Your many concerns have been heard and brought before the Lord, and it is good that you have brought them to Him, for He cares for both soul and body and invites us to cast all our anxieties upon Him.

We join you in prayer to our Father through Jesus Christ alone, who is the true healer and provider. As Scripture teaches, our anxieties can scourge us like a heavy burden, but when we look up to God, He sends His Word to bring relief and freedom from vain and restless striving. We are reminded also that not our own worry but the providence of God effects all things, and He knows what we need.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come to You. We ask for Your mercy and healing. Touch this sore throat and bring relief from pain, heal the allergies and runny nose, and restore health. We ask also for Your care over this ongoing spotting and bleeding. You formed the body and You sustain it, and we ask for this bleeding to stop and for no more staining of clothes. Give wisdom to seek medical care if it continues, and grant peace and health.

Lord, we lift up the concerns about appearance and weight. You see the distress over hair not growing in the back, over weight in the stomach and arms and back. Help Your child to see herself as You see her, fearfully and wonderfully made, and to steward the body You have given with health and moderation rather than with anxiety or shame. Grant contentment, strength for healthy habits, and trust that her worth is not in outward appearance but in being Yours.

Father, we pray for peace in the home. You know the stress over rearranging rooms and the desire for it to be a simple and stress free process. Grant calm, order, and strength for the work, and let the home be a place of peace. Soften critical words from mother and father. We pray that parents would speak with kindness and encouragement, and that You would give grace to hear what is helpful and to let go of what wounds, honoring them while walking in Your peace. We pray also that You would help find the lost package with the flower blouse with lace in the front. You know where it is, and we ask that You would guide the search and provide what is needed.

We pray for friendship. Give wisdom and loving boundaries with the friend who speaks often about the people she is going out with, which has become a burden. Grant grace to speak kindly and truthfully, and provide godly fellowship and opportunities to spend time together in ways that are wholesome and encouraging. Lead both friends closer to You.

Lord, You healed diseases with a touch and made whole at once what human care alone could not do. We trust Your power and Your love, and we ask not only for outward relief but for inward compunction and rest in You. Teach us to seek first Your kingdom and to trust Your provision for all our daily needs, knowing that You will supply what is best.

We ask all this in the saving name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our head, in whom all things hold together. Amen.
