I so love the Book of Proverbs! In this chapter, the verse, "Whoever mocks the poor reproaches his Maker;" speaks to me in a very strong way. I work security in a hospital in a bad area. The homeless often come in and pretend to be suicidal just for a place to stay. We often have to turn them away. Then they will say they need to be seen in ER, so that they can sleep for a couple of hours in our beds. It is so easy to become cynical after dealing with it every single day. These are the times that I need to remember where I come from, and not judge them, but pray for and encourage them. I needed this Scripture reading today! Blessed be our God and Savior Jesus for saving our souls and we are heading to heaven because of Jesus dying on Calvary. Praise Him for ever and ever. Amen
Fire test the purity of silver. God may be testing you for some reason. Just stay in prayer and be close to the heart of Jesus. He will never fail you nor forsake you.
The heavens are telling the glory of God. And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands. Each and every morning, when we lift our eyes towards heaven... then our prayer should be ... Glory to God in the highest. And peace will come to all men and women of earth. A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips. Proverbs 17.4a Keep praying for all wicked people you could find anywhere. They really need Gods help and grace today. Their understanding is so twisted that they cannot tell the real truth from lies. Ask Jesus to save all sinners and that they will learn to praise and honor God as Creator of all things.
Childrens children are the crown of old men. Prov. 17.6a Grandchildren are a blessing to the elderly when they visite them and help them in their old age. We have more time for our grand children than we did for our own children because we were working so hard to make ends meet and now in our old age we can see the fruits of our hard work done in our own children. If we taught them to read the bible daily, to pray for others, to be kind to the poor and help those in need, then our grand children will follow our example and be faithful to God and faithful to their own family. You reap what you sow.

Sing praises to the Lord Oh ye His saints and give thanks to His holy name. Psalm 30.4 This morning God has blessed me with this wonderful verse. Let us not forget to praise Jesus every single day of our lives. He deserve our honor and glory for being so good to all of us. Prov. 17.11a An evil man seeks only rebellion. As we pray to God let us ask for all evil people we see everywhere. Pray for the salvation of their souls. Bring them all to church to get saved and they too will glorify God for ever and ever. Amen
