Pray to pass Final Job Interview

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I finished the final job interview today; I might receive the result within 24 hours. I really wanted to get this job, it's near our house and it's a good pay. Dear God, I pray that you knock on the interviewer's heart, I may not be able to answer well but I am capable of doing the task. Please tomorrow, I pray that I received a Congratulations email, for passing the Interview and getting the job.. Thank you Lord.

We hear your heartfelt request and stand with you in prayer, lifting this matter before our Heavenly Father. It is natural to desire a job that offers stability, provision, and convenience, especially when it aligns with your needs and abilities. We trust that the Lord knows the desires of your heart and will guide you according to His perfect will.

The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We encourage you to surrender this opportunity to the Lord, trusting that He will open the right doors for you. Even if this particular job does not come to fruition, we believe God has a plan for your provision and purpose. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"

We also want to gently remind you that our prayers are not about manipulating circumstances or people’s hearts but about aligning our desires with God’s will. In James 4:13-15, we are cautioned, "Come now, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow let’s go into this city, and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit,' whereas you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away. For you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.'" Let us trust that God’s timing and plan are perfect, even when they differ from our own.

We pray with you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, acknowledging that You are the provider of all good things. We lift up this situation to You, asking for Your divine favor and guidance. Lord, we pray that if this job is Your will for our brother/sister, You would soften the heart of the interviewer and open the door for this opportunity. Grant him/her wisdom, peace, and confidence as he/she awaits the outcome.

Father, we also pray for contentment and trust in Your plan, whatever the result may be. Help him/her to remember that You hold his/her future and that Your ways are higher than our ways. If this job is not part of Your plan, we ask that You close this door gently and open another that aligns with Your purpose for his/her life. Provide for his/her needs and grant him/her the strength to wait on You with hope and faith.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of anxiety or fear that may try to take hold in this time of waiting. Fill him/her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and remind him/her that You are in control. We declare that no weapon formed against him/her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him/her in judgment, You will condemn.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to rest in the Lord’s promises and continue to seek His will in all things. If this job is meant for you, it will come to pass. If not, trust that God has something even better prepared for you. Keep your heart open to His leading, and remember that He is your ultimate provider. Philippians 4:19 reminds us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Stand firm in faith, and may God bless you abundantly as you wait on Him.

We hear the eagerness and hope in your words, and we are right there with you in this waiting. The hours between an interview and a decision can feel long and heavy, especially when the job means so much, close to home, good pay, a real provision for your life. You’ve done your part; you prepared and showed up, and now you’ve placed the outcome in the Lord’s hands. That is no small act of trust.

While you wait, we want to gently remind you that your worth isn’t hanging on a single email. God’s care for you doesn’t shift with a job offer. Sometimes the hardest part isn’t the interview but the stillness afterward, when all we can do is release our grip. If you can, take a few minutes today to sit quietly and tell Jesus everything on your heart, the hopes, the worries, the “what‑ifs.” Then, as an act of trust, step away from refreshing your inbox. Do something that gives your mind a true break: go for a walk, read a book, call a friend. Giving your mind rest doesn’t mean you care less; it means you believe God can handle what you cannot control.

We pray with you now.

Lord Jesus, you know this desire for meaningful work and stable provision. We ask for peace in the waiting, a deep-down calm that doesn’t depend on the outcome. Guide those making the decision with fairness and wisdom, and if it is your will, open this door. More than anything, help our friend sense your steady presence right now, and know that you are already providing every true need. In your name we pray, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The desire of your heart is laid bare before the throne of grace, and there is no fault in seeking the Lord’s favor in such a matter. Yet let us ever mingle our supplications with the sweet perfume of submission, remembering that our Lord taught us to say, “Thy will be done.” It is well to long for this open door of employment, but it is better still to long that His perfect will might be accomplished in your life, whatever it may cost. Job, in the day of his bitterest loss, fell down and worshipped, and in all this he charged not God foolishly. Shall we, who have tasted of far greater mercy, do less?

The Lord is able to turn the heart of the interviewer whithersoever He will, for the king’s heart is in His hand. Yet be not cast down if He chooses another path. The trial of your faith is more precious than gold, and sometimes a denial becomes the soil in which fresh trust and patience spring into full flower. Bow low, then, and with quiet expectation commit the outcome to Him who knows what is best for His redeemed. Whatever the answer, cling to this: “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him.”

Meanwhile, let your prayers reach beyond this one petition. Pray for the one who interviewed you, that his own soul might be drawn to the Savior. Pray for your present companions, for the unemployed, for those who struggle in heavier chains than you. Did not the Lord turn the captivity of Job only when he prayed for his friends? Intercession is a sweet duty that often unlocks mercies we had not even dared to ask.

Be strong, and of good courage. The righteous shall hold on his way, and the Lord shall sustain him. If it be His good pleasure, He shall renew your bow and anoint you with fresh oil. And if for a season He appoints otherwise, even so, Father, it shall be well, for it is according to His mind, and that is infinitely wiser than our own.
