Isaiah 41:10: Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ 2 Timothy 1:7: For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Fear causes you to focus on what Satan wants you to THINK will happen rather than God’s promises to see me through. Prayer: God I ask You in Jesus' name forgive me for my lack of faith; forgive me for being so fearful at times and full of worry. God Let FAITH fill my mind from this day forward and forever more. God Thank You for Your love, help, strength, joy, and support You provide. Now, wash me Lord and renew a right spirit within me. So that I can be a...
🙏 God, I ask You in Jesus' name that I don’t become a bitter, complaining, critical, ungrateful person, no matter what my age is or how old I may become. God help me be appreciative and thankful to You for all Your blessings (big and small). Let me look for God stories every day You bless me to wake 🕰️up. Teach me how to encourage myself in the Lord as David did. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer. God forever and always honor this prayer over each of our lives. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Jesus. Amen. How Can You Not See God...
I would like to say that spiritual growth is not about suppressing who you are but discovering your true identity in Christ. Sometimes, I find myself studying the Word of God. It said: Lord, my heart is not haughty, Nor my eyes lofty. Neither do I concern myself with great matters, Nor with things too profound for me. Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, Like a weaned child with his mother; Like a weaned child is my soul within me. Psalm 131:1-2 A weaned infant is a striking image of a child of God growing beyond the infancy phase of a Jesus follower. A weaning child is still close to the comfortable bosom of care, not yet moved into the unknown. The weaning process for some young goes beyond what is best for the child by...
The closer we get to God the more of God we will experience. But there is a price we have to pay. We have to die to self-daily. And our "ego" and pride can keep us from paying the price and experiencing more of God. Ego stands for Easing God Out. Ego is the Latin word for "I." We must die to "I." "I" have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer "I" who live, but Christ who lives in me. The Ego seeks to profit. But what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul, life, or God purpose? In Christ ego loses all power to boast because without God we can do nothing. God does not have to anoint or use us, regardless of how gifted or talented we may be. For it is in God that we live, move, and have our...
It was not a good day, threats of war, and the hope of peace seemed dismal, at least for now. The enemy was knocking at the gate threatening to inflict war if their demands were not met. Reminding Hezekiah that he and his army were no match for their powerhouse army as they had defeated other territorial armies that were far more powerful than his pitiful army. They levied insults and ordered Hezekiah's people not to listen or obey him because he was in no position to protect them. Suddenly, they left after a litany of threats and insults to Hezekiah. Shortly after that Hezekiah received a devastating and distressing letter from the enemy. He ran into the temple and spread the letter out before The Lord. He specifically pointed out...
Bible in a Year : Leviticus 11–12 , Matthew 26:1–25 I will praise you, Lord, among the nations; I will sing the praises of your name. - 2 Samuel 22:50 Throughout her historic seventy years as Britain’s ruler, Queen Elizabeth II only endorsed only one biography about her life with a personal foreword, The Servant Queen and the King She Serves. Released in celebration of her ninetieth birthday, the book recounts how her faith guided her as she served her country. In the foreword, Queen Elizabeth expressed gratitude for everyone who’d prayed for her, and she thanked God for His steadfast love. She concluded, “I have indeed seen His faithfulness.” Queen Elizabeth’s simple statement (before her death) echoes the testimonies of men and...
This is really a great question of our existence on earth. Why we are here? Who sent us? What are we gona do? Where are we going to go? To be honest with you and for everyone who loves Jesus. Life without God is an empty pit and we will not be able to come out, unless we call on the Lord for help and grace. So, we are here on earth to honor God above anything else in this world, to share His presence in our midst and to tell others to read His word and obey what it says so we will find our way to eternal life in heaven. Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know that Jesus Christ is in you? II Cor. 13.5 So, if Jesus Christ is in all of us who love Him, then we should read...
Every single pit I could fall,I have fallen into, but the goodness, the mercy and compassion of the Lord came along my path and I was saved and relieved of the pressures I was in. Every single mistake I have made in my life I told to Jesus and He in His infinite mercy has heard from heaven and healed my troubled soul. It is goodness of God. Who comes along our path. Deliver us and help us to go on. To reach the mansion beyond earthly life. And to live with Jesus forever and ever. Beloved of God, remember the goodness of God in the frost of adversity and opposition. He will be on your side forever more.ç Amen
Our pilgrimage on earth will come to an end and we will be facing a wonderful world of peace, joy and happiness over yonder, with Jesus in our side and angels all over the place singing praises to the Lord. As I journey all alone. I want to see Jesus face to face. Tell Him how much I love Him. I am so grateful for saving me. At the end of everything. I will meet Him and praise Him forever. Amen All glory, honor and praise shall be unto the Lord now and forever more.
