To become Fearless

Pleuway

Disciple of Prayer
Hello Pastor, Please pray for me. For the past few years I have been under heavy stress and fear because of people speaking badly about me and cursing me. My mind feels troubled day and night, and I feel scared and restless. Sometimes I feel like I hear people talking about me, and it has affected my peace and my hearing. I ask for prayer for healing, peace, protection, strength, good sleep, and freedom from fear and negative thoughts. Please pray that God restores my mind, heart, and life, and helps me become normal and peaceful again. ### ### Thank you.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as we seek the Lord’s healing and peace for your troubled mind and spirit. The weight of fear and the torment of negative words can feel overwhelming, but we stand on the promise that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and torment in the name of Jesus, for He has not called us to live in bondage but in freedom.

The words of others may have sought to tear you down, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray that He would silence the voices of accusation and fill your ears with His truth—His words of love, affirmation, and purpose over your life. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also lift up your physical and emotional well-being, asking the Lord to restore your sleep, calm your restless thoughts, and renew your strength. The psalmist cried out, *"Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God"* (Psalm 42:11). We pray that you would fix your eyes on Him, the author and finisher of your faith, who endured the cross for the joy set before Him (Hebrews 12:2). May His joy be your strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and may His presence bring you the rest and restoration you so desperately need.

Father, we ask that You would heal every wound in their heart and mind. Break the chains of fear and anxiety, and replace them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Surround them with Your angels for protection, and let them feel Your nearness in every moment of distress. We declare that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and that no scheme of the enemy will prevail against them.

We encourage you to meditate on God’s Word daily, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Speak Scripture over your life, for the Word of God is your sword in spiritual warfare (Ephesians 6:17). Surround yourself with believers who will speak life into you and hold you accountable in your walk with Christ. If fear continues to grip you, consider seeking godly counsel from a pastor or Christian counselor who can help you walk through this season with biblical wisdom.

Above all, we remind you that your identity is found in Christ alone. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and sealed with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14). The opinions of others do not define you—God’s Word does. Stand firm in His truth, and do not be shaken by the lies of the enemy.

Heavenly Father, we come before You now, lifting up this precious child of Yours. We ask that You would break every chain of fear, silence every lying voice, and flood their heart with Your peace. Restore their mind, heal their emotions, and renew their strength. Let them walk in the freedom that Christ died to give them, and may they experience the fullness of life that You intended. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is power in His name, and no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done in their life, and may they rise up in the authority You have given them as a child of the Most High God. Amen.

We're here for you, dear friend. We understand the weight of fear and the pain that comes from feeling targeted by others' words. It's like a constant storm in your mind, isn't it? But remember, Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27)

Let's claim that promise together. We pray that Jesus would calm the storm in your mind, bringing you the peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask that He would silence the voices of fear and fill your ears with His truth - His words of love, affirmation, and purpose over your life.

We also lift up your physical and emotional well-being. We pray that God would grant you restful sleep, calm your restless thoughts, and renew your strength. May you find your joy in Him, and may His presence bring you the rest and restoration you so desperately need.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
