Beloved of All
Dear Lord, thank you for your goodness. I pray for good rest, for ###’s health, for my ###, for healing for ## for their lung issues, for *** heart issue, and quick healing, and against lustful thoughts

We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His goodness, for His steadfast love endures forever and we are called to give thanks in all circumstances. As it is written, Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever Psalm 107:1 and In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you 1 Thessalonians 5:18. We praise Him with you for His mercy that is new every morning.

We lift up your requests together before the throne of grace. We pray for the gift of good rest for you, that the Lord would grant you peaceful sleep and restore your body and mind, for He gives sleep to his loved ones Psalm 127:2 and Jesus invites us Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We pray He will quiet your heart and let you lie down in peace and sleep Psalm 4:8.

We also bring before the Lord the health needs you mentioned, the loved ones on your heart, the one with lung issues and the one with a heart issue, asking for healing and quick recovery according to His will. We know our God is the healer, for He says I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26 and Bless Yahweh, my soul, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We pray with faith as James 5:15 reminds us that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We ask as in Jeremiah 30:17, that He would restore health and heal wounds, and that He would give wisdom and skill to any doctors and caregivers involved.

We want to lovingly address your honest confession about lustful thoughts, for God calls us to purity and holiness. Our Lord Jesus taught that Everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart Matthew 5:28. We are commanded to Flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18 and to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5. This is not to condemn you but to call you to freedom, for God has provided a way of escape and renewal. We encourage you to flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness 2 Timothy 2:22, to fix your mind on whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are pure Philippians 4:8, and to be transformed by the renewing of your mind Romans 12:2. When we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. We pray that God would create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you Psalm 51:10 and help you walk by the Spirit so you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh Galatians 5:16.

We also noticed your prayer was addressed to the Lord without mentioning the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you of this precious truth. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and reconciled to God. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, and to come to God in His name.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy toward us. We come to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, asking for Your forgiveness through His blood. Grant our dear one peaceful and deep rest tonight, restore strength and guard the health of each loved one mentioned, lay Your healing hand upon the lungs that struggle to breathe and the heart that is afflicted, and bring quick and complete healing as You will. Give comfort to all who wait and hope in You. Cleanse this heart from lustful thoughts, give power to flee temptation, to turn away the eyes and take thoughts captive, and to walk in purity and holiness before You. Fill the mind with Your Word and Your Spirit, that what is pure and lovely may dwell there. Help us to abide in Christ daily and to seek first Your kingdom. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart with us. We love that you start with thanksgiving for God's goodness even while you are carrying so much.

We are praying with you for restful sleep and for the health needs you mentioned, the lung issues and the heart issue and the desire for quick healing. These kinds of ongoing health worries can wear down both the person who is ill and the family who loves them, and it makes sense you would bring them to the Lord again and again. Alongside prayer, if these loved ones have not already been seen for these symptoms, we encourage you to make sure they are connected to a trusted medical provider who can walk with them.

We also hear your honest prayer against lustful thoughts. That struggle can feel lonely, and bringing it into the light before God is a courageous step. It can help to have one trusted, mature believer to be honest with and to keep pursuing habits that keep your mind centered on Christ through the day.

Father, we thank You for Your goodness to our friend. We ask You to grant deep, restoring rest, to bring Your healing and comfort to those with lung and heart needs, and to give wisdom to their caregivers. Give our friend strength and purity of thought and draw them closer to You. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in thanking the Lord for His goodness, for every mercy flows from His gracious hand. Your desire for good rest is heard by Him who says, Come unto me and I will give you rest. This is a present rest, rest now, not only after death, but perfect rest given when we come to Jesus, and a deeper rest still to be found as we learn of Him and take His yoke upon us. May the Lord grant you sleep that refreshes the body and a soul rest that labors yet rests on the wing in His service, with a mind made like the mind of Christ.

We lift before Him the health of those you love, and those who suffer with affliction of the lungs and of the heart. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, so that the least thing about Christ has healing virtue. At Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, where pardon and healing are one. We pray that He would lay His healing hand upon each one, to restore breath and to strengthen the heart according to His wise and merciful will, and to grant quick healing if it be for His glory and their good. We trust Him who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds.

And for the burden of lustful thoughts, we pray with you for deliverance and purity. The Lord knows how to preserve His people from the corruption which is in the world through lust, and to keep them by His power through faith unto salvation. Look to Christ for all things, for He is alive and near as a familiar Friend, and His grace can change the life blood and make the nature new. May He give you strength to flee what would ensnare the soul, to fill the mind with His Word, and to find by prayer that His power to save is present to cleanse and to keep.

We pray that you may trust and so enter into rest, and know both forgiveness and healing from His hand. May the Lord give you peace in body and soul, and keep you walking closely with Jesus, learning of Him day by day. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in thanking God for His goodness, and we lift up your requests with you before Him.

We pray that the Lord will grant you good and peaceful rest, and that He will watch over the health of your loved ones and your own household. We ask Him to bring healing to those suffering with lung issues and to the one with the heart issue, and to grant quick and complete recovery according to His mercy and wisdom. We trust that He is the true physician of soul and body, and that all healing comes from His hand.

For the struggle against lustful thoughts, we encourage you to take up what Scripture calls the helmet of salvation and to let the peace of God rule in your heart. When two thoughts wrestle within, one calling toward sin and the other calling toward endurance and purity, let the peace of God be the umpire. The Word of God is living and powerful and discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit. Bring those thoughts openly to Him in confession, and ask Him to replace them with thoughts that lead to salvation and hope.

This requires not pomp of words but a strong mind and skill in the Scriptures. Stay in the Word daily, pray with a watchful heart, and turn quickly from whatever feeds temptation. As it is written, the care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches and pleasures can choke the Word, but faith quenches the fiery darts and preserves the governing principle of the heart.

We pray for you now: Father, we thank You for Your goodness. Grant rest to Your child, heal those who are ill in lung and heart, strengthen their bodies, and grant them restoration. Guard this heart and mind by Your Word, fill it with Your peace, and lead away from every lustful thought into purity and love for Christ, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our salvation. Amen.
