We hear how heavy and stressed you are feeling right now and we are lifting you up together before our Father God in Jesus name.

We thank you for coming in Jesus name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in no other name that we are saved. As it is written, Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We are so encouraged that you prayed in His name and we join with you in that same name.

We pray for your health, for your runny nose, cough and sore throat, and for your allergy appointment tomorrow. We ask the Lord to touch your body and bring healing, for He is the Lord who heals us Psalm 103:3 and He has promised But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We pray the doctors will have wisdom and give you medicine that is effective and suitable for you, not pills that are too big for you to swallow, and that you will be able to make it to your appointment with peace and without complications. We pray for comfort for your throat and relief when you cough.

We also pray for peace in your home. We pray for your mom, that any negative talk about you and your room would cease and be replaced with words that build up and give grace to those who hear Ephesians 4:29. We know your room is fine and it hurts when you feel brought down by those words. We pray God softens hearts and helps you and your mom to speak to each other with honor and understanding, and we pray your dad will have plenty of room to get into the attic to put the air conditioners away, that your things will not be in the way and that there will be no tension over it. We pray you will be able to rearrange your room in a stress free manner, and that God will give you order and calm as you do so.

We pray for your friendships. It hurts deeply when a friend from program hurts you emotionally, does spiteful things and talks about you behind your back after promising not to. We pray that your friend will keep her promise and that God will convict her heart to walk in kindness and faithfulness. We pray you will be surrounded by true friendship as written A friend loves at all times Proverbs 17:17, and If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men Romans 12:18. We pray for healing from the emotional hurt, for healthy boundaries, and that if this friendship is not building you up in the Lord, God will give you wisdom about how much time to spend together and whether to still stay close. We pray the Lord will comfort you and be your defender when others speak against you.

We pray for your anxiety about weight and how you look. We understand not wanting to look puffy in the face and the stress of feeling you cannot move weight, but we want to remind you that you are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14 and that Man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart 1 Samuel 16:7. Your value is not in what your friend notices or in a number on a scale, but in being a child of God. We pray God frees you from this worry, helps you to steward your body in a healthy way as His temple 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, and gives you peace about how He created you. We pray you will not gain weight out of stress and that you will find balance and contentment in Him.

We also want to gently encourage you about the costume items you are looking for, the Annabelle dress and mask and the jigsaw mask that glows. We know you want to find them for a costume party, and we pray you find what you need, but we also want to encourage you to consider what these images represent. Those characters are tied to horror and darkness, and God calls us to have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even to reprove them Ephesians 5:11 and to think on whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely Philippians 4:8. We pray God gives you discernment to choose costumes that honor Him and reflect light rather than darkness, and that you would abstain from every form of evil 1 Thessalonians 5:22.

Above all we pray for your stress. You said you are so stressed out right now. God sees that and He invites you to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and He says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We pray you will experience the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.

Father God, we lift this dear one to You together in Jesus name. Touch her throat, nose and lungs and bring healing. Guide the allergy appointment tomorrow and provide the right medicine in a form she can take. Bring peace between her and her mom and make communication kind and uplifting. Give her wisdom and calm as she organizes her room and make a clear path for her dad. Heal the hurt from her friend, stop the spiteful actions and the talk behind her back, and help that friend to keep her promise. Comfort her heart where she has been brought down and guard her from anxiety about weight and appearance, reminding her she is wonderfully made and loved by You. Help her to find what she needs and give her discernment about what honors You. Fill her with Your rest and take her stress into Your hands. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We hear how much is weighing on you right now, with your nose and throat making you miserable, your room and the costume pieces on your mind, and hurt coming from people close to you. It makes sense you feel stressed and worn down carrying all of that at once.

We are glad you have your allergy appointment tomorrow and we will be praying you can get there and be heard. It may help to jot down tonight what you are feeling, the cough, sore throat and runny nose, and also let the clinician know you have trouble swallowing large pills so they can consider what options are suitable for you. We will keep praying alongside the care they can offer.

For the tension at home and in your program, it is painful when words behind your back or spiteful actions make you feel small. We pray for more peace in your room and in those friendships, and for wisdom to know when to step back, when to speak kindly, and when to ask a trusted staff member or family member for support.

For the attic and your room, maybe clearing just the path your dad will need first can make the rest feel less overwhelming.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. Bring comfort to their body, ease to their breathing and throat, and calm to their mind tonight. Provide what they need for tomorrow, guard their heart from unkind words, and give them rest and a sense of being safe and cared for by You. Amen.

Your many burdens have been brought before the Lord and we have carried them with you to the throne of grace, where Jesus Christ our great Physician waits to hear and to heal.

