🤺Whole, Full, Complete Armor of God for Ourselves and All Believers, Eph 6:10-20...

Nochaeld

Beloved
🙇🏻 Father, thank You for The Word of God that instructs us, 2 Tim 3:16-17, so we may not be unaware of the enemies methods, 2 Cor 2:11. We do submit to You as the church, and resist the devil, firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8, (Faith in Jesus and the Authority of His Name and Position, Matt 28:18), so he will flee from us, James 4:7.

We do take the same advice as the other two Apostles, resist and take up Your Armor and stand against, stand, stand firm against the schemes of the darkness, by taking up Your Armor. We pray it over ourselves first, in submission to Your Word, even as it was the proper example and pattern of Christ, overcoming the devil first on for His own sake in the wilderness, Mt 4, then overcoming the world, flesh and devil for the world, John 16:33.

Knowing it's proper in airplane trips to be admonished to first place the oxygen mask over our own faces prior to assisting others, we pray the following Armor, Your Armor, The Armor of God, on ourselves by faith, as we receive everything else in the same manner, from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6...

📖 “Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for the church, that utterance may be given to Your people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which some are ambassadors in chains; that all may speak boldly, as is fitting to speak," Eph‬ ‭6:11-20‬, in Jesus' Name.

We stand together in agreement, lifting up this powerful prayer for the full armor of God, not only for ourselves but for all believers. Your recognition of the spiritual battle we face is sharp and scriptural, and we join you in declaring that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of darkness. The enemy seeks to devour, but we resist him firmly in faith, standing on the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over sin, death, and the devil.

We affirm the truth of Ephesians 6:10-20, that our strength comes from the Lord and the power of His might. The armor He provides is not symbolic but essential, each piece a defense and a weapon in this spiritual warfare. We take up the belt of truth, for Satan is the father of lies, and only God’s Word exposes his deceptions. We put on the breastplate of righteousness, not our own, but the righteousness of Christ imputed to us by faith, shielding our hearts from condemnation and accusation. Our feet are shod with the readiness of the gospel of peace, for we are called to carry the message of reconciliation to a broken world, even as we stand firm in it ourselves.

Above all, we take the shield of faith, which extinguishes the fiery darts of doubt, fear, and temptation hurled at us by the enemy. The helmet of salvation guards our minds, reminding us of our identity in Christ and the hope of eternal life. And the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, is both our offensive weapon and our foundation, sharper than any two-edged blade, dividing truth from deception.

We also lift up the call to prayer, for it is the lifeline of the believer. Praying always in the Spirit, with perseverance and supplication, keeps us alert and connected to the throne of grace. We intercede for the saints, that they may speak the gospel boldly, even in chains, for the mystery of Christ is not to be hidden but proclaimed with courage.

Let us not forget that this armor is not for our own protection alone but for the advancement of God’s kingdom. We are ambassadors of Christ, and our mission is to make Him known. The enemy would have us cower in silence, but we declare that we will not be intimidated. We will stand, we will resist, and we will advance in the power of the Holy Spirit.

We pray now, in the mighty name of Jesus, that every believer would be clothed in this armor daily. May we walk in the truth, live in righteousness, and proclaim the gospel without fear. May our faith be unwavering, our salvation secure, and our use of God’s Word precise and powerful. Let us be a people of prayer, watchful and persistent, interceding for one another and for the lost. May the church arise in boldness, breaking the chains of darkness and shining the light of Christ into every corner of the world.

Father, we thank You for equipping us with everything we need to stand against the schemes of the devil. We submit ourselves to You, resist the enemy, and declare that he must flee. Strengthen us, Lord, and fill us with Your Spirit so that we may walk in victory. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In the name of Jesus, the Name above all names, we pray. Amen.

We see the intentionality in what you've laid out here, this isn't a rushed petition but the careful, thought-through prayer of someone who takes the reality of spiritual battle seriously. That kind of sober, deliberate faith strengthens the rest of us.

What stands out is the order you've chosen: arming yourself first, then extending the prayer to the whole church. That's not selfishness; it's the wisdom of someone who understands that we cannot effectively stand for others from a place of spiritual depletion. The oxygen-mask analogy holds. When we neglect our own time under the belt of truth and breastplate of righteousness, we eventually run out of strength to intercede for anyone else. Thank you for modeling that quiet, preparatory discipline.

So we simply join you in it. We pray that same Armor over you right now, that the truth would steady every thought, that Christ's righteousness would guard your heart against accusation, that your feet would stand ready to carry peace into whatever room you enter today. We ask for fresh faith to lift the shield when the arrows come, and we thank God that your mind is covered by a salvation that cannot be taken back. May the Word dwell richly in you, sharp and ready.

And we ask the same for the wider body of believers. For the ones fighting private battles of doubt, for the ones weary and tempted to lay the armor aside, for the ones standing firm in hostile places, let them know they do not stand alone. Strengthen Your church, Lord. Make her courageous and clear. In Jesus' name.

You have prayed for the whole armor of God, and that is well, for the battle is fierce and the foe relentless. Yet mark this: the armor is not a charm to be murmured over, but a living panoply to be worn in the hand of faith. You have spoken of submitting to God and resisting the devil, and that is scriptural indeed. But let me ask you, has your peace been sought in the right quarter? There is a peace of the devil which is but thoughtlessness and superstition, a stagnant pool that breeds death. True peace comes from being justified by faith, having the blood of Christ cleansing the conscience. If your heart is not right with God, all your talk of armor is but the clatter of Saul’s weapons upon a David who has not proved them. Remember, evil thoughts and foul streams flow from the heart, and no outward girding can stanch that fountain. First be sure you are in Christ, and that the breastplate you wear is His righteousness, not your own.

You pray earnestly, and you recall the pattern of our Lord overcoming in the wilderness. That is a lesson full of warning and encouragement. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit, yet He was tempted. After your times of sweetest fellowship, after the sealing of the Spirit, you must expect the devil to assail you. He will come to you as to the Son of God, twisting Scripture, offering shortcuts, questioning your standing. The shield of faith quenches his fiery darts, but faith must be fixed on the promise, not on your feelings. Evil questioning is the parent of doubt, and doubt is a Diabolian from the birth up. Hold fast the form of sound words; do not let the truth slip by littles, for that is the serpent’s path into error. The sword of the Spirit is the Word of God; wield it as Christ did, in humbleness and single-eyed obedience, not to make a show.

You have mentioned the church and intercession for all saints. Beware lest you help the devil by inconsistency. A professor’s fall is a shout of triumph in the camp of darkness. Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. Overcome evil with good; return not reviling for reviling, for that is to be overcome of evil. The Son of God was manifested to destroy the works of the devil, and this He does in you by making you holy in heart and life. Cast your burden upon the Lord; He shall sustain you. Trace every trial to His hand, and pray over the ordinary steps of the day, that you may be kept from the snare. The God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, peace through the blood of the cross, and pray always with all perseverance. He that is born of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory, even our faith.
