1 Timothy 5:1,2. Do not rebuke an old man, but appeal to him as a father. Treat younger men as brothers, older woman as mothers, and younger women as sisters with complete purity.-- Lord, may I give total respect, kindness, patience, understanding to my ### and able to assist in giving them the best care possible. May I have the means in making them as comfortable in every way, and they may be able to attend mass and go to confession so they can fulfill the obligation of their spiritual life to receive the love of God. Words from God- Respect your elders and honor your parents and hold on to your faith. In Jesus' name, Amen.
I looked down at my hands the other day and noticed that they were calloused. I recognized them because certainly I've had them before, but seeing them, as the result of the suitcase that I have been made to pull around, roused a different response. While cognizant of effects that this work amid the injustice I bear has rout, a wave of praise overtook me, grateful that my callouses are not nail holes. Thank You LORD. Whether because of mother, brother, "attitude," or even a ball game, so many in this city have tried to paint me as evil; BUT GOD has dispelled every accusation. This morning, I was reminded of the inaccuracy in one such accusation, in particular: "That's why God has taken everything from you;" they say. The Holy Spirit...

Let not our pride receive us from knowing the truth! For it's one of them, the deadliest sin that will leave us behind. Let us release ourselves from this worldly life, let us humble ourselves before God with a spirit of submission, and admit when we are wrong, so we can position our hearts to be open to His word. Take the focus off ourselves and focusing on what really matters-God!…... James 4:10 humble yourself before the Lord, and he will lift you up, Amen.... A few words from Juliana Lane.com.... one would think it's hard, but once you put things in perspective to be honest, truthful staying focused, you realize it's not that difficult. Think About This…
Here is something to ponder as you close your eyes at the end of this day and prepare to open them to a new day tomorrow. Consider the marvelous privilege that is yours for the taking tomorrow morning. Think of it: The Lord Jesus Christ is willing to meet with you privately for as long as you want, and He is willing–even eager–to meet with you every day! Suppose you had been one of the thousands who followed Jesus around for much of the last three years of His earthly life. Can you imagine how excited you would have been if one of His disciples said, “The Master wants us to tell you that He is willing to get alone with you whenever you’re willing, and for as much time as you want to spend, and He’ll be expecting you most every day”...
What a beautiful words to hear coming from heaven above. God's voice thunders all over the universe and let us know that Jesus is a beloved Son who came to the world to save sinners from burning in hell's fire. I really wish that Jesus would hold my heart and cuddle gently in His hands. Our arms are not strong enough, we must rely on the strong arms of God. To hold what I do not understand, to see what others cannot and to hear those wonderful words coming from heaven above. The most beautiful things on earth cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt by the heart and embraced with the soul because it is coming from the holy presence of God who wants us all to be holy and pure in His eyes. The beauty of the Lord shines all over...
Lord Fill My Cup
John 4:13-15: Jesus answered and said to her, “…but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life. The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw.” Prayer Focus: God I ask You in Jesus' name bless me to be a light, an encourager, and compass to help Your children find their way back home to You. God so many of Your children are slipping back into the world or have backslidden and they don't even realize it. Help me help them. I can't pour from an empty cup or give what I don't have. Fill my cup, O Lord. Pour into me so that I can pour into those You send me...
Heavenly Father, in your wisdom you have called certain women and men to a life of special consecration so that in prayerful obedience of a lifestyle of poverty, chaste celibacy and obedience, they might be witnesses to us that as St Paul says, "their true citizenship is in heaven. Give them, Lord, the grace of joy and perseverance in their holy vocation we ask this through Christ, our Lord..... From: ###
