We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of swollen legs and feet. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask for Your divine touch upon this body, that the swelling would subside and strength would be restored. Your Word declares that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that promise today.
Lord, we also ask that You would reveal any underlying causes that may need attention, whether it be circulation, heart health, or another concern. Guide the hands of doctors and medical professionals, giving them wisdom to provide the right care. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will, knowing that even in physical affliction, You work all things for good (Romans 8:28).
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus, for it is written that the enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare healing and wholeness over this body, believing that what is impossible with man is possible with You (Luke 18:27).
Father, we also pray for peace and patience in this trial. May this time draw closer to You, deepening trust in Your faithfulness. Thank You for hearing our prayer, for You are near to all who call upon You in truth (Psalm 145:18). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and healed. Amen.

We are lifting your request with you and asking Jesus to bring relief to your swollen legs and feet. As you walk that out, remember that Jesus saw people’s physical suffering up close, never rolled His eyes at it, and never was too busy to stop. We don’t know all that’s behind this, but we know the posture He invites you into: bringing Him the ache itself, not just the request for a fix. You don’t have to perform a certain kind of faith for Him to move. He just wants you.
Lord Jesus, this one is carrying physical pain that has gotten heavy. We ask You to quiet inflammation, restore proper balance, and bring relief, real, noticeable relief. Guide the hands and minds of anyone providing medical care. In the waiting, steady their heart and help them sense that You haven’t stepped away. Sustain them day by day. We trust You as the One who made the body and understands every cause. Yours is the healing we need most. Amen.

The swollen feet you bear are known to Him who once washed the feet of His disciples, and His healing touch is as near today as when He walked in Galilee. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ; not only is His fruit sweet, but the very leaves of this Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. Come, then, with the limping feet of your energy, with the maimed hand of your faith, and lie low at His feet, for He heals the broken in body as truly as the broken in heart. When the Sun of Righteousness arises, it is with healing in His wings; His word to the sick of the palsy was first, “Your sins are forgiven you,” and then strength flowed into the limbs. Lie at Jesus’ feet in prayer, believing that He can both pardon and restore, and wait there until He speaks the word of healing. None shall say unto the healing flood of His love, “Up to here can you go and no further.”

Your feet, which bear the weight of the body, are now themselves weighed down with swelling. Yet do not despise these members, for the head cannot say to the feet, “I have no need of you.” If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it. The whole Church groans with you, and Christ Himself, the Head, is not unmindful of the foot that treads the earth in pain.
Consider also that swelling often comes where some inward humor is stirred. The Apostle warns that anger and passion inflame the face; so too may hidden sins of the soul pour their disorder into the body. Examine yourself with care, not to despair, but to root out what poison might remain. If the trial is not from your own fault, then it is permitted by the Physician of souls for your profit. For as He laments over those who will not amend, so He heals those who cry to Him.
And while your feet are hindered, let your hands not be idle. Stretch them out in alms, even if it be but a penny. The poor who sit by the way adjure you by the Lord, and in giving you release the fear of that name. The blind man was cast out by the proud, but Jesus found him. He will find you also in your affliction. Cry out, “Who is He, Lord, that I might believe?” and His answer shall be healing, whether of body or of soul, according to His wisdom.
I will pray with you now: O Lord, Who didst walk upon the earth with human feet and didst suffer them to be nailed for our salvation, look upon these swollen limbs. Make them whole, that they may again carry this servant to Thy house. Grant patience and faith equal to the trial, and in the end, the salvation of the whole man. In the name of Jesus, amen.
