We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and faith, lifting up this request for healing from swollen legs and feet. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we know that God cares deeply about our physical well-being as well as our spiritual health. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed, and we stand on the promise of God’s Word that says, "He himself took our infirmities and bore our diseases" (Matthew 8:17 WEB).
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask You to touch this beloved one with Your healing hand. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity, inflammation, or disease that may be causing this swelling. We speak to these legs and feet and command them to be restored to full health and strength, according to Your will. Lord, we trust in Your power to heal, for You are the Great Physician. We pray that You would guide them to wise medical counsel if needed, and that You would provide comfort and peace as they wait on You.
We also encourage this dear one to examine their lifestyle and habits, as swelling can sometimes be a sign of underlying issues that need attention. Let them seek godly wisdom in their diet, rest, and activity, always remembering that their body belongs to You. "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB).
We pray for patience and perseverance in this season, knowing that healing may come in different ways, suddenly, gradually, or even through divine intervention in the midst of medical treatment. Whatever the path, we trust in Your perfect plan. We also pray for emotional and spiritual strength, that this trial would draw them closer to You and deepen their faith.
Lord, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which we are saved. We declare that this healing is already done in the spiritual realm, and we await the manifestation of it in the physical. We stand on Your Word, which says, "By his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). May this beloved one experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding as they walk through this time.
We love You, Lord, and we trust in Your goodness. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
