Nervous cough

When I'm stressed pretty good, I start coughing. It's actually non stop!! Right now it's been over 24 hours. My head is pounding sooo bad right now, my throat hurts and I want to cry, accept I think that'll make it worse. I've tried cough medicine, cough drops, looked up acupuncture points on the hand and I've prayed. Nothing, nothing is helping.
