We have read your request and we hear the deep longing behind it for everyone to be safe and to be with God forever in Heaven, and we join together to bring this before the Lord in truth and love.
We must lovingly speak the truth about what you have asked, because Scripture does not teach that hell can be prayed away or removed by asking God to take it away from all people. Hell is real, and it is part of God's perfect justice and holiness. Jesus Himself spoke of it more than anyone else, warning us out of love so that we would turn and be saved. He said in Matt 25:46, These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life. And again in Mark 9:43, If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having your two hands to go into Gehenna, into the unquenchable fire. In Rev 20:14-15 we read, Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. If anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire. And in Rev 21:8 the same eternal separation is described for the unrepentant.
We understand the desire that everyone would only experience Heaven, and God Himself has that compassionate heart, for it is written in 2 Pet 3:9, The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Yet God is also perfectly just and holy, and He will not force anyone into Heaven against their will, nor will He overlook sin without atonement. The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom 6:23. It is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment. Heb 9:27. Hell was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, but those who reject God's provision will share in that separation.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we must tell you with love that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and can be saved from hell and enter Heaven. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. God has not taken hell away, but He has made a way for us to be delivered from it through the death and resurrection of His Son. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16. Whoever believes in Him is not judged, but whoever does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God. John 3:18.
So we cannot pray that God would abolish hell itself, for that would be asking Him to deny His own justice and His own Word, but we can and do pray with all our hearts that God would save people from hell, that He would draw many to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ while there is still time.
We pray together now in Jesus' name. Father in Heaven, we come before You only through the blood and name of Your Son Jesus Christ, and we thank You that You are both merciful and just, holy and loving. We thank You that You have not left us without hope, but You provided the way of salvation through Jesus who died for our sins and rose again. Lord, we ask that You open the eyes of all who do not yet know You, that they would see the reality of sin and judgment and the greater reality of Your love and forgiveness. Grant repentance and faith to those who hear Your Word, that they would turn from sin and trust in Jesus alone to be written in the book of life. For the one who sent this request and for all who long for Heaven, we pray You would deepen their understanding of Your Word and lead them into a living relationship with Jesus, that they may have assurance of eternal life and not eternal punishment. Help us to share this good news with urgency and compassion while it is still called today. We ask all this in the saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our only hope of Heaven. Amen.
We encourage you to seek the Lord while He may be found, to confess your sins and to put your complete trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. If you have not yet done so, turn to Him today, believe that He died for you and rose again, and follow Him in obedience. That is the only way God has provided to be delivered from hell and to receive the promise of Heaven, and His promise is sure for all who believe.

That desire is close to God's own heart. Your earnest request that hell might simply be taken away from all men in a moment is one that shows a deep longing for mercy, and I do not pass it by lightly. Yet I cannot pray as you have worded it, for to ask God to abolish hell by a mere wish would be to ask Him to set aside His own justice and His own Word, and that He will never do.
Scripture sets heaven and hell before us as two certain and eternal realities. There is a road to heaven, and there is a pit for the lost, and no power in heaven, nor on earth, nor in hell can stop those who come to Christ from entering glory, while none can escape the just judgment of God except through Christ alone. To pray that hell be removed from all without distinction would be to make the cross needless, and to make Christ to have died in vain.
The way to escape hell and to be found in heaven is not by asking that hell cease to exist, but by looking unto Christ and being saved. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. What is believing on Him? It is trusting in Him, depending upon Him without fear as to your present and eternal salvation. Look unto Him, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, for He is God alone and beside Him there is no Saviour. Heaven must be in us before we can be in heaven, and that heaven within is Christ dwelling in the heart by faith. Heaven itself is God fully enjoyed, and the chief blessing of heaven is that the saints shall there see Jesus.
Therefore I will pray for you, not that hell may be taken away from all irrespective of faith, but that you and those you love may this very day hear the call of mercy and flee to Christ. I pray that God, in His great compassion, would show you your need as a sinner, lead you to trust the Lamb who is the Sacrifice and Atonement, and give you that living faith which saves the soul. May He grant you repentance and faith, that you may know the substance and secret of the divine life even now, and at last behold the King in His beauty.
If you are without grace in your heart today, do not go downwards as fast as your feet can carry you. Turn now to Jesus with the cry, God be merciful to me a sinner, and He will not cast you out. There is life in a look at the Crucified One, and that look does not require a moment. May the Lord bring you to that look this Sunday, and keep you by His grace until you shall drink at the Source and dwell by the well forever.

Your request this Sunday morning has been heard, and we understand the deep longing in it for safety and peace and for Heaven alone to remain.
We cannot pray as you have asked, that God would simply take hell away from all people in this moment and leave only Heaven, because Scripture does not teach us to pray in that way. God Himself has revealed both His promise of the kingdom and His warning of judgment, and both are true. As it is written, the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness, and the Lord Jesus Himself taught us to fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
To ask that hell be removed by a prayer, as if it could be extinguished by our silence about it, would not be truthful and would not help any soul. Whether we speak of it or not, the reality remains. The reason God has told us about hell is not to crush us without hope, but to awaken us and to lead us to salvation. The remembrance of our latter end keeps us from sin, and the fear of giving account makes the soul slow to transgression. To converse about hell, though it pains the hearer, renders the soul purer and humbles it, so that we seek mercy while there is time.
The good news we proclaim on this Sunday, the day of Resurrection, is not that hell has been taken away from everyone without distinction, but that a great salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ alone. He came to bring forgiveness and righteousness and life, and He suffered the Cross to accomplish it. Through His death and resurrection He has opened the gates of Heaven, a new and living way, so that all who turn to Him in repentance and faith may be delivered from the wrath to come and receive eternal life. Now is the time of correction and mercy, so that we should not be condemned with the world afterward, when judgment will be for vengeance.
Therefore our prayer for you and for all is not that God would abolish His just judgment, but that He would grant repentance and faith in His Son, so that you may escape that judgment. We pray that God would have mercy upon you, forgive your sins through the blood of Christ, wash you and make you new, and keep you in His grace to walk in obedience to Him.
If you have not yet done so, turn to the Lord Jesus Christ with your whole heart, confess your sins, trust in His sacrifice for you, and follow Him. That is the only way to be saved from hell and to enter Heaven, for there is no other name by which we are saved. We pray that you will know that salvation today, and that you will live in the hope of Heaven with a holy fear that keeps you close to Christ until the end.
