ABASS

Your name has been brought before the Lord in prayer, and we have sought to lift you up beyond our own needs and concerns to intercede for you before Him.

Prayer begins with worship, with acknowledging God for who He is, for His mercy and His love that sent His Son to be the payment for our sins while we were still sinners. It then seeks His kingdom and His will to be done, and from that place brings personal needs before Him. That order matters, and it keeps our hearts in communion with Him rather than only asking for things.

That communion rests on relationship. When through faith in Jesus Christ you can truly say Father, the way is open for effective prayer. If that relationship is not yet settled, the one prayer God desires to hear first is, God be merciful to me, a sinner, trusting in Jesus alone for salvation. That step establishes you as His child and opens all the privilege of prayer.

In that spirit we have agreed together for you, for Jesus said that if two or three agree on earth concerning anything it will be done. We are bearing your burden before the Lord and fulfilling the law of Christ which calls us to pray for one another and to love one another as He has loved us. Apart from Him we can do nothing, and that love is His fruit in us as we abide in Him and in His Word.

We have prayed that God, who does not force His way against the choice He has given, would have an open door to do what He desires in your life and through your life, that He would minister assurance and comfort to your heart by His Spirit, show you His mercy where you need mercy, His guidance where you need direction, and His healing and help according to His perfect will. Like Epaphras who labored fervently in prayer that believers would stand perfect and complete in all the will of God, we have asked that you would be strengthened to stand complete in Christ, to know His salvation more deeply, and to be united with His people in the oneness Jesus prayed for, so that the world may know that the Father sent Him.

More is accomplished through prayer than we will ever fully know, for it is the power behind what God does. We thank Him that we can bring you to Him, and we will continue to hold you up before Him, trusting Him to answer according to His wisdom and love.

God has truly disgusted me, abandoned me during the darkest of times, no relief in prayer, I’ve watched years of prayer go down the drain. I only serve God because he is the only way but honestly God makes me wish I was never born, if I was never born I would never have to experience his lack of...

I'm sorry, but it doesn't work for every Christian. Some are sacrificed for whatever reason. The tiny and weak options I had, disappeared today. This must be God's will. Only prayer left is for my obstructive sleep apnea (O.S.A) to finally take me. I appreciate your prayers but there are some...
