Stop hiding and avoiding me

Beloved of All
Jesus Christ Jesus Christ Jesus Christ of Nazareth hear my humble please. After betrayal they are hiding and have ways to contact me. I look for a phone call first then a text or visa versa in Jesus name. Amen with gratitude

We hear your humble plea and we join with you in bringing this hurt before the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, for we know how deep the wound of betrayal can be and how painful it is when those who have hurt us then hide and avoid us.

We understand your desire for contact, for a phone call or a text, for some acknowledgment and reconciliation. It is right to desire truth and peace, but we also want to encourage you to place this desire fully in God's hands and to seek His will above our own wishes. We cannot control another person's choices, but we can trust the One who sees all and judges righteously.

The Word reminds us, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19. And also, If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Romans 12:18. We are called to love and pray even for those who have wronged us, as Jesus said, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. Matthew 5:44.

Betrayal leaves the heart broken, but the Lord is near to you in this pain. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18. We also remember, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. And, Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh. Psalm 27:14.

We encourage you to release this situation to Him, to forgive as Christ has forgiven us, for He says, For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. Matthew 6:14. Forgiveness does not mean what was done was right, and it does not mean you must force reconciliation, but it frees your heart from bitterness while you wait on God's perfect timing and justice. Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and we thank You that we can approach Your throne with confidence through Him. We lift up this dear one who has been hurt by betrayal and who now feels the pain of being hidden from and avoided. Lord, You see all things, You know the truth of what has happened, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You heal this broken heart, comfort this pain, and fill this waiting with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Lord, if it is Your will, we ask that You soften the heart of those who are hiding and move them to reach out, whether by a phone call or a text, in honesty and humility. Let any conversation be guided by truth, grace, and a desire for peace. But above all, let Your will be done. If contact is not what is best, give our dear one the strength to accept Your answer and to walk forward in wholeness. Help us to forgive as You have forgiven us, to not hold onto vengeance or bitterness, and to trust Your timing and Your justice.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer, and we thank You for Your faithfulness even in this difficult waiting. We place this entire situation into Your loving hands, knowing You work all things for good for those who love You. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.

I seek no revenge or harbour resentment I know that is not God's will

We hear how heavy this silence feels, especially after a betrayal. Waiting for a call or a text when you know they have a way to reach you can leave you checking your phone and carrying the hurt all over again, and we are glad you brought that ache honestly to Jesus.

It makes sense that you long for contact and for things to be made right. One thing we have found helpful to remember is that healing in your own heart and rebuilding trust with another person are not always on the same timeline. You can tend to your own peace with the Lord even while the other person is still distant, and any real restoration of communication takes willingness on both sides. That waiting is painful, and it does not mean you have done something wrong by hoping.

A small next step that sometimes eases this kind of waiting is to keep your outreach clear and calm, then give space. If you feel you need to reach out, one brief, respectful message that simply says you would welcome a call or text when they are willing to talk can be enough, rather than checking repeatedly. Then, while you wait, lean into steady support around you, a trusted pastor, counselor, or mature friend who knows your story and can walk with you day by day, and keep entrusting the outcome to the Lord.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this hurt to You. You see the betrayal and the loneliness in the silence. Grant peace that steadies the heart, wisdom for each word and each pause, and comfort while waiting. Guide both hearts toward what is good and true according to Your will, and draw our friend close to Your presence each day. Amen.

The pain of being betrayed and then avoided cuts very deep, and the longing for a word, even a phone call or a text, is natural to the wounded heart. Yet in this sorrow you are not alone, for our Lord Himself knew what it was to be betrayed. One whom He had suffered to be near Him lifted up his heel against Him, and with a kiss the traitor gave Him over. In our Lord's betrayal Scripture was fulfilled, sin was developed to its culminating point, and the great High Priest became able to sympathize with us in every point. He knows the sting of hidden faces and silent ways.

You have cried, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, hear my humble plea, and that is the right place to come. There is forgiveness with Him, and that is the first and chief mercy we need. There is forgiveness, not up to a certain point or up to a certain date, but a full and complete forgiveness through His blood. If you tremble and shake for fear and with a penitent heart desire forgiveness, hear this whisper that drives away despair, There is forgiveness with God, through Jesus Christ His Son. He not only forgave at the first all our sins, but He continues daily to forgive, and His forgiveness is eternal. Come to Him just as you are, whatever your condition may be, and lay hold on Christ, for He restores the soul. He is at His old work again, ready to restore you now.

And as you have received such divine forgiveness, you are called to copy the pattern set before you. Even as Christ forgave you, so also do you. This is a joint work of mutual forgiveness, and revenge is paltry while forgiveness is great minded. It does not degrade you to forgive, it ennobles you, for it makes you like your Lord who forgave and still forgives.

I cannot pray that God would compel another person to act at your bidding, or that He would force a phone call or a text according to your timing, for the will of another is not ours to command and prayer is not a means to bend others to our wishes. Rather let us pray that the Lord would do what is holy and good and wise for all concerned.

Let us pray together. O Lord, who has seen this betrayal and this hiding, Thou knowest the grief that lingers. Grant to this wounded one a deep sense of Thy forgiveness, that being forgiven much, there may be grace to forgive. Restore the soul and bring down the heart with labor only to lift it up with help. If it be Thy will, bring forth honest and peaceful communication, but if not, grant quietness of spirit to wait upon Thee and to leave all in Thy hands. Keep both hearts from hardness, lead both to repentance where repentance is needed, and let Thy name be hallowed in whatever way Thou art pleased to work. Make this trial to work for good, that Christ may be more precious and Thy will more desired than any word from man. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who was betrayed for us and who ever lives to intercede, Amen.
