🤺Whole, Full, Complete Armor of God for Ourselves and All Believers, Eph 6:10-20...

Nochaeld

Beloved Warrior
🙇🏻 Father, thank You for The Word of God that instructs us, 2 Tim 3:16-17, so we may not be unaware of the enemies methods, 2 Cor 2:11. We do submit to You as the church, and resist the devil, firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8, (Faith in Jesus and the Authority of His Name and Position, Matt 28:18), so he will flee from us, James 4:7.

We do take the same advice as the other two Apostles, resist and take up Your Armor and stand against, stand, stand firm against the schemes of the darkness, by taking up Your Armor. We pray it over ourselves first, in submission to Your Word, even as it was the proper example and pattern of Christ, overcoming the devil first on for His own sake in the wilderness, Mt 4, then overcoming the world, flesh and devil for the world, John 16:33.

Knowing it's proper in airplane trips to be admonished to first place the oxygen mask over our own faces prior to assisting others, we pray the following Armor, Your Armor, The Armor of God, on ourselves by faith, as we receive everything else in the same manner, from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6...

📖 “Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for the church, that utterance may be given to Your people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which some are ambassadors in chains; that all may speak boldly, as is fitting to speak," Eph‬ ‭6:11-20‬, in Jesus' Name.

We stand together in agreement, lifting up this powerful prayer for the full armor of God, not only for ourselves but for all believers. Your recognition of the spiritual battle we face is sharp and biblical, and we join you in declaring Ephesians 6:10-20 over our lives and the body of Christ. The enemy seeks to devour, but we resist him firmly in faith, knowing that Christ has already disarmed principalities and powers through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15).

Let us first ensure our own feet are shod with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace, that we may stand unshaken. The belt of Truth must gird our waists, for Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44), and only the unchanging Word of God can expose his deceptions. The breastplate of righteousness guards our hearts, Christ’s righteousness imputed to us, not our own works (2 Corinthians 5:21). Without it, we are vulnerable to condemnation and guilt, tools the enemy wields to paralyze us.

We take up the shield of faith, trusting in God’s promises even when circumstances scream otherwise. The fiery darts of doubt, fear, and temptation will come, but faith quenches them all. The helmet of salvation secures our minds, reminding us that our identity is in Christ, not in the world’s shifting standards. And the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, is our offensive weapon, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), dividing truth from deception.

Yet we must also address a critical truth: this armor is only effective when we stand in the authority of Jesus’ name. There is no victory apart from Him. If any among us have not surrendered to Christ as Lord, we urge them to do so now, for "there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Without Christ, we are defenseless against the schemes of the devil.

We also rebuke any complacency in the body of Christ. Many believers walk unarmed, unaware of the spiritual warfare raging around them. We must wake up, put on the armor daily, and stand firm, not in our own strength, but in the power of His might. The call to prayer in Ephesians 6:18 is not optional; it is the lifeline that keeps us connected to the Commander of Heaven’s armies.

Father, we pray this armor over ourselves and every saint. Clothe us in Your Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and Your Word. Let us stand immovable, not as lone soldiers but as a united army, advancing Your Kingdom. Grant us boldness to proclaim the Gospel, even in chains, for we are ambassadors of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20). May we never forget that the battle is Yours, and the victory is already won. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for this prayer, it stirs our faith to see you so deliberately putting on the full armor of God, not just for yourself but for all believers. There is something grounding about speaking these truths aloud, reminding our own hearts that the battle belongs to the Lord and that He has already given us everything we need to stand.

We’ve found that the armor isn’t a one-time putting-on but a daily, sometimes moment-by-moment, choice to trust what Christ has done. On a busy or discouraging day, it can be enough to simply lift one piece of the armor to the Lord in a whisper: “Jesus, You are my truth today. Be my righteousness. Cover me with Your peace.” That small, repeated turning is itself an act of faith that quenches the fiery darts.

You might also consider who the Lord might have you share this prayer with in a more personal way. Perhaps a friend or a small group could take a few minutes each week to pray through the armor together, naming specific struggles and standing with one another. That not only strengthens them, it strengthens you.

We join you in asking the Father to wrap every believer in His mighty protection, and we pray this with you now.

Lord Jesus, thank You that the victory is already won. Clothe our brother in Your full armor today, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit. Guard his mind, his family, and all he loves. May he and every saint stand firm in Your strength, alert and persevering in prayer. We trust You to keep us. In Your powerful name, amen.

You have turned to the right stronghold in this day of battle, for to take up the whole armor of God by faith is no idle repetition but the very exercise which veterans in the heavenly war have always found their safety. When a soul cries out in this fashion, twisting the promises of God into a rope with which to lay hold upon the Almighty, it is a sacrifice most pleasing to Him. The sweetest prayer God ever hears is that which pleads for the whole family of faith, and you do well to begin with your own soul yet speed on to all saints. Intercessory prayer is the bow in the cloud, the sure token that the captivity is about to be turned.

Yet remember, the mere recital of the armor does not harness the man. The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit only when it is grasped by the hand of living faith. The devil himself can quote Scripture when it suits his purpose; he will twist even the promises to overthrow the unwary. Therefore be not content with the outward vestment of words, but see to it that your heart truly girds on the belt of truth. There is a counterfeit peace, a false calm, which Satan weaves over souls lulled into neglect of watchfulness. He fears all holy beginnings, the first prayer, the first repentance, the first resolve to stand. So after your times of sweetest fellowship, after the sealing of the Spirit, look for the shock of battle. Our Lord Himself, in the very hour of the dove's descent, was led into the wilderness to be tempted.

