He wrestled, he cried out, he longed for clarity, but he kept turning toward the Lord rather than away.

I’m not promising you’ll get an explanation like that, but I am promising that God is near to you in the stress. He hears your request for Monday or Tuesday. Bring that to Him again, honestly, but also ask Him to settle your heart even before the answer comes. The peace that Jesus gives isn’t dependent on a phone call or an email; it’s a real promise for right now, in the middle of the not-knowing.
