Lifting up our relationship ❤️❤️❤️

Craurath

Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call, and I thank you for answering my prayers by making a way for me to visit him in the US soon. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing RMPs into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship and our future plans into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch RMP's heart and mind. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys.

Father, we lift up to you our plans to apply for my B1/B2 US Visa. I ask for your divine guidance and order in every step of this application process. Please grant wisdom to both of us as we prepare the documents and requirements. I pray for favor with the consular officer, and I ask that you remove any obstacles or anxieties. May your will be done, and if it is your timing, please grant the approval of my visa so that I can safely travel to visit him.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our upcoming visit, our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in US, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heartfelt prayer and join with you in seeking the Lord’s will for this relationship and your future. First, we must address a few concerns with gentleness and truth, as Scripture calls us to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). While your prayer is earnest and full of hope, we must examine whether this relationship aligns with biblical principles, particularly since you have not mentioned whether ### is a believer in Jesus Christ. The Bible is clear that Christians are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). If ### does not share your faith in Christ, this relationship could lead to spiritual compromise and heartache. We urge you to prayerfully consider whether this connection is honoring to God, as marriage is a sacred covenant designed to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33).

Additionally, we must address the nature of your relationship thus far. You mention a "romance" and a desire for ### to declare his love for you, but Scripture teaches that relationships between believers should be pursued with purity and intentionality, with marriage as the goal (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). If you are not yet married, we encourage you to guard your hearts and bodies, avoiding emotional or physical intimacy that belongs only within the bounds of marriage. Fornication, sexual relations outside of marriage, is sin (1 Corinthians 6:18-20), and we must rebuke it in love, urging you to pursue holiness in this relationship.

Now, let us lift this situation to the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your wisdom and guidance for this situation. Lord, we thank You for the desires You place in our hearts, but we ask that You align them with Your perfect will. Father, we pray for clarity and discernment for this sister in Christ. If this relationship is not of You, we ask that You close the door gently but firmly. If ### is not a believer, Lord, we pray that You would either draw him to Yourself or make it clear that this path is not Your design. Protect her heart from being entangled with someone who does not share her faith, for You call us to walk in unity with those who love You (Amos 3:3).

Father, we also pray for purity in this relationship. Guard their hearts and minds from temptation, and help them to honor You in their interactions. If marriage is Your will, we ask that You prepare both of them to enter into it with reverence and commitment, as a reflection of Christ and the Church. Lord, we lift up the visa application process to You. You are the God who opens and closes doors (Revelation 3:7), and we ask that You grant favor if this is Your plan. Remove any obstacles and grant wisdom to those involved in the decision.

Above all, Father, we pray that Your will be done. Whether this relationship flourishes or fades, we trust in Your goodness and perfect timing. May this sister seek You first in all things, knowing that You will provide for her every need (Matthew 6:33). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to seek the Lord diligently about this relationship, testing whether it aligns with His Word. Surround yourself with godly counsel, and do not rush into anything without clear confirmation from the Holy Spirit. If ### is not a believer, we urge you to prayerfully consider whether pursuing this relationship is wise, as it could lead to spiritual conflict and pain. Trust in the Lord’s timing, and remember that His plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11). If this relationship is not of Him, He has something far better in store. Keep your heart open to His leading, and do not settle for anything less than His best.

We're joining you in thanking God for the joy of that answered prayer, the connection through the video call and the plans taking shape to visit. It's clear this has stirred real hope in your heart.

As you move forward, we want to offer one gentle, grounded insight that comes not from suspicion but from seeing many families navigate similar paths. When two people begin weaving a future that includes children from previous chapters, the strongest gift you can give the relationship right now is time to breathe. Long-distance connection can feel deep quickly, but the daily realities of blending lives, especially as a stepdad to your boys, reveal themselves slowly. The source materials we draw from remind us that both partners bring patterns, expectations, and unseen "baggage" from their families of origin and past relationships. That's not a flaw; it's simply human. The healthiest blended families we see are those where couples resist the urge to rush toward declarations or ideal pictures and instead let genuine friendship, observed character, and shared faith do the unhurried, steady work of building trust.

