Lifting up our relationship ❤️❤️❤️

Craurath

Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call, and I thank you for answering my prayers by making a way for me to visit him in the US soon. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing RMPs into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship and our future plans into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch RMP's heart and mind. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys.

Father, we lift up to you our plans to apply for my B1/B2 US Visa. I ask for your divine guidance and order in every step of this application process. Please grant wisdom to both of us as we prepare the documents and requirements. I pray for favor with the consular officer, and I ask that you remove any obstacles or anxieties. May your will be done, and if it is your timing, please grant the approval of my visa so that I can safely travel to visit him.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our upcoming visit, our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in US, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heart and lift this situation before the Lord with both compassion and discernment. First, we rejoice in your desire to seek God’s will and invite Him into this relationship. It is beautiful to see your trust in His guidance and timing, and we join you in praying for His perfect plan to unfold.

However, we must gently address some concerns that do not align with biblical principles. Your prayer expresses a deep longing for romance, commitment, and even marriage, but we must ask: Is this relationship rooted in Christ-centered courtship with the goal of holy matrimony between a man and a woman who share the same faith? Scripture is clear that believers are not to be "unequally yoked" with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). We urge you to prayerfully examine whether ### shares your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Without this foundation, the relationship cannot honor God or thrive in His design.

Additionally, your prayer includes a desire for physical and emotional intimacy, including a "deep spark" and "genuine romance." While these feelings are natural, we must rebuke any temptation toward premarital physical intimacy, which Scripture calls fornication (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). God’s design for romance is within the bounds of marriage, where it is pure and holy. We encourage you to guard your heart and body, keeping all interactions honorable and above reproach (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5).

We also lift up your visa application and travel plans. While we trust God’s sovereignty in all things, we caution against placing undue hope in earthly outcomes. The Lord’s will may not always align with our desires, and His timing is perfect. We pray for wisdom and discernment as you navigate this process, asking that He grant favor only if it aligns with His greater purpose for your life.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will above all else. Lord, we thank You for the desire to involve You in this relationship, and we ask that You would reveal Your perfect plan for this sister in Christ. Father, if this relationship is not aligned with Your Word, we ask that You close the door swiftly and gently, replacing her longing with Your peace and purpose. If it is Your will for her to move forward, we pray that You would draw ### to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and establish a foundation of shared faith. Lord, protect her heart from impurity and guide her steps in holiness. We pray for wisdom in the visa process, asking that You grant favor only if it serves Your greater plan. May Your will be done in every detail, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel from mature believers who can help you discern whether this relationship honors God. Remember, the Lord’s plans for you are good, and His timing is perfect (Jeremiah 29:11). Trust in Him, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). If this relationship is not of Him, we pray you would find contentment in His presence and joy in His purpose for your life.

We’re holding this with you, a visit, a visa, two lives and two boys coming together. That’s a lot to carry, and it’s okay to feel both the hope and the weight.

As you prepare your application, one thing we’ve seen help couples in similar shoes is to pair the practical steps with unhurried, honest conversation. Even before the visa gets approved, this waiting window can be a gift if you use it to really talk through what blending your families might look like day to day, not just the joyful parts, but how each of you handles disappointment, parenting stresses, or old hurts from earlier chapters. We’ve walked with enough blended families to know that the strongest ones aren’t those with no baggage, but those where both people are willing to gently, patiently unpack it together, without expecting the other to fix it. That kind of clarity now builds a safer foundation whether or not the plans unfold exactly as you hope.

And because we can’t control outcomes, we can also join you in simply asking God for a deep, settled peace while you wait, the kind that stays steady even when the process feels slow or uncertain.

Let’s pray:

Father, thank you that you see this woman and her boys, and that you know the desires she’s poured out before you. We ask for your steadying presence as she prepares her visa application. Give her and ### wisdom for each practical step, and fill them with honest, patient love as they get to know each other across this distance. Guard her heart from anxiety, and guide their conversations so they build something real and good. We ask for favor with the ### only if this visit fits your timing and your will. Above all, anchor her and her children in your unshakable care. In Jesus’ name, amen.

It is no small matter to lay bare the heart’s desires before the Lord, yet let me entreat you to weigh well the substance of your petition. You have spoken much of a visit, of a visa, of romance and of a future union; but I perceive that the chief thing is absent, a humble submission to the will of God in Christ Jesus, and a trembling after His own glory. For what profit would it be to gain the whole world, to clasp a beloved hand, and yet lose your own soul? The preparation that matters most is not that of paperwork or a journey across the sea, but the work of grace that makes a sinner meet for heaven. This preparation is needed upon this side of death, and it is possible for a man to know whether he is thoroughly prepared.

