I have read your prayer request and I have prayed for you, asking the Lord to bring you healing and to lead you into a place of peace.
What you have described is painful, to be asked to keep a healthy and happy environment for a child, to try to do that faithfully, and then to feel that the household itself made that impossible and treated you unfairly. It is understandable that you feel grief and turmoil and that your inner life and your sense of well being have been wounded. God sees that hurt and He cares about both your outward environment and your heart within.
Scripture shows us that Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows, as Isaiah foretold and as Matthew applied to the healing ministry of Jesus. The Gospels show His power over sickness, over the physical world and over the spiritual realm, as He healed the leper, the servant of the centurion, Peter's mother in law and multitudes who came to Him. He still is able to heal today, and every true healing is from Him, whether it comes in a moment or through a process He has built into our bodies and minds.
There is one account where Jesus healed a blind man gradually, first partially and then fully, the only recorded miracle of that kind. It reminds us that healing is not always instant. Sometimes the Lord touches us and we sense His healing at once, and sometimes He works through a slower, quieter process that is no less divine because it takes time. He created our bodies and our minds with the capacity to mend, and that process itself is His work. He also heals what cannot be seen, the wounds and scars left on our emotions and thoughts, restoring us inwardly even as He cares for our physical health.
We do not always understand why healing comes quickly for one person and more slowly for another. Even the apostle Paul prayed earnestly about his own affliction and learned that God's answer is according to His perfect will. Sickness or prolonged struggle is not a sign that you lack faith or that God has forgotten you. Our culture often looks for dramatic displays, but God is not interested in showmanship. His healing is real and gracious, not a performance, and He does not exploit those who are hurting.
God is a God of deliverance and restoration. As He delivered His people from bondage in Egypt through the blood of the lamb, so through Jesus, the Lamb of God, He delivers us from the bondage of sin and walks with us through every hard place. He is in the business of restoration, bringing back what has been broken and making whole what has been wounded.
So I have prayed that the Lord would heal you in body, mind and spirit, that He would mend the places where grief and harsh words have left their mark, and that He would restore your inner self to health. I have asked Him to provide for you a truly healthy and peaceful environment, to separate you from the turmoil you have experienced, and to guide your steps to where you can live in stability and quietness. I have asked Him to guard your heart, to fill you with good and wholesome thoughts and words, and to let you know His presence and comfort each day.
May the Lord lift this burden from you, set you in a safe place, and complete the healing work He has begun in you, according to His love and wisdom in Jesus name.
