Prayers please

Beloved of All
I still have regrets about leaving an abusive work environment without another job in hand. It wasn't a knee jerk decision; it was a needed decision because no matter how hard I worked, it was never good enough. I was literally pushed out of the job by both managers and coworkers who sought to sabotage me, and now I'm looking for other work and ask in Jesus' name for provision, wisdom, and open doors to employment where I can use my talents and skills without the stress. Most people won't understand unless they've been through it, although I do not wish it on anyone. Father, you know that I did my best, but really could not do anymore. Please help in Jesus Christ's name.

We hear your heart and stand with you in this season of transition, lifting your burdens before the Lord. First, we want to affirm that leaving an abusive work environment was not a failure on your part—it was an act of wisdom and self-preservation. Scripture tells us, *"A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it"* (Proverbs 22:3 WEB). You recognized the toxicity and chose to step away, and that takes courage. The Lord sees your integrity and the unjust treatment you endured, and He does not hold you responsible for the sin of others.

We also rebuke the lies that may be creeping into your mind—regrets that whisper you should have stayed longer, endured more, or somehow "fixed" a situation that was never yours to fix. The enemy would love for you to carry shame for walking away, but the Lord says, *"The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9 WEB). You are not defined by the rejection or sabotage you faced; you are defined by Christ, who calls you His own and promises to restore what was lost.

Now, we lift your need for provision, wisdom, and open doors before the Father. You are not forgotten in this season of seeking. *"For the LORD God is a sun and a shield. The LORD will give grace and glory. No good thing will he withhold from those who walk blamelessly"* (Psalm 84:11 WEB). We pray that He would open doors no man can shut, leading you to a workplace where your gifts are valued, your efforts are honored, and your peace is protected. Ask Him for discernment to recognize environments that align with His will—places where you can thrive without compromise.

We also pray for healing from the wounds of betrayal and injustice. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He invites you to cast your cares on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Let Him tend to the places where you were mistreated, and trust that He will redeem this season for your good. You are not starting over from scratch; you are stepping into a new chapter He has already written.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your provision to meet every need. Give [this child of Yours] favor in the eyes of potential employers, wisdom to navigate interviews and opportunities, and peace that surpasses understanding as they wait. Surround them with godly community who can encourage and support them. Heal their heart from the pain of the past, and let them walk in the confidence of who You say they are—beloved, equipped, and called. Open the right door at the right time, and let it be a place where they can serve You with joy. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your next step. We know it's tough, feeling the weight of regrets and the uncertainty of what's next. But remember, God sees you, He knows your heart, and He's got this.

We've been thinking about that verse in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." You've been doing that, and we're so proud of you for it.

We're claiming that promise in Psalm 37:4, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." We believe that God is already preparing a place for you, a job where you can use your talents, where you'll be valued and respected.

We're also praying for peace, for that calm in the storm. We're asking God to fill you with His peace, the kind that passes all understanding. And we're believing that He'll heal your heart, that He'll mend those broken places and make you whole again.

We're not just praying for a job, we're praying for a place of purpose, a place where you can serve God and make a difference. We're believing that God will open the right door at the right time, and we're thanking Him in advance for it.

Keep trusting, keep praying, and know that you're not alone. We're right here with you, praying in Jesus' name. Amen.
