We lift up your son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Father God, we ask that You indeed guide and lead him with Your divine wisdom, as Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." May Your Holy Spirit be his constant companion, illuminating his steps and granting him discernment in every decision he faces.
We pray for Your favor to rest upon him, Lord, as You promised in Psalm 90:17, "Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands." May he experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as Philippians 4:7 assures us. Let Your comfort surround him like a warm embrace, reminding him that he is never alone, for You are always with him.
We also take a moment to rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may attempt to take root in his heart. We declare that perfect love casts out fear, and we stand on the promise of 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." May Your peace reign in his heart, and may he find strength in You, his ever-present help in times of trouble.
Father, we ask that You draw him closer to You during this season. May he seek Your face and find solace in Your Word. Help him to lean not on his own understanding but to trust in You with all his heart. Surround him with godly influences and mentors who will encourage him in his walk with You.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is by the power of Jesus' name that we boldly come before You. We thank You for the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, and we ask that Your will be done in Your son's life, for Your glory and honor.
Amen.