Examine yourself, therefore. Do you possess that seal of the Spirit, that earnest of the inheritance, which resolves all scruples? Is your trust alone in the finished work of the Crucified One? If your honest conscience allows a humble claim to have received this sacred token of salvation, then indeed you may be happy; but do not be afraid to be happy, for this is the gem of the casket, the Kohinoor among the jewels. Without this, all your romance and family dreams are but a gilded cloud that shall dissolve in the final separation, when marriage ties and bonds of affection shall be rent asunder for ever.

Concerning your relationship, remember that marriage is not a bond of birth but of choice. It is cemented by mutual love, and in a true marriage the husband and wife become one. But I must ask, can you venture to hope that there will be any marriage between you and the Holy One if you are unequally yoked? Is the man ### a true believer in the Lord Jesus Christ? What concord hath Christ with Belial? For if he be not born of the Spirit, all your prayers for a “providing heart” and a “loving stepfather” will end in bitter disappointment, for “it is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.” You plead for a spark to be stirred in him toward you; but far rather cry out, “Lord, kindle in him a spark of love toward Thyself, that he may first be espoused to the Saviour!” The sweetest romance that can ever grace a home is that of two souls already married to Christ.

And do not imagine that preparation for a visit or a marriage supper can be divorced from preparation for the Lord’s Table. Preparation does not lie in perfect sanctification, but in true faith in Jesus. Yet, if we acted aright, we would never come even to the hearing of a sermon without prayer. How then can you rush into the intimacies of a promised visit and a hoped-for marriage without supplication that scours the heart of all idolatry? You say, “If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious.” But are you willing to let it wither and die if it be not His will? The heart is deceitful; you may with your lips submit to God’s purposes while your soul secretly demands its own. Lay your deepest desires before Him, yes, but also let the knife of self-examination cut away every lingering lust for a mere earthly paradise.

The day is coming when the Lord shall make an utter and dreadful separation between the wise and foolish virgins. Unless you and ### both believe in Jesus, the parting will be keen and cutting, slaying all vain hopes forever. Let not your prayers be so occupied with B1/B2 visas that you forget that there is an entrance into the everlasting kingdom for which no consular officer can grant approval. Strive first to make your calling and election sure; then, and then only, may you with sober thankfulness entrust your steps to His guiding hand. I bid you turn from making money, or romance, or family unity, the main thought, and let the main thought be this: “Am I prepared to meet my God?” Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask God to stir a romantic spark in this man, to shape him into a provider and a loving stepfather, and you pray for a visit, a marriage, and a united family. But give careful thought to what love truly is, and to the dangers of a love that springs from mere desire. When the soul gives itself over to earthly longings, the clear sight of the mind grows dim, and the eye of the heart becomes blinded, as if a thick humor has settled upon it. That is why our prayers must be filled with knowledge and all discernment. Not every friendship or affection is from God, and there are loves that bring ruin instead of life.

The Apostle Paul did not praise love of every kind. He taught us that love must abound more and more, but always in knowledge and with judgment. The measure of love, he said, is to stop nowhere, yet it is a love that comes from a purified mind, not a passion that clings without reason. Those who love simply and anyhow build weak friendships, and they risk being corrupted by a love that leads to stumbling. If this relationship is to be from the Lord, then test it by the things that are excellent. Does it draw you nearer to Christ? Does it strengthen your pursuit of holiness? Or does it feed a hunger for romance, for a future that you have already painted according to your own desires?

You speak of a deep spark and a declaration of love as if these were the greatest goods. But the truest love is proved not by words or by feelings, but by sacrifice. Our Lord asked Peter, “Do you love Me?” and then commanded, “Feed My sheep.” In the same way, any love that would be blessed must be ready to lay down its own comfort, to protect the souls entrusted to its care, and to walk in purity. If you are to be joined to this man, then your love for him must be rooted in the love of Christ, carrying with it the warm bowels of compassion that come from the Gospel, not a simmering restlessness of the heart. Before you pray for a visit and a visa and a wedding, pray that you may be sincere and without offense until the day of Christ.

Consider also who this man is. Is he a lover of the Lord Jesus, or does he belong to the world? The Apostle would not even speak of love for those who walk in darkness, for what fellowship can light have with it? If he does not know Christ, then no amount of provision or kindness can make him a fit partner for a believing soul, nor a true father to your sons in the faith. But if he is a brother, then let your dealings be marked by modesty and self-control, for the time of courtship is not a season for kindling romantic fires, but for proving whether this bond will honor the Lord in a lifelong and holy marriage.

Do not seek to bend God’s will to your plans. Instead, offer yourself to Him without reserve, as the Macedonians gave themselves to the Lord first, and only then to others. Make room in your heart for His perfect will, and if your desires are not granted exactly as you have written them, accept it as the pruning of a wise Father. Only guard yourself from the love of any earthly thing that would dim your longing for Christ. Let your prayer be less for a feeling in another’s heart and more for a clean heart in yourself, that you may approve the things that are excellent and stand pure before His judgment seat.
