```markdown Adaptation: The Message Bible While we are not to bring attention to ourselves by requiring that people follow our ritualistic instructions, we are to bring attention to Christ by proclaiming His Word and pointing them in and to His direction and instruction. Again, there's just something about how the Message Bible divides the scriptures that is unabashedly crystal clear. JESUS SENDS THE FIRST TWELVE APOSTLES Matthew 10:16-42 "Stay alert. This is hazardous work I'm assigning you. You're going to be like sheep running through a wolf pack, so don't call attention to yourselves. Be as cunning as a snake, inoffensive as a dove. "Don't be naive. Some people will impugn your motives, others will smear your reputation—just...
If life keep knocking you down and do not see the light at the end of the tunnel, trust Jesus word. I am with you always. We may seem confused and dissoriented when there is no answer to our prayers and no one comes to help, the Lord is right there leading you out of a dark hole. People kept telling me I will not be able to make it to heaven, you are a sinner, you are lost and heavens door will close to you. It sounds like satan wanted me discouraged and alone in this world. But then, I heart the Lords call. Follow Me, and he got up and followed Him. Matt. 9.9b Our wonderful Lord taught me to deal with negative thoughs and ideas in a constructive way. Adapting and becoming stronger in Him. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light...
This is a time to call on the Lord who is worthy of all praise. When something horrible comes to our life we may fall apart because it hits hard on our existence. A horrible accident happened on a Interstate highway where a family of six died in a car wreck. No one survived and relatives and friends worry so much about them, how God would let this happen to this wonderful Christian family who were out on vacation. Maybe this is the will of the Father who wants us all in heaven together to see the Lord. Reunited in glory for ages to come. Here on earth, surely crumbling starts right away for those left behind. One last straw, one final blow, hard to know why this happens to good people. Be Thou my vision o Lord of my heart. Naught be...
To The Cities That Have Ears To Hear: It's all a matter of belief... God is neither confused about His Word, nor does His Word cause confusion. For those who have ears to hear (willing to receive with understanding), God’s Word is crystal clear. If at any time clarity is needed, He invites us to "Ask Him" for understanding, and He will give it in abundance. Jesus was not naive concerning His stipulations for reward. The scripture doesn't say that just because someone gives a cup of cold water they will receive a reward: But rather, it must first be determined, to whom the water is given, and why? Jesus said to His disciples: Rewards “Those who receive you are also receiving Me, and those who receive Me are receiving the one who...
This is a heavenly gift coming down from heaven. Joy that overflows our soul because Jesus lives in our heart and His joy comes out to our eyes, ears and mouth. Smile so others will smile along with you. Only Jesus can give us this wonderful gift of a satisfied confidence in Him. He will bring unrestrained expression of enthusiasm to sing praises to His name and a delight to be living in His holy presence. In the presence of the Lord there is fullness of joy. Psalm 16:11 Make me laugh for joy. Make me smile for happiness. Make me Thine very own. It seethes in deepest delight. My cup overflows with joy and peace. No more anger. No more rage. Only happiness and joy. Let the laughter of the Lord. Fill our hearts with happiness...
This is one of my favorite songs! Heaven is a glorious place. It is so comforting to know that death is not the end for those of us who believe and know Jesus Christ as our Savior. We will have eternal life through Christ. God has prepared a new home for us where there will be no more tears, sickness, pain, or death. Jesus said, “In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also (Rev. 21:3-4, John 14:1-4). Our days are numbered. Our times are in God’s hands (Psalm 3:15a). God knows the number of our days and months. We cannot live longer than the...
This is really a wonderful news for those who are saved and on their way to heaven. Again in my spirit the Lord told me so many times, even in my dream, I hear His speaking down deep in my sleep. I will come to you, I will rescue you, save you and help you and heal you. Thou shall not die, but live. Our eternal destiny really means that we have a wonderful place in heaven waiting for us in glory. It was promised to all of us by the Lord and John the apostle had a good reason to say..... These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God.. that you have eternal life. John 5.13 For You are great. You do miracles so great. There is no One else like You. Your promises are all true. I believe it with all of my...
```markdown Bible in a Year: Jeremiah 34–36, Hebrews 2 To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.- Ephesians 3:21 “It seems like a frivolous thing to ask the Lord to help my gelatine to set, but . . . I had the attitude of this whole experience [being] a gift from God,” reflected ### after his Great British Bake Off experience. “Whatever goes well I thank the Lord for, and whatever doesn’t go well I hold onto with an open hand.” ### highlights Ephesians 3:20–21 on his social-media sites as a key passage because he wants to pour out praise to God as the One worthy of all the honour. To God “be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and...
