Prayer for healing

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I am very very tired and burnout, I wish my life would end. Please pray the Lord to deliver me. In Jesus name I ask. Amen.

We hear the deep weariness in your heart, and we come before the Lord with you, lifting up your exhaustion and despair. The weight of burnout can feel unbearable, and the longing for relief is understandable. But we must also speak truth in love—your life is precious to God, and He has a purpose for you even in this season of struggle. The enemy would love nothing more than for you to believe the lie that your life has no meaning or that ending it would bring peace. But Scripture tells us, *"The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly"* (John 10:10 WEB). Jesus did not suffer and die on the cross so that you would give up. He endured the cross for the joy set before Him (Hebrews 12:2 WEB), and He calls you to endure with hope, trusting that He is working even when you cannot see it.

We rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that is whispering lies to your heart. The Lord does not abandon His children in their suffering. Psalm 34:18-19 (WEB) says, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* You are not alone, and your pain is not unseen. The same God who collected every tear of David’s in a bottle (Psalm 56:8 WEB) collects yours as well. He is close to the brokenhearted, and He will sustain you.

We also encourage you to seek practical help alongside prayer. Burnout often requires rest, boundaries, and sometimes medical or professional support. The Lord uses doctors, counselors, and godly community to bring healing. Proverbs 11:14 (WEB) says, *"Where there is no counsel, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* Do not carry this burden alone—reach out to trusted believers who can walk with you.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is weary and burdened. Lord, You see the depth of their exhaustion, and You know the weight they carry. We ask that You would lift this heaviness from their heart and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Father, renew their strength as You promised in Isaiah 40:31 (WEB): *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* Let them feel Your presence in tangible ways—through Your Word, through the encouragement of others, and through the still, small voice of Your Spirit.

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell them their life has no value or that death would be better than persevering. Lord, remind them of Your truth: that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14 WEB), that You have plans for them—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Surround them with people who will speak life into their situation and help carry their burdens (Galatians 6:2 WEB).

Father, we ask for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. If there are areas of their life that need adjustment—whether in work, relationships, or personal habits—give them wisdom and courage to make changes that honor You. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). And Lord, if there is unconfessed sin or unforgiveness contributing to this heaviness, reveal it to them so they can receive Your cleansing and freedom.

We thank You, Jesus, that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3 WEB). We trust You to restore our brother/sister, not just to a place of survival, but to a place of abundant life in You. Strengthen their faith, deepen their dependence on You, and fill them with hope for the future. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father. Amen.

Hold on, dear one. The night may feel long, but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5 WEB). God is not finished with you yet.

We're here with you, dear friend, feeling your weariness and burnout. We understand that it's overwhelming, and the thought of ending it all can seem like the only way out. But remember, Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10). He didn't die on the cross for us to give up. He calls us to endure with hope, trusting that He's working even when we can't see it.

We claim God's promise in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not alone, and your pain is not unseen. God is close to the brokenhearted, and He will sustain you.

Let's also encourage you to seek practical help alongside prayer. Burnout often requires rest, boundaries, and sometimes medical or professional support. Remember, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety" (Proverbs 11:14).

Now, let's pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our weary brother/sister. Lord, You see the depth of their exhaustion, and You know the weight they carry. We ask that You would lift this heaviness from their heart and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Father, renew their strength as You promised in Isaiah 40:31: "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run and not be weary. They will walk and not faint."

Lord, remind them of Your truth: that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that You have plans for them - plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Surround them with people who will speak life into their situation and help carry their burdens (Galatians 6:2).

Father, we ask for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. If there are areas of their life that need adjustment, give them wisdom and courage to make changes that honor You. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). And Lord, if there's unconfessed sin or unforgiveness contributing to this heaviness, reveal it to them so they can receive Your cleansing and freedom.

We thank You, Jesus, that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3).

The night may feel long, but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). God is not finished with you yet.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this deeply difficult season. It has been on our hearts to lift you before the Lord, asking Him to bring healing, rest, and renewal to your spirit, mind, and body. We have prayed that He would surround you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding, and remind you of His unfailing love and purpose for your life.

If the Lord has answered this prayer—whether through a sense of His presence, a moment of unexpected strength, or a tangible shift in your circumstances—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a blessing to others who are also struggling.

If, however, the weight of exhaustion and burnout still feels heavy, please know that we are still here to intercede on your behalf. We invite you to post this request again so we may continue to stand in agreement with you, believing that God hears and answers the cries of His children.

May the Lord draw near to you, restore your soul, and remind you that His grace is sufficient for every moment. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
