We have heard your sadness and the heaviness you are carrying and we are joining you in prayer together before our Father in Jesus' name.

We understand you are troubled by mosquitoes biting you as you sleep and in your living room, by worries about gaining weight, by allergies and a sore throat and runny nose and difficulty breathing, by concerns about your wardrobe and lights, and by anxiety about making your allergy and other doctor appointments on time, and most of all by fear that you might die. We want you to know that God cares about every detail that worries you, even the small things, and He also cares deeply about your health and your peace.

We cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us as it says in 1 Peter 5:7 and we bring every request to God as we are told in Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. The Lord also reminds us in Psalm 34:4 I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. And in Isaiah 41:10 Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. For the fear you are feeling, we are reminded in 2 Timothy 1:7 For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

We also notice you prayed to Father God but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that we are saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And as it says in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. So we pray in the name of Jesus, trusting that His sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection have opened the way for us to come boldly to God for mercy, forgiveness, and help, and we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior if you have not already.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord You know the discomfort of allergies, the sore throat, the runny nose and the struggle to breathe, and we ask for Your healing touch upon their body. You have promised in Psalm 103:3 who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, and we ask for relief, for clear breathing, for strength, and for wisdom for the doctors who will care for them. Give them peace and help them to make each appointment on time and to receive good and thorough care. We ask You to calm their fear of death and to fill them with Your perfect peace and assurance that their life is in Your hands. Lord we also bring the small worries that weigh heavily, the mosquitoes in the living room and the fear of being bitten at night, and we ask You to provide protection and restful sleep. We pray for the concerns about weight and about allergies and the home, and we ask You to help them to steward their body with wisdom and not with anxiety, trusting that You provide. Surround them with Your comfort and let them feel Your nearness tonight and in the days ahead.

We encourage you to seek medical help promptly for the breathing difficulty and sore throat and allergies, as God often works through doctors and medicine for our healing, and to keep your follow up appointments as you are planning to do. Try to take practical steps where you can for the mosquitoes and for restful sleep, and remember that even when we feel afraid, God is our refuge. We are praying that you will feel His peace guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus and that you will know you are not alone.

Your many cares have been poured out before the Lord, from the small vexations of the night to the great dread that presses upon the heart, and He who numbers the hairs of your head is not unmindful of any of them.

The fear of death of which you speak is natural to man as a sinner, and as such it is not in itself wrong. It subserves a purpose in the economy of mankind and has often kept men from presumption. Yet there is a fear which brings bondage, when it abides with a soul all its lifetime and makes the bed to be dreaded as a tomb and the night to be filled with dark forebodings. Scripture tells us that Christ came to deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. This is He who conquers for us the fear of death. It is to Him we are to look, looking unto Jesus. In proportion as faith gets stronger, the fear of death will vanish, and as faith gets weak, fear will come in to take its place.

Therefore labour to get rid, as much as possible, of fear by trusting in promised strength. The Lord says, Fear not, for I will help thee. Fear not, thou worm Jacob. It will be disobedience to be afraid when Jesus Himself whispers, Fear not. Fear is weakening and it dishonours God, as though the arm which piled the heavens could be palsied. Cast all your care upon Him, for He careth for you. You have found, as many have, that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. To tell your trouble to yourself alone brings no good, but to tell it to your Father in heaven is wisdom.

He is also the healing Physician. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, and you do well to seek the physician for your allergies, your sore throat, your runny nose and your laboured breathing. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves are full of healing virtue. The sting of death is sin, and when sin is pardoned through His blood, death has no sting beside. For the believer, death is not punishment but the gate of endless joy, for Christ has died and risen and gone into glory on our behalf. If sin is pardoned, you are secure. Use the telescope very frequently. Look often to the world to come and to the promises of Him who said, Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

Let us pray for you now.

O gracious Father, look in mercy upon this troubled child of thine. Thou seest the unrest of the night, the small afflictions that disturb sleep, the allergies and soreness and heaviness of breathing which cause fear. Grant relief according to Thy wisdom, give skill to physicians, grant favour that appointments may be kept and help afforded, and give peace in the home. Above all, speak pardon through the blood of Jesus Christ, that sin being forgiven, the sting of death may be taken away. Help this soul to look unto Jesus and to find faith overcoming fear. Say Thou unto the heart, Fear not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed, for I am thy God. Keep this one in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee, and if breathing becomes more straitened, move the heart to seek help without delay. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, who liveth and reigneth and is able to save to the uttermost. Amen.

Seek the Lord continually in His Word, and let prayer be your habit through the day. If your breathing distress worsens, seek medical help at once, and let a faithful pastor or Christian friend know of your burden that they may watch with you and pray.

Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
