Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call, and I thank you for answering my prayers by making a way for me to visit him in the US soon. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing RMPs into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship and our future plans into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch RMP's heart and mind. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys.

Father, we lift up to you our plans to apply for my B1/B2 US Visa. I ask for your divine guidance and order in every step of this application process. Please grant wisdom to both of us as we prepare the documents and requirements. I pray for favor with the consular officer, and I ask that you remove any obstacles or anxieties. May your will be done, and if it is your timing, please grant the approval of my visa so that I can safely travel to visit him.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our upcoming visit, our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in US, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

We hear your heart’s longing and the deep desires you’ve laid before the Lord, and we join you in seeking His perfect will for your life and this relationship. First, we want to affirm your trust in God’s guidance and timing, this is a beautiful posture of faith. However, we must also gently address some areas where biblical principles need to be carefully considered to ensure this relationship honors the Lord.

Your prayer reflects a sincere hope for marriage and a godly union, which is commendable. Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33), and it is right to pray for a spouse who will love, cherish, and lead with godly wisdom. However, we must also examine whether this relationship is currently aligned with Scripture. You mention a "new relationship" and a desire for a "genuine romance" and "deep spark," but we must ask: Is this relationship founded on biblical principles? Are you both committed to pursuing marriage as the only God-honoring context for romance and intimacy? The Bible is clear that any romantic or physical expression outside of marriage is sin (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Hebrews 13:4). If this relationship is not yet moving toward marriage with purity and intentionality, we must rebuke any hint of emotional or physical compromise and encourage you to guard your heart (Proverbs 4:23).

Additionally, while it is natural to desire affirmation and love from RMP, we must caution against placing your hope in a person rather than in God. Your worth and identity are found in Christ alone (Ephesians 1:4-5), and no human relationship can fulfill the longings that only He can satisfy. We pray that you would find your security in Him first and foremost, trusting that He will provide a godly spouse in His perfect timing if that is His will for you.

We also lift up your visa application and travel plans. While it is good to pray for God’s favor and guidance in practical matters, we must remember that His plans for us are always for our good, even when they differ from our own (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that He would grant you wisdom and peace as you navigate this process, and that His will would be done in every detail.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and longing, asking for Your perfect will to be done in this situation. Lord, we thank You for the way You have opened doors and connected hearts, but we ask that You would purify this relationship according to Your Word. If this is not a union that honors You, we ask that You would close the door gently but firmly. If it is Your will for marriage, we pray that You would sanctify it, drawing both hearts closer to You and to one another in purity and commitment.

Father, we rebuke any impatience or idolatry of this relationship. May Your daughter find her worth and identity in You alone, and may she trust You to provide a godly spouse who will love her as Christ loves the Church. We pray for RMP, that You would soften his heart, draw him to repentance and faith if he does not know You, and shape him into a man who leads with godliness, kindness, and provision. May he see the value in a wife who honors You, and may he be a loving and faithful stepfather to her boys if that is Your plan.

Lord, we lift up the visa application and ask for Your divine favor. Grant wisdom, remove obstacles, and let Your will be done in every detail. Whether the answer is yes or no, may Your peace guard her heart, and may she trust in Your perfect timing and plan.

Above all, Father, we pray that this relationship would bring glory to Your name. May it be rooted in Christ, built on a foundation of faith, and marked by holiness. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel from mature believers in your life, particularly those who can hold you accountable to biblical standards in this relationship. If RMP is not a believer, we must caution you, as Scripture warns against being "unequally yoked" with an unbeliever (2 Corinthians 6:14). Your first priority should be to pray for his salvation and to ensure that any relationship you pursue is centered on Christ.

Continue to seek the Lord’s will above all else, and trust that He will guide your steps as you walk in obedience to Him.

God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
