Prayer for God to take me away from someone

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please ask God to take me away from someone who has caused me so much grief and turmoil. I moved in with this family who had only one request was that I kept a healthy happy environment for their daughter and no one else was living there. Then everything went downhill I was attending martial arts classes to keep myself happy and healthy and I was already learning about keeping a good environment. They ended up taking in there son from a rehab center but they continued to expect me to keep a healthy environment and never they helped me but allowed this son to come before me and this made my environment horriable, they are still connecting with me visually like they are having problems with me and they were not fair. I honestly think no one should rent from them if this is what they do. Please pray for me for healing and for my environment and good words and inner self to come back to full health I pray in Jesus name amen.

We hear the heaviness in your request and we join you in bringing it before the Lord together in Jesus' name. We are grateful you have called upon Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find healing and peace. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father Ephesians 2:18.

We understand how painful and confusing it must be to have entered an agreement to keep a healthy and happy environment for a child, and then to feel that promise was broken when another person was brought into the home and the burden to maintain that environment was left on you alone. It is discouraging when you feel unseen, unfairly judged, and still connected visually or emotionally to a situation that has caused turmoil. God sees this injustice and He sees your heart that desires health and peace.

The Lord cares deeply about your inner healing and your environment. His Word says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. We take comfort that He is close to you now. We also hear your desire for your inner self and your words to be restored, and we pray that God will renew your mind and your speech so that what comes from your heart reflects His peace.

We encourage you to cast all of your cares upon Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and to bring every anxiety to Him in prayer, for the promise is Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We also encourage you, as much as it depends on you, to pursue peace and to release bitterness through forgiveness, not because what happened was right, but because God has forgiven us and calls us to forgive. Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:32. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men Romans 12:18. This may mean seeking the Lord for wisdom about whether He is opening a door for you to move to a new and truly healthy environment where you can flourish, and asking Him to provide that place in His timing.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up our dear one to You. You know the grief and turmoil that has come from this living situation, the broken expectations and the feeling of being unfairly treated. We ask that You take them away from this source of distress according to Your perfect will and provide a safe, healthy, and peaceful environment where they can dwell. Lead them to a place of refuge and rest, for You have said Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. Heal the wounds in their heart and mind, restore their inner self to full health, and renew good and wholesome words within them. Guard their heart and thoughts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to forgive those who have caused hurt and to not be bound by resentment, and help them to set wise and godly boundaries going forward. Provide for their needs, guide their steps, and let them know they are not alone, for You are near to the brokenhearted. We also pray for that family and for their son, that You would bring true healing and restoration to them as well. We trust Your plans for our dear one are for good, for You have said For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. We ask all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, amen.

We hear how worn down you have felt in this living situation, and how much you wanted to honor the agreement to keep a healthy environment for their daughter. It makes sense that it felt so discouraging when another person was brought into the home and the expectations on you stayed the same, without the support you needed. Wanting a peaceful place to live and to feel like yourself again is a good and understandable desire.

What you describe about trying to stay healthy through martial arts while the home itself became stressful shows how hard you have tried to guard your own wellbeing. Part of caring for ourselves in a difficult living situation is learning where our responsibility ends and another person's begins, and giving ourselves permission to say yes and no clearly, and to step back from dynamics that keep draining us. That can be hard to do alone when you are still sharing space with the family.

One practical step that may help is to talk through your options with a trusted pastor, counselor, or wise friend outside the home who can look at the housing situation with you. It can help to review what you agreed to, what has changed, and what a healthier next living arrangement could look like, so you are not carrying all the decisions and conversations by yourself.

We are praying for you and for healing in this season.

Father, we lift our friend to You and ask for Your protection and peace over his daily environment. Bring healing where there has been grief and turmoil, restore strength to his inner life, and give him wisdom and kind support as he seeks what is next. Guide him to a safe and healthy place to live and to people who will encourage him. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry for deliverance and healing has been heard, and we bring it before the Lord who is gracious and who says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, for I have found a ransom.

It is well to have grace enough to see that tribulation comes from the hand of our Father, for troubles do not spring out of the dust, neither does affliction grow up from the ground like hemlock from the furrows of the field, but the Lord Himself kindles the fiery furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. Let it never be forgotten that in all that God does, He acts from good reasons, and that which we receive from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a father's hand, and this makes even the sharpest smart to be profitable. For this reason we may wisely moderate our anger against second causes, though the grief and turmoil caused by others is very real and painful, and look to Him alone who is able to save.

We are taught that deliverance from the power of darkness and from evil company is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. No one would have thought of that way of deliverance of a sinner from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it, but He has not only invented the way, He has found the ransom in His own Son who bore the penalty of all our iniquities. In Christ there is a balm and a physician who healeth the broken in heart. As the leaves fall from the trees, so does sacred influence descend from our Lord Jesus, and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. The least word that ever fell from His lips bears healing in it for the thousand ills that have befallen our humanity.

We pray for you now, that the Lord would keep back your soul from the pit and your life from perishing, that He would deliver you from going down into despair and from the power of evil company, and that He would grant you a way of peace out of this troubled dwelling. We ask Him to heal your wounds, to take the agitation from your bosom and calm the heart now swelling with grief, to restore to you good words and a sound inner self and full health of soul and body. May He give you wisdom to seek a healthy and peaceful environment where you may live quietly and grow in grace, and may He guard your heart from bitterness while He works all things for your good.

We ask that you would look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone for this sanctification and deliverance, trusting that He who has provided the ransom will also preserve your soul from all evil and will not let you say, I am sick, without also providing the healing draught. May you live and declare the works of the Lord, and find that He has delivered you indeed.

We commit you to the pardoning and healing hand of our Lord Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord. We understand the grief and turmoil you have felt in this living situation, where you sought to keep a healthy and peaceful environment and then felt that expectation become unfair and burdensome when the household changed. It is painful when a home does not feel safe or fair, and when you feel watched or judged without help being offered.

We pray for you now for healing and for restoration of your inner life. We ask God to bring peace to your heart and mind, to renew your strength, and to restore the good and healthy inner self that has been worn down by stress and conflict. We ask Him to give you wisdom for your next steps, to provide for you a truly healthy and stable environment, and to guide you to people and a place where you can live in peace and grow in wholeness.

We also pray that God would deliver you from what is harmful and supply what is good, for He alone is our deliverer from evil and our source of every blessing in Christ. Through Jesus Christ we have adoption as sons and daughters and the promise of His Spirit to comfort and strengthen us, and we ask that you would know that comfort deeply in this time. We pray that you would hear His word continually, be strengthened with fortitude, and find rest from worldly cares as you trust Him.

If it is His will to move you to a different home, we pray He would open that door clearly and provide what you need. If you remain for a time, we pray He would guard your heart, give you clear boundaries, and help you to act with grace and truth. We pray for words of life to return to you, for healing in your thoughts and emotions, and for the Lord to surround you with wise and caring support from His people.

We encourage you to stay rooted in prayer, in hearing the word of God, and in fellowship with faithful believers who can walk with you and give godly counsel as you make decisions about housing and relationships.

We bring all of this before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, asking for His mercy, His healing, and His peace to be upon you. Amen.

Been in a relationship with someone for about ### years. A few weeks ago, they went to work intoxicated and almost/is fired. Their answer was to come home and take almost all their sleeping pills. Now they’re blaming me for it. They claim they are sorry, but I’ve never seen someone apologize...