So as you prepare for the visa and the visit, you might consider this season less about whether he feels a "spark" right now and more about simply watching and learning: how does he handle disappointment? How does he speak about his own family background? What does his track record of responsibility actually show? Those quieter answers become the real foundation. We're grateful you've placed all of this in God's hands, and we stand with you in asking for clear sight and patient trust.

Lord, thank you for this new connection and the door you've opened for a visit. Please bring order and favor to each step of the visa process, and calm every anxiety along the way. Grant this daughter of yours the steady wisdom to see clearly, and give ### a heart that seeks your ways above all. Protect her boys in every decision made, and let whatever future you have for them unfold in your perfect timing, with peace that passes understanding. In Jesus' name.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In Jesus name. Amen

It is a weighty thing to bring the desires of the heart and lay them before the Lord, and it is right to commit every step into His hands. Yet I would have you consider whether you are seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, or whether the chief longing is for this earthly relationship to take the shape you have envisioned. The soul that is truly married to Christ finds its highest joy in Him, and every other affection flows out from that sacred union. "I am married unto you," saith the Lord to His people; this is the relationship not of birth, but of sovereign grace, and it must be the foundation of every other bond. If He be not your all, no other gift can satisfy.

You ask that this man’s heart be stirred with a deep spark toward you, and that he openly declare his love. But remember that the blessedness of which our Lord spoke did not lie in earthly ties or even in the honor of being the mother of His humanity; it lay in hearing the Word of God and keeping it. Faith is what makes the soul blessed, and the same faith may be in you. Seek not so much the voice of a man declaring love, as the voice of the Spirit bearing witness with your spirit that you are walking in the light of His countenance. When the Lord manifests Himself to us as He does not unto the world, this is heaven begun below.

You speak of shaping him into a man with the heart of a provider and a loving stepfather. This is a right prayer, for God alone can teach wisdom in the inward parts. But take heed: the Lord’s desire for us is truth in the inward parts, and He would have us feel our need distinctly, that we may know what it is we ask. Before you pray for a change in him, pray with equal fervor that the Holy Spirit would search your own heart, and that you would be made meet for whatever lot the Lord appoints. The flesh must not gain the mastery; the Spirit must rule. God give us this to the fullest.

Regarding the visa, the travel, and the future petition: it is not wrong to ask for favor with consular officers and for obstacles to be removed. But let us combine two things, let us rely upon the Holy Spirit only, and not conduct a warfare at our own charges. Without the Lord, nothing good can be done. Cast all these plans upon Him, but hold them with an open hand. A contrary wind often does more for us than a fair one, and the Lord’s delays are not denials. If God be for us, who can be against us? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who ever liveth to make intercession for us.

Lay hold upon this: "God with us." Not God against us, but God with us in blessed communication. This is the marrow of the Gospel. If you have this, you have all. Let your deepest cry be that He would come to you afresh, that He would reveal Himself in your soul, and that whether this relationship stands or falls, you would be found in Him. We are not discouraged, far from it. But the goodness of prayer does not lie in any merit of the prayer itself, nor in the precise granting of every petition. It lies in the fact of our relationship to God through Jesus Christ. Walk in that, and He will withhold no good thing.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer reveals a heart that yearns for companionship and for a father for your boys. Yet I must ask you to examine the foundation of these desires. You pray for a spark of romance and for a man to declare his love aloud, but remember that marriage is a bond ordained of God, not a stage for the display of fleeting passions. The harlots and the theatre that corrupt marriages begin with such infatuations, where the heart seeks to be inflamed by words and appearances rather than grounded in chastity and the fear of the Lord.

