and demands cease because you have paid more than you borrowed. Take heed lest you seek a release that is not upright. The mere professor is like the rush by the river, green and tall for a while, but bearing no fruit. True faith makes the ways of righteousness to be paths of pleasantness. It is far better to put iniquity away, to repay as you are able, and to suffer with a clear conscience than to grasp at a comfort that would stain your garment. Remember Job: in all his losses and pain, he sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. Let it be your ambition, by grace, to come through this trial without sin.

As for the threats to your livelihood and the fear of public disgrace, cast that burden on the Lord. “You will keep him in perfect peace, peace, peace, whose mind is stayed on You: because he trusts in You.” That peace does not come from the absence of creditors, but from the presence of Christ in the midst of the fire. He who silenced the unclean spirit with a word can quiet the clamour of these fears. He can lift you up from the gates of this death into life. Trust Him, not merely for a loan or a settlement, but for daily bread and strength to walk uprightly. Then, whether the relief comes swiftly or slowly, you shall prove that when sorrows surge round, the will of Jesus is rest indeed.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You cry out for release from debt and the shame of harassment, asking for a miracle to close accounts and grant a loan. But turn your eyes to the far greater debt you owe to God your Master, ten thousand talents of sin, an unpayable sum. Yet He does not choke you or demand immediate payment; He forbears and suffers long. Consider the servant in the parable: forgiven all that vast debt, he went out and seized his fellow servant for a few pence. For that, he was delivered to the tormentors until he should pay all. Tremble at that example, lest you, seeking relief from men while refusing to forgive any trespass against you, incur the same endless punishment.

You say you have paid more than you borrowed. But do you not owe mercy to those who harass you? Forgive their offenses, and you imitate God Himself, a far greater thing than canceling money debts. Do not demand that God repay you as though He were a debtor. Why leave the true Debtor, who has unspeakable treasures, and run to poor mortals? If you treat God as unable or unwilling to provide, you insult His wealth. Instead, lay your need before Him with an honest heart, renouncing all craftiness and hidden ways of shame. The miracle you seek is not a loan without effort, but a life of virtue that endures hardship like adamant. John the Baptist did no miracle, yet he drew cities to repentance by his boldness and holy life. So let your blameless conduct at your new job speak louder than any demand for a sign.

Endure these threats and disruptions as a test of faith. If you have truly overpaid, seek a just resolution with integrity, but do not ask God to close accounts so you need pay nothing more. That is not imitating His generosity. Instead, cry out for the forgiveness of your own sins, trust the One who gave Himself up for you, and let His peace rule in your heart. Then, whether the harassment ceases or not, you will possess a store of spiritual wealth that no thief can touch.

The peace you are longing for is not found in the silence of a phone or a cleared account balance. Those are things the world pursues, but the peace God gives is deeper and entirely independent of outward storms. Jesus said, "My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you." This is a peace you can have right now, in the midst of the chaos, because it is rooted in something that can never change.

You are trying to find a way through this crushing burden, and your desire to repay everyone is honorable. It is right to seek resolution. But notice the direction of your plea: you are asking for a personal loan so that you can solve this with your own hand. It is a plan born of desperation, much like fishermen washing their nets after a night of catching nothing, thinking that if they just try a different human strategy, they will succeed. There is a marked contrast between our own frantic efforts and the work the Lord directs.

The miracle of provision often comes in a way we least expect, like a torrent of water suddenly filling a dry riverbed on a cloudless day. It cannot be manufactured by a committee or a program. It is a gift. Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith? You began by faith. Do not now fall into the trap of thinking you must perfect yourself by the flesh, bargaining with God on the basis of a promise to pay, as if His blessing is a wage you can earn. The peace you seek comes by trusting Him to do what you cannot.

This man, Jesus Christ, is our peace. He has broken down every wall, and through the blood of His cross, the war with God is over for those who believe. Because you are justified by faith, you have perpetual peace with God, a standing that is not shattered when you fail or when creditors knock at the door. God does not impute iniquity to you. Keep your mind stayed on Him, not on the threatening letters or the shame you feel. He ordains peace for you, not chaos.

Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. The threats of men cannot silence the work of God. They may try to intimidate you into despair, thinking they can quiet your hope with stern warnings, but their power is an illusion when measured against the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. You need a notable miracle, one that makes it clear the deliverance came from His hand and not from a loan officer. Trust Him to make a way where there is no way, and in that trust, you will find the perfect peace that passes all understanding to guard your heart and mind.
