I have alot on my mind and plate and anxiety. I am always fearful of big decisions. And counted on some things in making this decision that have not happened. I pray that the anxiety would cease and I would know this is Gods plan and he will take care of the things I was hoping for in his time. I pray over my new grandbaby remain healthy and safe as well as my children and family. The decision I am making is about my entire family and I have some members of my extended family that bring a lot of anxiety to my life so I pray that they would be handled as well by God and that I am able to work this plan for the betterment of my family. It’s just a lot of stress right now. So I pray for Gods peace. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

We hear the weight of your heart, dear sister in Christ, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting every burden before our Heavenly Father. The anxiety you feel is real, but we declare that it does not have the final say over your life. The Word of God tells us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB). We take hold of this promise together, believing that His peace will flood your soul as you surrender these decisions to Him.

You are right to seek God’s will in this matter, it is no small thing to make choices that impact your entire family. We pray that the Lord would make His path clear to you, removing every obstacle of fear and doubt. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). The things you were hoping for may not have come to pass in your timing, but we trust that God’s timing is perfect. He sees the full picture when we only see fragments, and He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

We also lift up your precious grandbaby, your children, and your family before the Lord. May He surround them with His angels, keeping them healthy and safe. "The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore" (Psalm 121:7-8 WEB). We pray for wisdom in navigating the relationships within your extended family that bring anxiety. May the Lord soften hearts, bring healing where there is strife, and give you grace to respond in love, even when it is difficult. "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18 WEB).

Father, we come before You now, laying down every fear, every unknown, and every weight that has been pressing on our sister’s heart. We ask You to replace her anxiety with Your perfect peace, her uncertainty with Your divine clarity, and her weariness with Your strength. Give her the courage to move forward in faith, knowing that You go before her and that Your plans for her family are plans for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). We rebuke the spirit of fear in Jesus’ name, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, guiding her steps and guarding her heart.

We also pray for unity and protection over her family. Where there is division, bring reconciliation. Where there is worry, bring trust. Where there is weakness, bring Your mighty power. May she see Your hand at work in every detail, and may her faith grow as she witnesses Your faithfulness. We declare that no weapon formed against her or her family will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will turn every challenge into a testimony of Your goodness.

Lord, we thank You for the privilege of standing in the gap for our sister. We trust that as she seeks You with her whole heart, she will find You (Jeremiah 29:13). Strengthen her, encourage her, and remind her that she is never alone. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

It makes sense that fear and anxiety would rise when the stakes feel this high, especially with extended family pressures in the mix.

We are praying for God's peace to settle your heart as you seek His will step by step. When everything feels urgent at once, it can help to separate what is actually before you today from what is still unknown. You might find it steadying to write down the decision as you see it, what you hoped would happen and what you do know today, and then share that with one trusted, wise person who knows you and your family well, like a pastor or counselor, to pray and think it through with you. You do not have to carry or solve it all in one moment.

We also join you in praying for your new grandbaby and for your children and family to be kept safe and well, and for wisdom in navigating extended family dynamics.

Father, we bring our friend to You right now. Calm anxious thoughts, give clear wisdom for the next faithful step, and guard this family in Your care. Let Your peace rest on this home and on that little grandbaby. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden has been brought before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours in prayer to our gracious God who hears the cries of His people.

We understand the weight of anxiety when great decisions press upon you and when those things upon which you counted have not yet come to pass. Remember that the infinite God has thoughts of peace toward you and not of evil, to give you an expected end. His thoughts toward His people are always thoughts of peace through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ. He seeks your peace, He creates your peace and He sustains your peace, and He is even now refining you and designing your highest good.

The Word promises perfect peace to him whose mind is stayed upon the Lord, because he trusts in Him. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when sorrows surge around and when duties throng and press. Great peace have they which love Thy law, a peace which can exist when strife rages all around, a restfulness of intellect and of desire when the heart is stayed upon Christ. If your will is brought to delight in God's will, then the fangs of the serpent are extracted and the sorrow is sucked out of the sorrow by the lips of acquiescence.

Therefore hear the Lord's own command so often repeated in His garden, Fear not. Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. Fear dishonours God and weakens the soul, but trust in promised strength casts it out. You have to do the right thing as before the Lord and then be no longer anxious about it, but leave the result with God. That is His business and He will not fail you.

We pray with you now. O Lord our God, Thou hast taught us from our youth and Thy wondrous works are before us. Look upon this anxious heart and keep it in perfect peace as the mind is stayed on Thee. Take away fear and grant trust in Thy promised help. Thou knowest the great decision that concerns this whole family, the hopes deferred and the stress that lies heavy. In Thy time and in Thy wisdom provide what is needed and make Thy plan plain. Let Thy peace rule where anxiety has reigned. We ask Thee to keep the new grandchild in health and safety, and to watch over children and family near and far, for in Jesus keeping we are safe and they are safe. Deal graciously also with those members of the extended family who bring trial, and restrain what would harm and turn all for good. Grant wisdom to work this plan for the betterment of the household, and let all be done to Thy glory. Give rest in doing the will of Jesus, and let the heart find that to trust Thee is to be kept in peace. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our peace. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly and for entrusting us with your burden. We have heard your request and we join you in prayer before our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and find salvation and peace.

We understand how heavy it feels when big decisions rest on your shoulders, especially when those decisions affect your children and your new grandbaby, and when things you were counting on have not yet come to pass. It is natural to feel fearful and stretched thin, but Scripture reminds us that anxiety itself becomes a heavy scourge upon the soul, weighing us down far more than the trouble itself. Our Lord knows this and He invites us to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us.

We pray with you that God will quiet your anxious thoughts and guard your heart with His peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask Him to give you clear wisdom for each step, to show you what is truly His plan, and to help you trust His timing for those things you have been hoping for. Even when we cannot see how provision will come, He remains faithful to care for His children.

We lift up your grandbaby, your children and your whole household, asking the Lord to keep them healthy and safe in His gracious hand. We also bring before Him the strain you feel from extended family. We pray that God would handle those difficult relationships according to His wisdom, set healthy boundaries where needed, and give you strength and grace to pursue what is good and right for your family without being overwhelmed by fear.

May the Lord free you from the weight of anxious care about what lies ahead, as He promises to provide for those who trust Him, and may He exalt your mind above fear by fixing your hope on Him who is able to keep both soul and body. We pray that you will know in a deeper way that He is with you, that He will not abandon the work He has begun in you and your family, and that His will is good and perfect.