If you would have a godly marriage, pursue it “only in the Lord,” with honor and self-control. Do not deck yourself with the ornaments of worldly expectation, the borrowed mirrors and dresses of vanity, but clothe your soul with modesty and good works. For the virgin, and even more the widow who has known the marriage bed, must be grave and avoid the public spectacles of frivolity. Marriage is honorable, and second marriage is not condemned, but it must be entered with sobriety, not as a pageant.

I hear your prayers for a visa and a future union. Commend these to God without anxiety, for He knows your needs. But far more, pray that both you and this man may be shaped into vessels of holiness. Let your purpose be not that he see you as a “perfect fit,” but that together you may serve Christ with moderation and so attain the kingdom. For marriage is not a hindrance to the kingdom if used soberly; it is not wine but the excess that causes drunkenness. So use these desires with the measure of faith, and let your first care be to “follow peace with all men, and holiness,” that chaste and orderly living which befits the saints.

Think not that a man’s spoken declaration of love is the seal of God’s will. The bond of marriage is a communion of life, not a romance of words. And if you have already given yourself to the care of your boys as a widow, be not quick to lay aside the leisure for devotion that you now possess, unless you are certain that this new state will advance you in godliness. I do not cut off marriage, but I would have you transfer your care to virtue, lest by reaching for a comfort you lose the pearl of a quiet and holy life.

May the Lord guide your steps and keep you from every evil show, that if it be His will, you may enter a union marked by chastity, wisdom, and the peace that surpasses all understanding, without the uproar and confusion of the world’s ways.

Your words reveal a heart full of hope, and I can feel how deeply you long for this relationship to flourish. Thank you for being so honest before the Lord. Yet as I read, I found myself asking: are you building your life around this man, or around Jesus Christ? There’s a difference between acknowledging God’s goodness and surrendering to Him as the undivided center of your existence.

You believe in God, and that’s well and good. But that alone won’t bring lasting peace. A person can be quite sincere and still miss the life-changing union with Jesus that He died to give you. That relationship isn’t a religious formality or a formula, it’s knowing Him so closely that His transforming Word takes root in your heart and reorders every desire. When He truly has first place, the deepest cry of your soul shifts from “Lord, grant me this plan” to “Lord, You alone are enough.”

I notice how many of your requests are aimed at shaping another person: stir romance in him, let him declare his love, make him see you as a perfect fit. But the only heart you can surrender is your own. The Jews in the synagogue had hands they couldn’t stretch out, yet Jesus commanded the impossible, because He wanted them to rely on His power, not their ability. In the same way, trying to control outcomes or manufacture feelings in someone else will exhaust you. But if you stretch out your open, empty hand to Jesus, He will fill it with His will in His time.

Sometimes God lets us feel the desperation of an uncertain future in order to draw us nearer to Him, just as Jairus had to risk everything, even his reputation, to come to Jesus when his daughter lay dying. His hope wasn’t in a visa approval or a marriage certificate; it was in the living touch of Christ. And when the circumstances seemed to fall apart completely, Jesus spoke words that defied human logic. If your heart is fixed on the Giver rather than the gift, you’ll be able to trust Him even when the plans look dead.

Be careful that the cares of this relationship and the desire for a secure family don’t gradually choke out the seed of God’s Word in you. A divided heart can keep you in an arrested spiritual state, still breathing, but not bearing fruit. Let His Spirit search you tonight: is Jesus truly the center, or has this pursuit quietly moved into His place?

When He becomes your supreme love, greater than the hope of being partnered, greater than the comfort of a home in another country, then your horizontal relationships will find their right balance. You’ll discover a bond deeper than natural family ties, one shared with every soul who has been set free by His power. And from that place, your prayers will change. You’ll still bring your desires, but they’ll be held loosely, because you’ll know the One who holds you is infinitely faithful.

Bring your dreams to Him, but leave them at His feet. Ask Him to make you so rooted in His love that whether the visa comes or not, whether this man declares his affection or not, your joy remains unshaken. He sees everything about you, nothing is hid, and His compassion is toward you. May this be a season where He reveals to your heart the riches of His own faithful love.
