Urgent Prayer for my ###

Splailake

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for ###. She has worked countless hours trying to help ### who went through a terrible divorce and lost everything he's worked his entire life for. ### was just told that she has no case and we fully believed God would work this out for the good for her and ###. She's lost over ### trying to help him. She just received devastating news. She needs God's guidance and direction now before she goes to the attorney to settle. She needs a miracle honestly.

We join you in lifting up this dear woman and the man she has so sacrificially tried to help before the throne of grace, and we share in your heaviness over this devastating news. We see her countless hours of labor, her financial sacrifice, and her hope that God would bring good out of such a painful loss, and we know how crushing it feels when the report from the attorney is that there is no case. We are reminded that the Lord sees every unseen sacrifice and every tear, for Psalm 34:18 tells us The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

We understand your faith that God would work this out for good, and we cling with you to the promise of Romans 8:28 that We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Yet we also humbly acknowledge that His good is not always the outcome we expect or desire, for His ways and thoughts are higher than ours. The loss through divorce is grievous, and the financial burden she has carried is heavy, but God is still sovereign and He is still our refuge. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Even when an earthly case appears hopeless, no situation is beyond His ability to redeem, to guide, and to provide.

You mentioned God but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently and lovingly share that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and can come boldly in prayer. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is because of what Jesus did on the cross, dying for our sins and rising again, that we can bring this need to God with confidence, and we pray that both this woman and this man and you know that saving grace and personal relationship with Him.

We pray together for her now as she faces the attorney and the decision to settle. We ask for the wisdom that God promises to give generously. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. We pray that the Lord would quiet her anxious heart and guard her mind as she waits on Him. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We ask for Proverbs 3:5-6 to be real for her, to Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Let us pray. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious daughter of Yours who is weary and devastated, and the man she has labored to help who has lost so much through divorce. Lord, You see her sacrifice, her hours, her financial loss, and her broken heart over this news. We ask You to be her comforter and her counselor. Grant her clear wisdom and discernment before she meets with the attorney, guide every word that is spoken and every decision that is made regarding a settlement. If it is Your will, we ask for a miracle where man says there is no way, for nothing is impossible with You. But above all, let Your perfect will be done and give her peace to accept and follow Your direction. Provide for her needs according to Your riches, restore what has been lost in the ways only You can, and use even this disappointment for Your glory and her good. Draw both of them closer to Jesus, strengthen their faith, and let them feel Your nearness in this valley. We trust You as our provider and our justice, and we ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand with her in prayer, to encourage her to seek godly counsel and to not make hasty decisions out of despair, but to wait on the Lord. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We are trusting with you that God will guide her step by step and that He will sustain her through this difficult settlement process.

We are so sorry to hear what she is facing after giving so much to help someone she cares about. To work countless hours, to give sacrificially, and then to hear there is no case must feel crushing, especially when you both were trusting God to bring good out of it.

We can imagine how urgent the next step feels with an attorney meeting ahead. When everything feels heavy and rushed, it can help to slow that one meeting down just a little. We encourage you to help her go in with a clear written list of questions, take notes, and ask if she can have a little time before signing anything to pray and weigh the options. Having one trusted, level-headed person with her to listen can also make it easier to remember what is said and to think clearly afterward. If the financial loss is weighing heavily, a trusted financial counselor or advisor alongside the attorney can help sort next steps without pressure.

We are praying with you for her and for you as you support her.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift her to You. You see her labor, her loss, and her disappointment. Give her clear wisdom and peace as she meets with the attorney, guide her decisions, and provide for what she needs in the days ahead. Comfort her heart and remind her You are near and at work even in this hard place. Amen.

thank you so much!!!

Your urgent request has been heard and we have carried it before the throne of grace. We understand the heaviness of this hour, when one who has labored faithfully and at great cost to help another now faces devastating news, financial loss, and uncertainty before meeting with an attorney. It is a trial that would weigh down any heart, and we do not take it lightly.

We are reminded in such seasons that our Lord is grand in emergencies. When the disciples considered not the miracle of the loaves, they forgot that Christ displays His power spontaneously, without need of pressing or even prompting, and that He is sufficient in the very moment when all human resources fail. The power to save and to deliver does not lie in the person who is in need, it lies wholly in Jesus Himself, and He needs but to speak to bring calm and provision. Nobody can work this mighty miracle of mercy but the Lord Jesus Christ, yet He can do it more swiftly than we can speak of it. The greatest miracle of all is the salvation of a soul through Jesus Christ alone, and from that great mercy all other mercies flow.

We also hear your plea for guidance, and we join the psalmist in praying, Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. True guidance comes when we bow with submission to the will of God, avoid everything that is evil, and seek His principles rather than haste, for haste is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life. Before any settlement is signed, we pray that the Lord will grant clear and unerring counsel, wisdom to weigh every decision, and godly advisors who will speak truth with integrity and care.

We know that marriage is ordained by God as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and when that covenant is broken the wounds run deep and the losses are real. Yet Christ is near to the brokenhearted, and He is able to redeem and to restore those who look to Him in repentance and faith.

Let us pray together for you and for those you love.

O Lord our God, Thou who art mighty to save, we bring this dear one before Thee who is cast down by disappointment and loss. Thou seest the hours of labor, the sacrifice given in love, and the sorrow of this present disappointment. Speak Thy word of peace over this troubled heart, and show Thy power to help where human help has failed. Grant wisdom from above for every step before the attorney, that no decision would be made in haste but in quiet submission to Thy counsel. Provide for every need according to Thy riches in Christ, guard this heart from fear, and make Thy way plain. Above all, draw each heart to rest in salvation through Jesus Christ alone, that whatever the earthly outcome, there may be confidence in Thy unfailing love and guidance unto glory. In the name of Jesus our only hope, Amen.

Consider the miracle of the loaves as it has transpired in your own life story and be not afraid, whatever your present trouble may be. Keep seeking the Lord, wait upon His counsel, and trust that He who has begun a good work will not forsake His own. We continue to bear you up in prayer.
