Prayer request

Beloved of All
Dear Lord, thank you for your goodness. I pray for good rest, for ###’s health, for my ###, for healing for ## for their lung issues, for *** heart issue, and quick healing, and against lustful thoughts

We join with you in thanking the Lord for His goodness, for He is good and His loving kindness endures forever. We are grateful you have brought these needs before Him, and we stand with you in prayer for each one you have mentioned.

We lift up your desire for good rest. The Lord knows our need for sleep and restoration. Psalm 127:2 says it is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his loved ones. And Jesus invites us in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. We pray the Lord will quiet your mind and body and grant you deep, peaceful rest as you trust in Him.

We also bring before the Father the health needs you mentioned, the loved ones you carry in your heart, the one with lung issues and the one with a heart issue, and we ask for quick healing according to His will. We pray for complete restoration and for wisdom for any doctors and caregivers involved. Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 declares, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We trust the Lord as our healer, knowing that even as we ask for quick healing, we submit to His perfect timing and His perfect will, which is always for our good.

We also want to address with love and truth your request for help against lustful thoughts. This is a battle many face, and God calls us to purity of heart and mind. Jesus said in Matthew 5:28, but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart. Lustful thoughts are not harmless, they defile the heart and lead us away from holiness, and so we must rebuke them and turn from them. Yet we also know there is grace and power to overcome. 1 Corinthians 10:13 promises, No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the tempter also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. We encourage you to take every thought captive as 2 Corinthians 10:5 instructs, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and to replace those thoughts with what is pure. Philippians 4:8 exhorts us, Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things. When those thoughts come, we urge you to flee from temptation, to pray immediately, to fill your mind with Scripture, and to ask God as in Psalm 51:10, Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me. He is faithful to cleanse and renew us as we walk in repentance and dependence on Him.

We noticed your prayer was addressed to Dear Lord, and we want to gently encourage you about the precious name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name we pray with confidence.

So we pray together now, Father, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy toward us. We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, asking for Your grace and healing power. Grant our dear one peaceful and restorative sleep, and watch over the health of each loved one mentioned. Lay Your healing hand upon the lungs that are struggling and upon the heart that needs healing, and bring quick and complete recovery as it aligns with Your will. Strengthen and encourage the hearts of all who are waiting and worrying. Create in us clean hearts, Lord, and help us to flee from lust and to walk in purity, renewing our minds daily through Your Word and Your Spirit. Forgive us where we have sinned in thought and deed, and lead us in paths of righteousness. We trust You as our rest, our healer, and our deliverer. We ask all these things in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

Thank you for sharing this with us. We hear how much you are carrying as you thank God and at the same time bring so many loved ones before Him.

We are joining you in prayer for deep, restoring rest for you, and for healing for those you named with lung and heart needs. It is a lot to hold at once, and it makes sense that sleep and peace feel stretched thin when people you love are hurting. Alongside prayer, we encourage you to stay close to their medical care teams and to your own doctor if rest continues to be difficult, so you have support on both the spiritual and physical sides.

We also hear your honest desire to walk free from lustful thoughts. That honesty matters. Many find it helps to have a simple, ready plan for those moments, like turning attention quickly, praying briefly, and stepping away from whatever tends to stir those thoughts, and to have one trusted, mature believer to be honest with for encouragement and accountability.

Father, we thank You for Your goodness that our friend has already seen. We ask You to grant good rest tonight and in the nights to come, to bring Your healing and comfort to each loved one mentioned, to give wisdom to their doctors and peace to the family, and to strengthen our friend to walk in purity with a clear mind. Guide each step ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

We thank God with you for His goodness, and we join you in bringing these burdens to the throne of grace where Christ Himself invites the weary to come and find rest.

You asked for good rest, and we pray the Lord will give you that twofold rest of which Scripture speaks. There is the rest He gives when we first come to Jesus, a present and perfect rest for the soul that trusts in Him, and there is the rest we find as we learn of Him and take His yoke upon us. It is not a rest of idleness, but rest on the wing, rest in motion, rest in service with His yoke upon us. May your mind be made more like the mind of Christ, and in that likeness may you find a deep, growing and abiding rest unto your soul, both in sleep and in waking, trusting Him who says, Come unto me and I will give you rest.

We lift up to the Lord those you love who are in need of healing, those with lung issues and with heart trouble, and all whose health weighs upon your heart. We pray for quick healing according to His wise and tender will. Scripture shows us that the least thing about Christ is healing, that even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and that pardon and healing flow from the same gracious hand. When Jesus healed the sick, He first said, Thy sins are forgiven thee, to show that the well of bitterness is dried up at the cross. We pray that each one for whom you intercede would know the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, and that whether healing comes swiftly or through a longer path, they would know the Lord Himself drawing near to bind up wounds. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and no sickness is beyond His touch. We ask Him to bring these dear ones beneath that healing hand and to grant wisdom to all who care for them.

You also asked for help against lustful thoughts, and this is a faithful prayer. The Lord knows our thoughts, and His thoughts are not our thoughts, for as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than our ways. Our thoughts must be conformed to His thoughts if we are to walk in fellowship with Him. We pray that God would make His thoughts precious to you, that as you meditate upon His constant, kind, wise and gracious thoughts toward you in Christ, your own thoughts would be taken captive to the obedience of Christ. Learn of Him, keep near to Him, and when you awake may you still be with Him. Turn quickly from what would mislead the mind, adorn your life and home with what leads thoughts aright, and look to the Lord Jesus Christ for all things, for He perceives our thoughts and is able to cleanse and renew them. May He grant you purity of heart, strength to flee temptation, and joy in the holiness which He loves to give His people.

We pray that the Lord would keep you in His perfect rest, heal according to His abundant mercy, and guard your mind in Christ Jesus, who alone is our salvation and our peace. May you trust and so enter into rest, and may His grace be sufficient for every need you have brought before Him. Amen.

Amen. Father please hear their prayers and help them. I join in asking your help against lustful thoughts for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In Jesus name. Amen

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