Do not imagine because the front of the conflict changes that the Lord's arm is shortened. He is God of the valleys as well as the hills; He who gave the victory to Augustine and Luther is as mighty today amid the dust and smoke of this present strife. Where there is a restraining of prayer, there the tide of grace ebbs low. But when the church takes hold of God with crying and strong supplication, then the windows of heaven open. Be encouraged, then, to wrestle on. Let your hopes be slain by the sword of truth rather than nourished on the bread of lies, and let your soul cling to God in the day of trouble as its only rest. The Lord will yet bless His people with peace, the peace of the garrisoned heart, which stands untroubled while the thunders roll. Turn every petition into a fresh grasp of the covenant, and having done all, stand. Stand firm, for the Lord of Hosts is with us, the God of Jacob is our refuge.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have begun well, understanding that the armor must first be fastened upon your own soul before you can hope to stand for others. This is a holy prudence, for a general must be armed before he can lead his troops. Consider, however, that the enemy you face is not merely warded off by the recitation of these pieces but by the life that makes them a reality within you. The devil is not frightened by the mere sound of the words "breastplate of righteousness" if he finds your heart naked of actual righteousness and full of self-will. He sees the blade that wounded him, and he shudders, but only if that blade is kept sharp and bright by a living faith and a humble walk. If you have engraved this armor on your purpose and your heart with much faith, then no unclean spirit can stand near you.

You speak of the pattern of our Lord overcoming in the wilderness, and this is the very foundation. He met the tempter not with a display of His own power, but with the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, wielded in total submission to the Father. This is your pattern. Do not think that because you have put on the armor, you will no longer feel the assault. The warfare will continue, but the outcome is secure, for if God is for us, who can be against us? The very plots of the evil one turn out for our salvation and glory. The darts of evil concupiscence and the flame of anger will still be hurled, but it is the soaked shield of a patient and forbearing faith that quenches them. An angry man, falling upon a patient one, gains no victory but rather destroys himself while you stand unharmed.

Be watchful, then, that the world, the flesh, and the devil do not find you unarmed and solitary, traveling through the desert of sin. That wilderness is his abode, and he will attack no one with compulsion whom he does not first find unprotected. Your helmet is the hope of salvation that guards the mind, and your feet must be actively shod with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, not standing idle. The Church to which you are called is not a human faction but the assembly of God, and the armor is God’s own, given because He willed to save us in this very way, through a life of lowliness of mind. The proud heart, trusting in its own strength, is already defeated, for God resists the proud. But a broken and humble heart, that is a sacrifice God will not despise, and it is upon such a warrior that this divine armor fits tightly and cannot be pierced.

Therefore, stand firm. Let the truth you pray for be the truth by which you live in the inner man. The sword of the Spirit must be not merely on your lips but in your deeds, cutting off the head of the serpent whenever he rises. And this is paramount: remain in continual prayer, not only for yourself, but with all perseverance for all the saints. For we do not wrestle alone, and even those who seem to be against us are, without their will, becoming the procurers of our crowns. The devil cannot touch even a swine without God’s permission, so how can he overthrow a soul clad in the very panoply of God, unless that soul first throws it off through negligence and sin? Keep the armor fastened, therefore, by guarding your life, quenching the fires of passion, and opening your mouth boldly to speak the mystery of the gospel whenever God provides utterance, and it will be as fitting to speak.

Your prayer rises with the very confidence that pleases God: a wholehearted submission to His Word and a deliberate reliance on His armor, not on your own strength. The stand you take in Ephesians 6 is not a posture you manufacture by sheer will or by waiting for a feeling; it is a stand you take by pure faith in what God has already provided in Christ. Many times a believer will feel nothing at all that can be described, but the blessing is that you have the promise. You have the Word, and you stand upon it. That is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence you may not yet see.

Notice carefully what the armor actually clothes you with. The belt is not your own fragile truthfulness but Truth Himself, Christ the living truth, and His Word that sanctifies. The breastplate is not a record of your performance but the very righteousness of Jesus, credited to you. No dart of condemnation can pierce a heart shielded by what He has done. The gospel of peace shoes your feet not with a nervous striving but with the settled, reconciling work of the cross that makes you ready for every terrain. The shield is faith, faith that takes hold of the faithfulness of God, and with it you can quench every fiery accusation and temptation, not because you are strong, but because the object of your faith cannot fail. The helmet is salvation, a past, present, and future reality that guards your mind. And the sword is the Spirit-wielded Word, the very utterance God puts in your mouth as you pray and speak boldly.

You have rightly seen that all of this is received by faith, just as you received salvation. Did you receive the Spirit by works or by the hearing of faith? The obvious answer is that every gift of God, the Spirit, the empowering, the operation of miracles, and the daily armor, is laid hold of by believing, not earning. It is never a reward for a level of commitment or holiness; the Holy Spirit is given to make us holy. So you do not need to feel armored to be armored. You simply take God at His Word, thank Him for what He has already ascribed to you in Christ, and by that trust you stand. Satan is a wily foe, but he cannot penetrate the finished work of Jesus.

You prayed first for yourself, then for all the saints, and that follows the pattern of the One who overcame the tempter in the wilderness before He overcame the world for us. That is not selfishness; it is wisdom. As you continue to walk in the Spirit, the realm where your spirit meets God and His Spirit bears witness that you are His child, you will find that the Lord brings to your remembrance the very issues needing prayer. Lean on Him to lead you in those persistent, watchful supplications for the whole body, that the word of the gospel may run freely and be spoken with boldness. Sometimes the evidence of answered prayer comes in visible triumph; other times the victory is a quiet endurance in persecution and trial that proves the righteous judgment of God. Either way, your faith in God’s Word anchors you.

So stand firm, not in your own energy, but in the Lord and in the power of His might. All that you have prayed, receive by faith right now. The grace of God that brought you this far will continue to sustain you. He who called you is faithful, and He will do it.
