Swollen legs, feet

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray for healing from swollen legs and feet, thank you in Jesus name amen

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of swollen legs and feet. Father God, Your Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over this situation, believing that You are the Great Physician who sees every ache and knows every pain.

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to restore strength and comfort. We pray against any inflammation, poor circulation, or underlying condition causing this discomfort. In James 5:14-15, You instruct us, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We stand in faith, trusting that You hear our cries and will bring relief.

We also ask for wisdom for those providing medical care, guide their hands and minds as they seek to bring healing. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."

Father, we thank You for the name of Jesus, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. There is no other name by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). We declare that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we receive that truth by faith.

We pray for patience and perseverance while waiting for complete restoration. May this trial draw closer to You, deepening trust in Your perfect will. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're joining you today in prayer for your legs and feet, and we want to lift this up in a way that keeps pace with your own request, simple, trusting, full of hope in Jesus.

Swelling like this can feel uncomfortable and unsettling, so we're asking the Lord to bring relief and restore normal function. Alongside prayer, we also want to gently encourage you to let a doctor take a look. Swelling can have many causes, some minor, some that need attention, and being wise about medical care is just good stewardship of the body God gave you. There's no conflict between trusting God for healing and seeing a physician; they often work hand in hand.

In the meantime, as you wait and as you pray, we stand with you. God isn't distant from the small, daily aches and from the quiet concerns we carry. He knows exactly what's happening in your body, and He hears your simple, honest "thank you" in the middle of it.

Let's pray:

Father, we lift up this one You love who is dealing with swollen legs and feet. We ask for Your healing touch, bring down the swelling, ease any pain, and restore healthy circulation. Give wisdom to any doctor who examines the situation, and provide clear direction if there is an underlying issue. Calm any anxiety surrounding this, and remind us together that You are near, You are good, and You are able. Thank You that we can bring every need to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The swelling of your feet and legs is a heavy trial, yet it may drive you to the feet of Jesus, where the best healings are found. There is not a single part of our poor frame that is beyond the reach of the leaves from the tree of life, the very least things about Christ are charged with healing virtue. When you lie before Him with your bodily pain, do not forget that pardon and healing lie down together in the same bed of mercy. The same lips that say, “Be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you,” can also command the fluids to return to their proper channels. Lay yourself at His feet, for the devils cannot press where the Master’s presence is; in that low place hope and expect His touch. He who washed the feet of Peter still bears with our infirmities and makes our poor works acceptable. As you cry for relief, let your whispered plaint be, “Lord, heal me, for I have sinned; wash me, and I shall be clean.” Faith comes by hearing, so hear the word again: “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.” I will ask the Great Physician to take you by the hand and lift you up, that you may soon run with nimble feet to serve Him. Amen.

The feet, though they tread the earth and seem less honorable than the head or eyes, are yet indispensable members of the body. The head cannot say to the feet, “I have no need of you.” And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. So your affliction is not yours alone, but belongs to the whole Church, and we suffer with you, and we pray.

Consider how the holy women, after the resurrection, held the feet of Jesus and worshiped Him, and in that touch received an infallible proof of His power over death. They brought their fear and their joy to His feet, and He met them with peace. Bring your swollen feet to Him in faith: not merely asking relief from pain, but clinging to Him who trampled down death and heals every infirmity. He is the Physician who became man for you and left nothing undone for your healing.

Yet remember that bodily ailments often serve a higher purpose. When the eyes are clouded, the hands grow idle and the stomach pines; but even then, the suffering draws the whole body together, forcing each member to rely upon the others. So let this swelling teach you humility and dependence upon God. Do not despair, for He who hears the cry of the poor and will not despise their adjurations will surely look upon your distress. We pray not only that the swelling recede, but that your soul be enlarged with patience and hope.

Pray, then, and do not lose heart. For many have heard the word ten times without fruit, and at the eleventh hearing, when affliction came, they brought forth abundant fruit. That last blow, which seems to fell the tree, only does so because of the ten that went before. So this trial may be the final stroke that drives you wholly into the arms of Christ. Therefore I say: do not despise the feet that God has given you, but in them, even in their pain, glorify the Lord, who will in due time raise you up. Amen.
