Thank you for sharing what you are going through. I have prayed for you and I am asking the Lord to bring you comfort and relief from this sore throat, runny nose, cough and allergies.
I know how wearing and discouraging this kind of sickness can be. Even what seems like a small affliction can take away your strength and make each day harder. Jesus understands our physical weaknesses. When He walked among us He went about doing good and healing every kind of sickness and disease, and He showed compassion to those who were suffering. Scripture tells us in Isaiah chapter 53 that He has borne our infirmities and carried our sicknesses, and Matthew connects that promise to the healing work of Jesus.
One thing that brings peace is remembering that healing comes from God in many different ways. Sometimes Jesus healed instantly with a word, sometimes with a touch, sometimes without even being present. At other times healing came gradually, step by step. There is no single pattern that God is bound to, and we do not always understand why some are relieved at once while others recover more slowly. What we do know is that every true healing is from Him. The natural processes of recovery that God placed within our bodies are themselves divine, because He is the Creator of nature and of those processes.
That means we can trust Him both for His power to heal and for His wisdom in how He heals. Some healings are immediate and unmistakable, others unfold gradually as the body regains strength. Both are His work.
So I am praying that the Lord will touch you and ease these symptoms, soothe your throat, clear your breathing, calm the cough and lessen the allergic reaction. I pray He will give you rest, restore your strength, and bring healing whether it comes quickly or little by little. If your symptoms continue or worsen, please also seek care from a doctor and use the good and practical means God has provided for health, for those means are part of His provision as well.
May the Lord draw near to you in this discomfort, remind you of His care for every part of your life including your body, and give you peace as you look to Jesus who alone is our Savior and our hope. I will continue to pray for your recovery and for His comfort to be with you.