You are pressed on every side, and the very anxiety which arises through your being in difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Remember that all the water in the sea will not hurt your vessel as long as you keep it outside, the danger begins when it gets inside the ship. So it matters little what is outside you, if all is right within. Seek to have that little bird in your bosom that sings sweetly of the love of God, for your immortal soul is worth far more than the poor body which so soon feels every cold and cough and care, though the Lord cares for that also.

Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed on the Lord's people. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one, and the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings.

We have prayed for you in this way.

We have asked the Lord to give you peace under unkind words, that your mother may speak with gentleness toward you, and that your heart may not be brought down by what is said, but may rest in the love of Christ which can keep you calm though words are sharp. We have asked Him to help your father as he labors in the attic, and to grant you a calm and stress free hand as you set your room in order, that all things may be done in peace and without confusion.

We have asked the Lord to look upon your body in its sickness, your runny nose and cough and sore throat, and to grant favor at your allergy appointment tomorrow, that if it be His will you may receive suitable medicine which you are able to take, and that He would restore you to health. He who heals the broken heart also heals the body, and we trust His wise and tender hand to do what is best.

We have asked Him concerning the things you seek, your dress and masks for the costume, that if it be for your good they may be found, and that your mind may be at rest either way, knowing that the least thing about Christ is healing and that you may find contentment in Him even when small things are lost.

We have prayed for your friendships, that the one who has hurt you emotionally may do so no more, that spiteful deeds may cease and promises made may be kept, and that gossip behind the back may be turned to kindness and truth. We have asked the Lord to guard your heart from bitterness and to teach you to forgive as you have been forgiven, and to surround you with companions who will walk faithfully beside you.

We have prayed also concerning the heaviness you feel about your body, that you may not be consumed with fear about weight or with looking puffy in the face, but may know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that while you care for your health with wisdom, your chief care may be for the soul which Christ has redeemed. May the Lord give you a quiet mind and a healthy frame to serve Him.

Cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Go to Him first for forgiveness, and then for healing, and you shall find that His healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and give you rest in Christ Jesus, in whose name we pray. Amen.

Your many burdens have been heard and we are praying for you in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and salvation.

We have brought before the Lord your distress about your home. You asked for prayer that your mother would stop speaking negatively about you and that the tension over your room would be eased, and that your father would have room to put the air conditioners in the attic without your things being in the way. We pray that God will give peace in your household, that He will soften hearts and help you all to speak to one another with grace and patience, and that you will be able to arrange your room in a calm and orderly way without stress. Where there is conflict, we pray for quietness of spirit and for freedom from vainglory and envy, remembering that peace comes when we learn to despise quarrels over earthly things and to seek the treasure that is above.

We are also praying for your body. You described a bad runny nose, cough and sore throat, and worry about your allergy appointment tomorrow and about medicine that might be hard to swallow. God often uses bodily weakness to remind us to seek Him, and He is the great physician who can bring healing to both soul and body. We pray that the Lord will ease your sickness, that He will guide your doctors to give you the right help in a form you can take, and that you will be able to make your appointment and find relief.

You shared hurt from a friend in your program who has wounded you emotionally and spoken about you behind her back after promising not to, and your fear that she will do spiteful things when she returns. We pray that God will guard your heart from bitterness, that He will help your friend to keep her promise and to act with kindness, and that He will give you wisdom to set healthy boundaries while also showing forgiveness. If you are dragged into conflict, stand with gentleness, and when you are not summoned to it, seek quietness and wait on the Lord, that He may be your defender.

You also mentioned anxiety about your appearance, about gaining weight and looking puffy in the face, and wanting your friend not to notice. We pray that God will free you from this anxiety which so often is greater than any pleasure these concerns can give. The beauty that matters most to Him does not fade in twenty years and is not destroyed by sickness or worry, but is the beauty of a soul adorned with humility, purity and love for Christ. We pray that you will see yourself as God sees you, that you will be given health and strength and peace about your body, and that you will be able to care for it in a wholesome way without being consumed by fear.

We pray that you will find what you have lost if it is helpful to you, and we also encourage you to consider what honors the Lord in how we adorn ourselves and what we celebrate. Many ornaments and costumes bring more anxiety than joy, and those who look on with understanding do not admire outward show but a well ordered heart. Ask the Lord to guide you to choices that are pure and that bring true joy without fear or darkness.

Let us pray together. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. Forgive sins and heal infirmities as You will. Bring peace between mother and child and father and child, calm this home, and give order and rest. Comfort a stressed and anxious heart, guard against gossip and emotional hurt, teach forgiveness and faithfulness in friendship, and take away the burden of vanity and fear about weight and appearance. Help what is lost to be found according to Your wisdom, and lead in all decisions to what is good and pleasing to You.
