```markdown Obviously, people are still looking for prophets and prophetesses to be perfect. But God promised to raise up prophets from among your own people. Given that, there is no way that I could possibly be perfect. There is but one perfect prophet; man rejected Him over two thousand years ago. Yet, I strive to operate in obedience to God's instruction to be true to my prophetic calling. Unfortunately, albeit precisely as Jesus prophesied, that makes me a constant target for those whom the Bible says are God's haters. We must remember that Jesus's hometown failed to see the God in Him; yet, He is perfection. Therefore, while some are looking for perfection in me, through their imperfect eyes, they are missing both the purpose and...
Good Morning Everyone: Listen, before I even post this, I already know that there will be backlash. But, I've got to give God glory because I get to give Him glory. I know that many were praying for them. And though some may accuse me of trying to claim credit; I know different. My boast is in the LORD because He still hears and answers prayers! Earlier this morning, as I was watching the breaking news about the shooting, I asked God for something very specific, based on something else very specific. I said: "LORD, if I'm still operating in my assignment correctly, interrupt this news reports with breaking news that the gunman has been contained. Please get those babies out of his clutches." Before I could close out the prayer, there...
Just for today... This is the day which the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.’ Psalm 118:24 When the going gets tough, and you’re tempted to complain about your lot in life, stop and remind yourself that this day is a gift from God, one you will never have again. Think about the following words and they will help you: Just for today, I will experience and enjoy each hour to the fullest and not try to tackle my whole life’s problems all at once. Just for today, I will try to improve my mind by learning more than I know; I will read something that requires effort, thought, concentration, and commitment. Just for today, I will be agreeable. I will try to look my best, speak softly, and be courteous and considerate to...
🙏 "But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life," Jude 1:20-21. Holy Father, thank You for the Gift, the work and character of The Holy Spirit: Comforter, Counselor, Helper, Teacher, Guide, Power to Witness, Power to put to death the deeds of the flesh and live a Holy Life, Distributor of Jesus' Gifts, and so many other purposes in life, John 14-16, Acts 1:8, Rom 8:13-14, 1 Cor 12:4-11, 1 Cor 13, Etc. We thank You He also "builds us up in our most holy faith through praying," Jude 1:20. We ask The Holy Spirit helps us pray, for we know not how to pray as we ought, Rom 8:26, and...
Not the Crown Royal, the Royal Crown. Be sober and vigilant. I was preparing to go in a different direction this morning, but I was given this message to impart. A timely message, as received through the Holy Spirit, for all shepherds: pastors and parents alike. Proverbs 27 (NLT) ²³Know the state of your flocks, and put your heart into caring for your herds, ²⁴for riches don’t last forever, and the crown might not be passed to the next generation. Proverbs 25:11 (NLT) Timely advice is lovely, like golden apples in a silver basket. Even as I was penning this, again a vision regarding this city almost overcame me. God quickly encouraged me, as He had Joshua, to be strong. No prophecy only effects current day situations or beings...
Indeed, it's not very wise that men should think themselves "The Smartest Guys In The Room," especially when God is in the midst thereof. Take heed to the red flags this time. Pride still goes before a fall. And, indeed, having refused to listen or even acknowledge, I have been counted as nothing among them. 1 Corinthians 1 (NLT) ¹²Some of you are saying, “I am a follower of Paul.” Others are saying, “I follow Apollos,” or “I follow Peter,” or “I follow only Christ.” ¹³Has Christ been divided into factions? Was I, Paul, crucified for you? Were any of you baptized in the name of Paul? Of course not! ¹⁴This foolish plan of God is wiser than the wisest of human plans, and God’s weakness is stronger than the greatest of human strength...
Holy Father, I pray the surfers have wisdom and don't get "stoked" over "big waves" and "heavy sets" and then literally get in way over their heads. Let it not "happen every time" THIS TIME, Lord. Give angels to rescue them, lifeguards, wave-runners, jet-skis, and wisdom to keep them from going out in the "big swell," in Jesus' Name. P.S. -- Calm this one and the two coming behind it. I know You can calm the whole season down... It's only August... Thanks again, ###
To: The Cities Who Have Ears To Hear The concept of "sin" related to a "bondwoman" in the biblical context is not about specific individual sins of a "slave," but rather an allegory used by the Apostle Paul in the book of Galatians to contrast two different covenants. For Paul himself was a self-professed slave for Christ, as am I also: The Bondwoman (Hagar) representing the Old Covenant (Law): In this allegory, the children born under the Old Covenant (like Ishmael, Hagar's son) are depicted as being in bondage to the law. The Free Woman (Sarah) representing the New Covenant (Grace): Those who come to God through faith in Jesus Christ are considered children of the free woman (like Isaac, Sarah's son) and are set free from the...
We know that God's speaks to His messengers through dreams and visions, but sometimes He give us signs even in the things that happen in the midst of our journey. Many of these stories we get to share, if we so choose. Yesterday, while I was sitting on a bench having lunch, a little squirrel came up to me, obviously seeking some of my food. I threw him a few crumbs. But, even with those big beautiful eyes he could not see where they were. So, I threw another one right in front of him. He picked it up; but, standing there on his hind legs, with the food in his little hands, he just kept looking at me, as though seeking more. Finally, he ate what was in his hands. But, of course, being a squirrel, he wanted more. Mind you, there were...
